Played maybe 200 games with this skin across season 11 and 12 and I keep coming back to it. Odyssey Sivir takes a champion who honestly gets overlooked in the cosmetics department and drops her into one of Riot’s better sci-fi universes. Not gonna lie, when this skin first showed up on PBE I wasnt expecting much. Sivir skins have a track record of being just okay. But this one surprised me in ways I didnt anticipate, especially once you see the boomerang VFX in a teamfight.

The VFX carry this skin hard

So the big thing here is the new particle effects. Her Q gets this bright orange-gold energy trail that reads super clean against the Rift. You can actually track the boomerang return path better than on most of her other skins, which sounds minor but matters when you’re trying to poke in lane. The W ricochet has these little cosmic sparks that bounce between targets. Satisfying to watch during a jungle clear or when you’re pushing a wave pre-6.

Her E spell shield pops up with this hexagonal barrier effect. Looks techy. Feels responsive. The R activation sends out this pulse wave from Sivir that gives your whole team the movement speed boost with visible energy trails on each champion. Seen it proc in a five-man engage around baron pit last Thursday and it genuinely looked cinematic.

The recall animation is new too. She does this whole space-adventurer pose with her crossblade. Clean stuff. (Random aside: the recall music is lowkey one of my favorites in the game, wish it was longer.) Voice lines stay base though, no new VO, which is expected at this price point.

Odyssey as a skinline and where Sivir fits

The Odyssey line dropped its second wave October 15, 2020. Sivir joined alongside some other additions to the crew. Kudos Productions handled the artwork and they captured the space bounty hunter vibe perfectly. The splash has Sivir in this sleek orange and white suit with her crossblade redesigned as some kind of energy weapon. Fits the Odyssey universe where everyone is basically a space pirate or mercenary.

Kinda feels like Sivir was born for this theme. Her whole lore is about being a mercenary who fights for coin, and the Odyssey line is literally about space mercs. The color palette works too. That warm orange against dark space backgrounds gives her a distinct silhouette in game. Compare that to something like Warden Sivir which just looks muddy in most lighting.

8 chromas total for this one. Tanzanite is my personal pick, the deep purple energy effects against the dark suit just hit different in bot lane specifically. Sapphire runs a close second if you want that cold blue contrast. The Rainbow chroma exists too and its… a choice. Could be wrong here but I think it looks better in the splash than in actual gameplay where the colors get noisy during teamfights.

Price and who should pick this up

1350 RP. Standard Epic pricing. For Sivir mains this is probably the best skin she has alongside Pizza Delivery, but they serve completely different fantasies. Pizza Delivery is the meme pick. Odyssey is the tryhard pick. The one you lock in when you actually want to climb and feel good about your champion.

Real talk though, Sivir as an ADC occupies a weird spot in the meta. She’s a utility carry who scales into late-game teamfights with her ult. When she’s good, she’s really good. When she’s not, you’re basically a worse Jinx. But the skin itself doesn’t care about meta. Been running this in Diamond games where Sivir was off-meta and it still felt premium. The VFX alone justify the price.

Shop has it permanently. No vault nonsense, no loot exclusivity. Just go buy it whenever.

The honest take

Verdict time. Odyssey Sivir is the best Sivir skin if you want something that actually feels like an upgrade over base. The particle work is above average for a 1350 RP skin. Maybe just my experience but I think the Q animation feels slightly smoother on this skin, probably placebo, but I’ll take it. Three things stood out after months of play: ult VFX, recall animation, and how clean the auto attacks look with the redesigned crossblade.

Skip it if you’re not a Sivir player. 1350 RP well spent for mains. Not the flashiest skin in your collection but one of those reliable ones you never get tired of seeing on the loading screen. Top pick for Sivir mains who want function over memes. Been daily driving this since season 12 honestly and I dont see myself switching anytime soon.
