Valorant Points to USD: VP Prices and Skin Costs

Valorant points to USD works out to about one cent per point: between $0.0091 and $0.0105 per VP in the US, depending on the pack. Riot sells VP only in fixed packs (no single points), and the larger ones add bonus points, so the price of a single VP drops as you spend more.

I broke down every US pack with the real cost per point, what each skin tier runs you in dollars, the cheapest pack combo for each price tag, and what Riot will and won’t refund.

How much are Valorant Points in USD for each pack?

Valorant points to USD: price of every US VP pack

These are the six packs the US store shows when you open the VP tab in the client. The bonus is already included in the total.

Price (USD) Total VP Cost per VP VP per dollar
$4.99 475 $0.0105 95
$9.99 1,000 $0.0100 100
$19.99 2,050 $0.0098 103
$34.99 3,650 $0.0096 104
$49.99 5,350 $0.0093 107
$99.99 11,000 $0.0091 110

The thing is, the gap between the smallest and the biggest pack is only about 15% more VP per dollar. That matters if you spend every act. If you buy one battle pass a few times a year, the pack that covers exactly what you want is usually the better deal, because leftover VP is money you already spent.

What do Valorant skins cost in real money?

Skin prices in Valorant follow fixed tiers, and that is what most people converting VP really want to know. Here’s each tier, what it costs at the $49.99 pack rate, and the cheapest mix of packs that covers one skin.

Item VP Value at 107 VP per dollar Cheapest packs You pay VP left over
Select skin 875 $8.18 475 + 475 $9.98 75
Battle pass 1,000 $9.34 1,000 $9.99 0
Deluxe skin 1,275 $11.91 475 + 475 + 475 $14.97 150
Premium skin 1,775 $16.59 1,000 + 475 + 475 $19.97 175
Ultra skin 2,475 $23.13 2,050 + 475 $24.98 50

Exclusive skins and melee items don’t have one fixed price. They range from 2,175 to 5,950 VP, so check the store before you buy a pack for one. Full bundles cost more than single skins, but they include several weapons at once.

Notice something odd in the table? Two or three $4.99 packs often beat one bigger pack for a single skin. For what it’s worth, that only holds when you buy one thing at a time, and the moment you spread your spending over a whole act, the $49.99 and $99.99 packs come out ahead.

What else can you buy with VP?

Skins are the main reason. Not the only one, though. The premium battle pass costs 1,000 VP per act, and the tiers it unlocks pay back a few skins, sprays and cards if you play enough to finish it. New agents can be unlocked with VP instead of grinding their contracts, which helps when you want to try one right away. VP also buys Radianite Points, the currency that upgrades skins with new animations and finishers.

None of this makes you aim better. Your rank comes from your games, which you can see for yourself with our Valorant MMR checker, not from the vandal skin you equip.

Do Valorant points to USD rates change by region?

Yes. Every region has its own price list in local currency, and Riot adjusts those lists separately, often with different bonus amounts on the bigger packs. A pack in euros or reais does not give the same VP per dollar as the US one once you convert it. In practice, the only list that is always correct is the store in your own client.

Two details catch people out. VP lives on the account’s region, so you cannot buy cheaper VP somewhere else and move it over. And prepaid cards are tied to a region as well, so buy the card for the region your account plays on (Riot’s prepaid card page lists the rules).

Can you get a refund on Valorant Points?

Can you get your money back? Partly. Riot will refund untouched VP and skins you have not used within 14 days of purchase. Once you spend the VP, upgrade a skin, buy a bundle, the battle pass or Radianite, there is no refund. The request goes through a ticket on Riot’s support site.

Put simply, decide before you spend. The refund covers VP and items you have not touched, not second thoughts a week into using a skin.

Is it safe to buy cheap VP from other sites?

Real talk: no. “Cheap VP” offers usually mean stolen or invalid codes, or a request for your Riot login, and handing your login to a stranger is the fastest way to lose the account. Buy VP in the client or prepaid cards from a store you trust, and that is the whole list.

The same goes for “free VP generators”. They are scams without exception.

How can you spend less on Valorant Points?

Look, most players simply click the pack the store shows first. A little planning does better.

Decide what you want before you buy, then cover that exact price with the smallest set of packs from the table above, and you keep the leftover VP close to zero. If you spend every act anyway, the $49.99 or $99.99 pack is the cheaper route over a few months. Watch the store for limited-time bonus VP offers (Riot runs them now and then, not on a schedule). And the night market is worth a look whenever it shows up, since it sells a handful of skins at a discount for a limited time.

If what you want is a full collection or a ranked-ready start rather than one skin, compare the cost with our Valorant accounts first. And if you also play League, our Riot Points to USD calculator does the same math for RP, which is a separate wallet on the same Riot account.
