How does the LoL level calculator work?
It adds up the XP required for each level between your current and target level, then divides by the average XP you earn per game. XP per game depends on whether you win or lose and how long the game lasts: wins give more XP per minute than losses, and longer games give more total XP. First Win of the Day adds a flat 400 XP bonus to one game every 20 hours.
Levels 1 through 30 follow a fixed XP table that Riot set when the levelling system was reworked. After level 30, every level costs a flat 2,880 XP. The total XP from level 1 to 30 is roughly 37,440, and the games needed depend heavily on game length and win rate.
How many games does it take to reach level 30?
At a 50% win rate with 25-minute games and First Win of the Day every day, it takes roughly 130 to 150 games, which at 5 games a day is about a month. With an XP boost (purchasable in the store or earned from events), the number drops to 70 to 80 games.
If you want a ranked-ready account without the grind, our LoL accounts arrive at level 30, hand-levelled and checked before delivery.
How does XP work in League of Legends?
Every game you finish (PvP or Co-op vs AI) awards XP based on a formula: a flat base plus a per-minute bonus. Wins earn roughly 6.2 XP per minute, losses roughly 4.6 XP per minute. Surrendered games use the game length at the surrender vote. AFK detection or leaving early can reduce or remove the XP. Co-op vs AI gives reduced XP after level 10.
FAQ
Is the LoL level calculator accurate?
It uses the known XP formula and level thresholds. The main variable is game length, which the calculator asks you to estimate. Longer games earn more XP per game but take more time, so the total hours are similar either way.
Do XP boosts stack?
Yes. A per-win boost and a duration boost stack, roughly tripling XP when both are active. The calculator does not include boosts; if you have one, the real number of games is roughly half or a third of what it shows.
Does ARAM give the same XP as Summoner’s Rift?
ARAM gives XP on the same formula, but games are typically shorter (15 to 20 minutes), so XP per game is lower. Per hour of play, the difference is small.
What happens after level 30?
You continue levelling with no cap. Each level after 30 costs 2,880 XP and rewards a champion capsule containing champion shards. The capsule value varies, but the blue essence adds up over time. Reaching high levels is purely cosmetic after ranked unlock at 30.
