LoL CS per Minute Calculator: Check Your Farm Against Every Rank
This CS per minute calculator divides your total creep score by your game length and compares the result to rank benchmarks, so you can see where your farming sits relative to Iron, Gold, Diamond and everything in between. It also shows how many minions you missed compared to a perfect-CS game.

How does the CS/min calculator work?
It divides your total CS by your game length in minutes. That is the entire formula. The table below the result compares your number to median CS/min figures at each rank, drawn from community data across thousands of ranked games. The benchmarks update by role: solo laners and ADCs farm minions, junglers clear camps, and supports farm almost nothing on purpose.
What is a good CS per minute in League?
For a solo laner or ADC, the rough guide is: 6 CS/min is average (Gold), 8 is strong (Diamond), and 10 is exceptional (pro play). Nobody hits perfect CS in a real game because you lose minions to trades, roams, deaths and backs. The goal is not 12.6/min; it is to miss fewer than the player in the other lane.
Jungle CS is measured differently because camps are worth more gold each but spawn less often. A full jungle clear is 6 camps, and efficient pathing matters more than raw CS count. 5.5 CS/min in jungle is Platinum level; anything above 6.5 is Diamond territory.
How to improve your CS per minute
Three things move the number more than anything else. First, practise last-hitting in the practice tool for ten minutes a day without abilities, until the rhythm is automatic. Second, do not leave lane for a roam unless it is worth more than the minions you lose. Third, after laning phase, catch side waves that your team is ignoring instead of grouping mid and splitting farm five ways.
The climb calculator on our LoL climb calculator page shows how many games your rank target takes; better CS means more gold per game, more wins, fewer games needed.
FAQ
Does CS include jungle camps?
Yes. Your total CS in the scoreboard counts lane minions, jungle monsters, and any other units you last-hit. The calculator does not separate them; use the jungle role benchmarks for a fairer comparison if you are jungling.
What is perfect CS?
About 12.6 CS per minute in lane. That is every melee and caster minion, plus the cannon on its timer. No one reaches it in a real game, and the calculator shows the gap to put your number in context, not to set an expectation.
Why is support CS so low?
Supports are not supposed to farm. Relic Shield procs, incidental minion kills and shared jungle camps make up most of their CS. A support with high CS is usually taking farm from their ADC.
Does CS/min matter more than KDA?
In most games, yes. A kill is worth roughly 15 CS in gold, and deaths cost roughly the same. Consistent 8 CS/min generates more reliable gold than a feast-or-famine KDA, especially in longer games. The fastest way to climb as a laner is to farm better, not to fight more.
