Robux to USD Converter: DevEx and Marketplace Fee (2026)
Updated November 5, 2026
Punch in a Robux amount and this converter returns three numbers that actually come from official Roblox pages: the real DevEx payout in USD at the standard 0.0038 rate, the higher 0.0054 rate for verified U.S. 18+ creators, and what the Marketplace’s 30% fee leaves if you were to sell items for that number of Robux. The retail “buy Robux” price varies by region and platform, so that one links to the live page on roblox.com rather than fake a number.
Where the numbers come from
Rates on this converter track two places on roblox.com. For DevEx, the authority is Roblox Creator Hub, where the Developer Exchange Program article (create.roblox.com) states: “The standard exchange rate for the DevEx program is 0.0038 per 1 Earned Robux, which comes out to $114 USD for 30,000 Earned Robux.” The higher rate, still per that page, reads: “0.0054 for certain Earned Robux in eligible games from purchases of developer products, passes, subscriptions, and private servers from U.S. players who have verified their age as at least 18 years old through facial age estimation or government ID.”
The 30% Marketplace fee reflects Roblox’s standing commission on Marketplace sales. For a deeper write-up of what the fee changes over time and how it stacks with DevEx, see our deeper write-up on the 30% sales fee, which does the same arithmetic with sale-price inputs.
Plus subscription tiers come straight from roblox.com/upgrades/robux. The 500-per-month tier, verified on 5 November 2026, costs $8.99/month and grants “+500 Robux every month.” The 1,000 and 2,000 tiers run $12.99 and $21.99 respectively, under the same monthly structure.
Retail “buy Robux” prices
The converter does not quote a per-Robux retail rate because Roblox serves different package prices depending on your region and platform. Our Playwright fetch of the upgrades page on 5 November 2026 returned Vietnamese dong (₫) pack prices alongside U.S. dollar pack prices on the same grid; we won’t paste a USD figure that the live page only shows in a different currency to someone in another country.
For the live retail numbers: open roblox.com/upgrades/robux in your own browser, sign in, and compare the grid against the DevEx numbers above. Roblox Help notes that web and gift-card purchases “will receive up to 25% more Robux” over app purchases on the same account, so the per-Robux price is almost always best on desktop/web.
Who is this converter for?
Three use cases cover most of it:
- Creators cashing out. You know roughly how much Earned Robux sits in your DevEx balance and want the real payout before the exchange runs. The 0.0038 standard line is the floor; if your eligible Robux qualify for the 0.0054 tier, the higher-line output is what you actually receive.
- Sellers pricing items. You list an item on the Marketplace and want the net kept after Roblox’s 30% commission. The Marketplace line shows what hits your balance per sale at that gross Robux price.
- Buyers comparing bundles. You weigh a one-off Robux pack against monthly Plus credit. The Plus-months line divides your Robux number by 500 (the 500-per-month tier) so you can see how many months of the entry Plus 500 bundle would deliver that same Robux.
What the converter does not do
The tool keeps a narrow scope on purpose. It does not quote retail per-Robux prices (those shift by region and platform). It does not promise free Robux or discount codes: Roblox’s own Help Center is explicit that “there is no such thing as a Robux Generator” and treats any site claiming otherwise as a scam. It also does not factor in third-party resale markets, since they operate outside Roblox’s Terms of Use and the rates there are not official.

FAQ
What is the DevEx rate in 2026?
Standard: 0.0038 USD per Earned Robux. A higher 0.0054 rate applies to certain Earned Robux earned from U.S. players aged 18+ who have age-verified via facial estimation or government ID. Both are quoted from the Creator Hub DevEx article.
How much is 30,000 Robux in USD via DevEx?
$114 USD at the standard rate, as literally stated in the Creator Hub article: “0.0038 per 1 Earned Robux, which comes out to $114 USD for 30,000 Earned Robux.” At the U.S. 18+ rate, 30,000 eligible Earned Robux pays $162.
Why does the tool not show retail Robux pack prices in USD?
Roblox serves different package prices by region and platform. Our fetch of roblox.com/upgrades/robux on 5 November 2026 returned a mix of Vietnamese dong and USD prices on the same grid, which means a single USD line would mislead readers in other countries. Open the page in your own browser for your local price.
Does Roblox Plus subscription count as Earned Robux for DevEx?
No. The DevEx article explicitly excludes “Monthly Robux grants as part of a Roblox subscription.” Earned Robux must come from paid game features, Marketplace commissions and Creator Store sales.
What does the Marketplace fee come out to?
Roblox keeps 30% of a listed Marketplace sale, so a seller nets 70% of the gross Robux price. For a 1,000 Robux listing, that is 700 Robux kept. See our Robux Tax Calculator for additional cases.
Is third-party Robux trading a valid rate source?
No. Roblox Help is direct: “No. Robux are purchased from the Roblox company for real world currency or earned as a Robux creator.” Third-party Robux trades operate outside Roblox’s Terms of Use and are not an authoritative rate.
