Ann-Sivir-sary

First time I saw Ann-Sivir-sary pop up in the skin viewer I had to do a double take. A birthday party themed Sivir? Riot really went for it. Not gonna lie, the concept sounds goofy on paper but in practice it lands way better than you’d expect. Played maybe 30 games with this thing in the first two weeks after it dropped and the reactions from teammates were always funny. People typing “nice skin” in lobby chat at like 1 AM on a Tuesday.

What Ann-Sivir-sary actually brings to the table

So the whole deal here is celebration. Confetti. Party hats. The boomerang blade looks like it has streamers trailing off it when you throw Q, and the particles pop with bright pinks and golds on contact. Feels festive without being obnoxious. W bounces scatter little bursts of color between targets, which in a teamfight looks chaotic but in the best way possible. Spell shield on E gets this shimmery balloon-like dome effect. Clean read on it too, you can tell exactly when its active.

The recall animation is the highlight for me. Sivir throws her blade up and it comes back down as a piñata that she catches. Cute touch. (Random aside: I showed this recall to my duo partner and he immediately asked if there was a Draven version.) The whole skin has new VFX across the board which is what you want from a Mythic. Voice lines stay base, no new VO, but honestly Sivir’s base voice has always been solid enough.

One thing that surprised me about the auto attacks. They have this subtle sparkle trail that doesnt clutter the screen but makes cs-ing feel satisfying. Been running this in Diamond ranked and the visual clarity holds up even in messy 5v5s around dragon pit. Could be wrong here but I think the attack animation feels slightly snappier too, though thats probably placebo.

The Fist Bumps and Festivities line and release context

Ann-Sivir-sary dropped October 17, 2024. Right around Worlds season. Jiunn Kuo and Kudos Productions handled the splash art, and they nailed the energy. Bright composition, Sivir front and center with party gear, the whole thing reads immediately at thumbnail size.

The Fist Bumps and Festivities skinline is one of those smaller thematic drops Riot does. Not a huge universe like Star Guardian or Coven. More of a one-off celebration vibe. Ann-Sivir-sary fits the Fist Bumps and Festivities theme perfectly because Sivir’s kit is all about throwing things and hitting multiple people. Party energy.

No chromas on this one. Zero. Which is a little disappointing for a Mythic but I get it. The color palette is already pretty locked in with the party aesthetic. Gold, pink, teal accents. Adding chromas might dilute the theme. Still would have been nice to have an option or two.

This is a Mythic tier skin with Special pricing, meaning you’re not buying it off the shelf for RP. Vault rotation skin. You either got it through the Mythic shop rotation, crafting, or special event. Kinda adds to the exclusivity which I respect. Seen maybe 4 or 5 of these in my games total across the whole season, and every time the Sivir player was clearly a main. Season 14 I think, late into the ranked grind when it showed up.

Should you grab Ann-Sivir-sary?

Real verdict: if you main Sivir this is worth hunting down. The VFX quality punches above what you’d expect. Compared to something like Pizza Delivery Sivir which leans full meme, Ann-Sivir-sary has a better balance between fun and actually looking good in game. Odyssey Sivir still exists as the more “serious” option if thats your thing, but for pure personality this one wins.

The Mythic tier classification means it earns the special treatment. New VFX on everything that matters, a recall that actually makes you want to watch it instead of tab out, and a splash that Jiunn Kuo and Kudos Productions clearly put effort into. For Sivir mains specifically this is S-tier. For people who play her occasionally in ARAM or when ADC gets autofilled, probably not worth chasing through the vault. But if you’ve been grinding ranked with Sivir and want something that stands out in the bot lane, keep an eye on when it rotates back. Fair warning, vault skins can take a while to cycle around again.

Been daily driving this when I pick Sivir and I keep coming back to it over her other options. The poke with Q just looks better with the streamer particles. That last ranked game where my support locked in Lulu and we just bulldozed lane prio from level 2, the skin made the whole thing feel like a highlight reel. Worth it for mains, skip it if you’re not committed to the champion.
