Prestige Mythmaker Sivir

First time I saw Prestige Mythmaker Sivir load into a game I thought someone modded their client. The gold and white color scheme on Sivir just reads different from anything else in her catalog. Been running this as my main Sivir skin since season 13 and honestly the prestige version fixes most of what I thought was mid about the base Mythmaker. Not gonna lie, the base Mythmaker felt like it was trying too hard with the reds. This one tones it down and lets the craftsmanship speak.

What the prestige treatment actually changes

So Sivir’s Q is where you notice it first. The boomerang blade picks up this bright golden trail that cuts across the lane clean. In teamfights when you’re throwing Q through the backline it leaves these shimmering particles that actually help you track the return path. Small thing but it matters when you’re trying to cs and poke at the same time in a busy lane.

W ricochet bounces carry a warm metallic sheen. Kinda feels like each bounce scatters gold dust across targets. The sound is subtle but satisfying, especially when you proc it into a minion wave and watch the whole wave light up. Played maybe 200 games with this skin and the W particles never got old.

E spell shield gets a refined barrier effect. White and gold geometric patterns wrap around Sivir when you pop it. Looks sharp. The visual clarity is actually better than base Mythmaker here because the prestige colors contrast harder against most Rift terrain. Could be wrong here but I think the spell shield animation is slightly larger too, though thats probably just the brighter color tricking my eyes.

R is where Sivir skins usually fall flat because the on-the-hunt buff is hard to make exciting without Legendary-tier budget. The prestige version adds golden wisps trailing behind Sivir and nearby allies during the ult. Not groundbreaking but it feels good hitting R and seeing your whole comp light up gold before an engage. Last Tuesday I popped ult to chase down a Kayn through river and the particle trail through the fog looked clean.

The recall animation carries over from base Mythmaker but with the prestige palette. Sivir crafts her blade on a golden anvil. Solid recall. Voice lines stay base, no VO refresh, which is expected for a Mythic tier skin.

The Mythmaker line and where Sivir fits

Mythmaker dropped January 12, 2023. Late into the Lunar New Year cycle for that season. Jennifer Wuestling nailed the splash, the composition puts Sivir front and center with this divine artisan energy that fits the skinline perfectly. The Mythmaker theme pulls from celestial forge mythology and Sivir’s whole identity as a mercenary with a legendary weapon slots right in.

The Mythmaker line had some strong entries that patch. Irelia got one, Sivir got base plus prestige. The prestige version swaps the bold reds and blacks for white, gold, and cream. Standard prestige color treatment but it works here because Sivir’s silhouette is distinctive enough that the lighter palette doesnt wash her out. Some prestige skins lose champion identity in the gold. This one keeps it.

Pricing is Special since this is a Mythic skin. You couldnt just buy it with RP straight up. Back in season 13 you needed Mythic Essence to grab it, which meant either grinding event passes or getting lucky with capsules. Legacy vault skin now, so hextech only these days unless Riot rotates it back into the Mythic shop.

Should you track this down?

Real verdict: if you main Sivir this is arguably her cleanest skin. The VFX are tight, the color palette is unique in her lineup, and the prestige treatment genuinely elevates the base Mythmaker design. Been maining Sivir with this in Diamond and the skin feels crisp to play. Auto attacks have good visual feedback, abilities read well in lane and in chaotic teamfights.

Fair warning though. Getting it now is rough. Legacy availability means you’re at the mercy of the Mythic shop rotation or loot drops. I think I’ve seen maybe two other people running this skin in my ranked games all season. Most Sivir players default to Pizza Delivery or Odyssey because those are permanent shop. If you care about having something rare on your ADC pick, Prestige Mythmaker Sivir delivers.

Compared to base Mythmaker Sivir the prestige is the better version. Not even close. The gold reads cleaner than the red, the VFX pop harder against Summoner’s Rift terrain, and it has that rare factor. Against her other skins, it competes with Odyssey for best overall but wins on exclusivity. Solar Eclipse is solid too but different vibe entirely. For Sivir mains who want the premium option and can get their hands on it, this is the one. S-tier Sivir cosmetic. Might be overthinking it but I genuinely believe this is one of the better prestige skins Riot put out in 2023. Worth the grind if you can still find it.
