Furyhorn Cosplay Veigar

First time I saw Furyhorn Cosplay Veigar load into my game I genuinely thought someone was trolling. An April Fools drop that actually slaps? Riot pulled a fast one. The little guy is wearing a full Furyhorn onesie and waddling around the Rift like he owns the place. Played maybe 30 games with this skin the week it came out and honestly it never got old. Something about nuking a fed Katarina with a tiny yordle in a monster costume just hits different.

What Furyhorn Cosplay Veigar actually brings

So the whole concept is Veigar dressed up as a Furyhorn from Teamfight Tactics. Kinda feels like Riot just wanted to see how far they could push the cute factor on the most evil yordle in the game. The model swap is clean. Full onesie, little horn sticking out of his hat, stubby wings on his back. The staff got reworked into this oversized candy-looking thing that reads well in lane.

VFX are where this Epic skin earns its keep. Q shoots out these sparkly projectiles that feel lighter than base Veigar. The W drop zone – you know, the one that deletes people pre-6 if they dont respect your lane prio – has this cute starburst effect. E cage keeps the dark energy vibe but with added particle flair around the edges. Ult impact is satisfying. Big chunky burst of color when you proc the execute on some poor backline ADC who thought they were safe.

New recall animation too. Veigar does this little dance with the Furyhorn theme going on. Been spamming the recall in Diamond games just to tilt people after clearing a wave. Not sure if it’s just me but the recall feels faster to cancel than other skins, which is useful when you need to bait a gank.

Voice lines stay base. No new VO on this one. Standard for a 1350 RP Epic tier skin though, so no complaints there. Bob Beal’s original Veigar voice still carries enough personality that it works fine with the goofy model.

The Definitely Not skinline and release context

Furyhorn Cosplay Veigar dropped April 1, 2020. April Fools skin. The Definitely Not line has always been Riot’s playground for joke skins and this one fits right in. Horace ‘Hozure’ Hsu nailed the splash – Veigar looking menacing while wearing the most ridiculous outfit possible. That contrast is the whole appeal.

8 chromas total if you want variety. Tanzanite is my personal pick, the deep purple keeps Veigar’s dark mage fantasy alive even in a onesie. Obsidian goes full edgelord which is hilarious on a cosplay skin. Pearl exists for the people who want maximum clean aesthetic. (Random aside: I use the Tanzanite chroma as my desktop wallpaper and nobody at work has questioned it yet.)

Shop has it. Permanent availability at 1350 RP. No vault nonsense, no loot exclusive gatekeeping. Could be wrong here but I think the chroma bundle went on sale around the anniversary event last year, season 13 or maybe early 14.

Should you buy Furyhorn Cosplay Veigar?

Real verdict: this is a top three Veigar skin. Final Boss Veigar gets the Legendary crown obviously, but Furyhorn Cosplay sits comfortably in that next tier. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. The VFX refresh is noticeable, the model is unique enough to stand out in teamfights, and the whole package just works.

Had this in rotation for about two seasons now. Keep coming back to it when I want something lighter than Elderwood or less tryhard than Final Boss. Last Tuesday around 2 AM I was grinding ranked and locked in Furyhorn Cosplay four games straight. Won three. Correlation isnt causation but I’m not switching.

Skip this if you only play Veigar for the evil mage fantasy and cant handle looking silly. For everyone else who mains the little guy and wants to oneshot people while wearing a onesie – this is the one. Real talk though, if you’re a Veigar one-trick you probably already own it. The champion has maybe five genuinely good skins and this competes for the second slot. Worth 1350 if you main Veigar. Simple change from base – huge impact on how fun the games feel.
