Prestige Bewitching Miss Fortune

Halloween skins in League are usually hit or miss but the Bewitching line consistently delivers. Prestige Bewitching Miss Fortune released October 24, 2019 and it takes the base Bewitching skin’s witch aesthetic and gives it the gold and white Prestige treatment. The result looks like a glamorous enchantress rather than a spooky witch which is a vibe some people love and others wish stayed darker. I am in the first camp.

Glamour witch at 1350 yards

The model redesigns Miss Fortune in this white and gold witch outfit with flowing cape, witch hat, and magical guns. Sanhua Chen and Kudos Productions did the splash showing her in a haunted setting with golden magical effects swirling around. The Prestige gold elevates the base Bewitching design from “fun Halloween skin” to “premium cosmetic.”

Double Up on Q bounces between targets with golden magical bullet particles. The bounce projectile has a trail of golden sparkles. Strut on W activates with a golden aura boost. Make It Rain on E drops a zone of golden magical rain with small pumpkin-adjacent particle effects retained from the Bewitching theme. The contrast between Halloween theming and Prestige gold is weird on paper but it works visually.

Bullet Time on R unleashes a barrage of golden magical bullets across a cone. The channel animation has Miss Fortune dual-wielding her enchanted guns with golden streams of fire covering the area. Using R in a teamfight choke near dragon or baron paints the ground gold for a couple seconds. Played a game around 11 PM on actual Halloween night once with this skin equipped and it felt thematically appropriate in a way I cannot fully explain. The R channel is where this skin really justifies itself visually. Three or four enemies caught in the cone and the screen just fills with golden particle effects. Hit a 4-man R at soul drake last week and my support typed “that looked expensive” in chat which, fair.

Mythic tier and Legacy status

Prestige Bewitching Miss Fortune is Mythic tier with Special pricing. Released October 24, 2019. Legacy availability meaning it cycles in and out of accessibility. Part of the Bewitching skinline. No chromas. No new voice lines – standard Miss Fortune voice applies. The original acquisition was through a Worlds 2019 event pass I believe.

Should Miss Fortune players chase this

Miss Fortune has an enormous skin catalog. Gun Goddess at Ultimate tier. Battle Bunny at Legendary. Multiple Bewitching versions including a 2022 Prestige. Porcelain is recent and popular. In that crowded field, Prestige Bewitching occupies a niche: the gold Halloween option.

If you play Miss Fortune regularly and the Prestige gold witch look appeals to you, its a good skin that delivers on its specific aesthetic promise. If you want the absolute best MF skin for ranked gameplay feel, Battle Bunny or Gun Goddess probably edge it out. This one is more about style preference than raw quality. And honestly thats fine. Sometimes you want to play the gold witch. Could be wrong but I think thats a perfectly valid reason to spend Mythic Essence.

Not gonna lie, I switch between this and Porcelain depending on my mood but the Prestige Bewitching always comes back into rotation around October for obvious reasons. The loading screen border and Prestige branding in the splash give it that collector energy in champ select. (sidebar: the original event pass grind for this was brutal if I remember right, something like 2000 tokens) Thing is, MF skins are so stacked at this point that anything below Legendary tier needs a strong visual hook to stand out. The golden witch angle is exactly that kind of hook. Been daily driving this for support MF games specifically because the Q bounce particles in gold are genuinely satisfying to watch proc through a wave.
