Bewitching Skins
All 19 skins in the Bewitching skinline. Browse splash art, chromas, and detailed reviews for every Bewitching skin in League of Legends.
Bewitching is Riot's Halloween skinline and honestly one of the few seasonal themes that hasn't gotten stale after a decade. The whole vibe is witch-hat-and-candy aesthetic with purple and orange VFX everywhere, and it works because the champions they pick for it tend to already have that dark feminine energy. Been seeing these pop up every October since like season 2, and the line keeps growing. 19 skins deep now across 16 champions. Not sure if it's just me but this line hits harder than most of Riot's holiday stuff.

What Sets Bewitching Apart from Other Skinlines
The visual identity is strong. Every Bewitching skin shares a color palette rooted in deep purples, burnt oranges, and that specific shade of teal-green you only see on witch potions in cartoons. Splash arts lean into the Halloween party vibe hard. Witch hats, broomsticks, jack-o-lanterns, bat motifs. The consistency across 19 skins is actually impressive when you consider the line spans from 2011 all the way to 2022.
What ties everything together is the VFX treatment. Abilities get reworked with pumpkin particles, candy corn trails, bat swarms on crowd control effects. Compared to something like Coven, which goes full dark-fantasy serious, Bewitching keeps things playful. Spooky but fun. Think the difference between a horror movie and a haunted house at a county fair. Both Halloween themed, totally different energy.
The splashes are consistently good across the board. Most of them feature the champion at some kind of Halloween gathering or in a witchy setting with warm lighting. Theres a cohesion you dont always get with seasonal lines. Snow Day skins, for example, range from cozy to weird depending on the champion. Bewitching stays in its lane.
Kinda feels like Riot figured out early what worked with this theme and just kept iterating. The 2020-2022 batch especially shows refinement. Particle quality jumped up, chromas got more creative. The older entries like Bewitching Tristana and Bewitching Nidalee are simpler by comparison but they still read as part of the same family when you line them up.
Best Bewitching Skins Worth Picking Up
Bewitching Miss Fortune is probably the crown jewel of the line. The base Epic version already goes hard with the pumpkin-themed abilities and the witch hat, but then Riot went and made two Prestige versions of it. Two. That tells you how popular this skin is with the playerbase. The 2022 Prestige cleaned up the model and added more gold accents. Spammed it in ranked for most of that October and the auto attacks feel crisp. Could be wrong here but I think its the best Miss Fortune skin outside of Gun Goddess.
Bewitching Morgana deserves the spotlight too. She already has the dark sorceress fantasy baked into her kit, so putting her in a witch costume is almost too easy. But easy doesnt mean bad. The Q binding turns into this purple chain with bat particles, and her ult circle gets the full Halloween treatment. Plus she got a Prestige version, which tells you Riot knows this one sells. Been running this in support for a while now and it gets compliments in lobby chat.
Bewitching Syndra is a sleeper pick. Her spheres become little pumpkins and watching six pumpkins slam into someone with R is genuinely funny every single time. The recall animation where she juggles them is clean. (Random aside: I've used the Syndra pumpkin ult as my Discord profile banner since it dropped.)
Bewitching Elise fits perfectly. Spider queen in a witch outfit. The spider form gets a great reskin with purple and orange accents on the spiderlings. Played maybe 40 games of Bewitching Elise jungle last season and the ganking animations look fantastic from the enemy perspective based on replays.
Real talk though, Bewitching LeBlanc might be the most underrated entry. Her W dash leaves pumpkin particles on the ground and the clone gets the full costume treatment. In Diamond games where people are actually watching for LeBlanc's clone, having a flashy skin can actually mess with reads for half a second. Small edge. Probably doesnt matter. But it feels like it does at 1 AM.
The Bewitching Champion Roster
16 champions in the Bewitching lineup. Not gonna lie, most of them make sense thematically. The line leans heavily into female champions with magical kits, which fits the witch aesthetic. Morgana, Syndra, LeBlanc, Cassiopeia, Elise. All natural fits. Dark magic users getting witch costumes is obvious but it works.
Then you have some picks that surprised me. Fiora in a witch outfit? Seemed weird when they announced it. But the execution landed. The fencing-meets-broomstick energy in the splash actually works, and her vitals get pumpkin indicators. Poppy was another unexpected one. The yordle with a giant hammer in a cute witch costume. Adorable. The W shield pops with candy effects. My duo partner mains Poppy and locked in that skin exclusively from October through January.
Nami and Janna both got Bewitching skins and they fit the enchanter-witch crossover perfectly. Yuumi too, though Yuumi in any costume is just a cat in a hat. Still cute. Neeko rounds out the roster with her shapeshifting adding an extra layer to the costume theme.
Who's missing? Lissandra would be an obvious add. Ice witch already, just swap the color palette. Karma could work. Maybe just my experience but I think Vex would be perfect for Bewitching given her whole gloomy personality. Surprised she hasn't gotten one yet. Anivia got "Bewitching Batnivia" which is honestly a top-tier skin name. Bat plus Anivia. Genius.
Tier Breakdown and Pricing
The Bewitching line is dominated by Epic tier skins. 14 out of 19 are Epics at 1350 RP. Three Mythic entries, all Prestige versions. Two Standard skins from the earlier releases at 975 RP. No Legendaries.
That last part stings a bit. Could be coping but I think a Legendary Bewitching skin with full VO changes would be incredible. Imagine Bewitching Morgana with witch-themed voice lines. Or Bewitching Elise with different voice acting between human and spider form. The line feels like it's one Legendary away from being truly elite.
Price range sits between 975 and 1350 RP for the purchasable ones. The Prestiges obviously require event passes or Mythic Essence. For what you get at 1350, Bewitching skins deliver. New models, new VFX, new recall animations. Standard seasonal package but executed well. The two 975 RP entries are older and simpler but they were solid for their time.
If you're climbing ranked and want a Halloween skin that doesnt distract you with over-the-top particles, most Bewitching Epics hit that sweet spot. Clean enough to read abilities, flashy enough to feel premium. Fair price for the package across the board.
The Prestige skins add gold and white recolors to the base Bewitching versions. Miss Fortune got two Prestige treatments which is rare for any skinline. Morgana's Prestige is arguably the cleanest of the three. Worth grinding the event for if you're a Morgana main. Not gonna lie, I burned through an entire event pass in like three days for that one back in season 12.
Honestly the lack of a Legendary keeps the line accessible. You're never looking at 1820 RP for a Bewitching skin. Everything is 1350 or below on the regular shop side. That makes it easy to collect multiple entries without feeling like your wallet got teamfighted. Picked up four of them during one of those October sales in 2021 or maybe 2022, dont remember exactly. Point is, the whole set is reasonably priced for what Riot charges these days.
One thing I noticed after playing with several Bewitching skins across different roles: they read well on the Rift. The purple and orange particles pop against Summoner's Rift's green-blue background. In lane specifically, Bewitching Syndra's pumpkin spheres are immediately recognizable, and Bewitching Senna's Q heal has that distinct orange glow that your ADC can track easily in a chaotic teamfight. Good visual clarity for a cosmetic line. Some skinlines (looking at you, Prestige gold chromas) blend into ability noise. Bewitching stays readable.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many Bewitching skins are there?
19 Bewitching skins total as of 2022. That covers 16 different champions since Miss Fortune has her base Epic plus two separate Prestige versions, and Morgana has her Epic plus one Prestige. The line has been growing steadily since 2011 with new additions dropping every October. Solid roster for a seasonal theme.
What is the best Bewitching skin?
Bewitching Miss Fortune is the standout for most players. The pumpkin-themed abilities look great and Riot clearly agrees since they made two Prestige versions of it. Bewitching Morgana is a close second, especially the Prestige. For pure fun factor, Bewitching Syndra with the pumpkin spheres is hard to beat. Personal preference matters here but MF takes it.
Which champions have Bewitching skins?
16 champions are in the Bewitching lineup. The roster includes LeBlanc, Tristana, Miss Fortune, Morgana, Anivia (as Batnivia), Janna, Elise, Cassiopeia, Nidalee, Poppy, Fiora, Syndra, Senna, Nami, Yuumi, and Neeko. Heavy lean toward mages and enchanters which fits the witch theme naturally.
Does Bewitching have Legendary skins?
No Legendary skins in the Bewitching line yet. The highest tier entries are three Mythic (Prestige) versions for Miss Fortune and Morgana. Everything else sits at Epic (1350 RP) or Standard (975 RP). Kinda feels like a missed opportunity honestly. A Legendary with new voice lines would push this line to the next level.
When did the Bewitching skinline release?
First Bewitching skins dropped in 2011, making it one of the older seasonal lines in League. The line kept getting additions through 2022 with new batches most Octobers. That's over a decade of Halloween content. Early entries were simpler 975 RP skins, later ones got the full 1350 RP Epic treatment with better particles.
Are Bewitching skins worth buying?
If you main any of the 16 champions in the roster, yeah. The Epic tier entries at 1350 RP deliver solid value with new models, VFX, and recall animations. The Halloween aesthetic stays fun year-round, not just October. I've been locking in Bewitching skins outside of spooky season and they still look clean on the Rift. Worth it for mains.
Do Bewitching skins have chromas?
Several of the newer Bewitching skins have chromas available. The 2020-2022 releases especially came with chroma bundles. Older entries from 2011-2016 generally dont have chromas since Riot wasnt doing them consistently back then. The chroma options tend to swap the purple-orange palette for different color combos while keeping the witch theme intact.
Will Riot make more Bewitching skins?
Likely yes. Bewitching has gotten new additions almost every October since its debut and it's one of Riot's most popular seasonal lines. Champions like Lissandra, Vex, and Karma feel like natural fits that haven't been tapped yet. The line sells well based on how many Prestige versions they've made, so more entries seem like a safe bet.
