High Noon Evelynn

First game I played with High Noon Evelynn was around 1 AM on a Wednesday, freshly dropped in patch 14.6. Locked her in, loaded up, and the splash alone had me sold before minions spawned. Evelynn as a demonic gunslinger from the High Noon universe just works. Not sure if it’s just me but something about the western horror vibe fits her kit better than half her other skins.

What High Noon Evelynn actually brings to the table

New VFX across the board. Her Q lashers come out with this dusty amber trail that reads really clean against the Rift, especially in river fights. The hate spikes feel snappier visually even though the timing is identical. W charm buildup has this burning brand effect, like you’re literally marking someone for a duel at high noon. Solid touch.

E is where it gets interesting. The whiplash animation carries a fiery crack that pops harder than base. Been running this in Diamond for a couple months now and the empowered E specifically feels more satisfying to land, even though thats just placebo from the VFX. Ult sends Evelynn diving backward through a cloud of hellfire dust. Clean execution for an Epic tier skin.

Recall animation is new too. She does this whole dramatic western standoff pose. Worth watching at least once before you skip it to get back to lane. Voice lines stay base, no new VO, which is standard for 1350 RP. Honestly the base Evelynn voice from Mara Junot still holds up so its not a big loss.

(Random aside: my duo partner refuses to play with me when I use this skin because “the charm VFX is distracting.” Sure buddy, thats why you walked into it.)

The High Noon line and where Evelynn fits

High Noon Evelynn released March 20, 2024. Season 14. Pandart Studio handled the artwork and they captured the vibe perfectly. The splash has her standing in this burning saloon doorway, lashers out, looking like she’s about to collect someone’s soul for a poker debt.

The High Noon skinline is one of Riot’s most consistent themes. Evelynn joins a roster that includes Thresh, Senna, Lucian, and a bunch of others. She fits the demon side of the line, not the angelic gunslinger side. Makes sense for a champion whose whole identity is hunting people from stealth.

10 chromas available for this one. Obsidian is my go-to, the dark colorway makes her stealth form blend even harder into the map which I think gives a slight visual edge. Tanzanite hits this deep purple that reads more like a classic Evelynn color. Noonday is the unique one with a blue and pink split that stands out from the standard palette. Rest are solid but those three carry the set for me.

Could be wrong here but I feel like the Vendetta chroma was meant for event pass grinders specifically. Green and gold is a bold choice on Evelynn. Seen maybe two people use it in my games all season.

Is 1350 RP worth it for High Noon Evelynn?

Real verdict: this is a strong Epic skin. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. New VFX on every ability, solid recall, a theme that actually complements Evelynn’s assassin fantasy. Played maybe 150 games with this since March and it hasnt left my rotation.

If you already own Coven Evelynn or K/DA All Out, this is a harder sell. Coven has the edge on overall atmosphere, and All Out has the pop music energy. But High Noon fills a completely different niche. Western horror Evelynn is something I didnt know I wanted until Riot dropped it.

For Evelynn mains climbing through ranked, this skin reads well in teamfights. The Q particles are distinct enough that you can track your damage in chaotic 5v5s around baron pit. Last week I had a game where I flanked their backline from behind dragon wall – the ult VFX on the exit looked genuinely cinematic in the replay.

Shop has it. Permanent availability. Skip it if you’re not an Evelynn player, but if you main her or even have her in your jungle pool for when you get autofilled, High Noon Evelynn is a top three skin for the champion. Maybe just my experience but it feels like Riot put extra care into this batch. Worth the RP if you main Evelynn.
