Faerie Court Ezreal

First game I played with Faerie Court Ezreal was around 1 AM on a Tuesday, queued into a Diamond lobby where my support locked in Yuumi. Figured if the lane was going to be rough I might as well look good losing it. Honestly not gonna lie, the skin hit way harder than I expected for an Epic tier. Ezreal in fae knight armor with those soft purple and gold tones – it reads cleanly on the Rift even during chaotic teamfights. The whole vibe is royal but not overdone.

What Faerie Court actually changes on Ezreal

New VFX across the board. Q fires a crystalline bolt that trails these faint petal particles, and it feels satisfying to poke with in lane. The W mark has a floral ring effect that pops when you proc it with Q or E. Played maybe 40 games with this and the W-Q combo just looks cleaner than base Ezreal by a mile.

E blink leaves behind a burst of fae dust. Quick. Subtle. But you notice it when you’re using E to dodge ganks or reposition in a teamfight. R is where Riot put the real work – Trueshot Barrage fires this massive golden beam wrapped in flower petals that stretches across the map. Seen it snipe people from fountain and the kill cam looks gorgeous every time.

New recall animation too. Ezreal kneels with his gauntlet raised like hes swearing some kind of oath, butterflies circling around him. Fits the Faerie Court fantasy. Voice lines stay base though, no new VO. Standard for a 1350 RP skin but I think the VFX carry this one hard enough that you dont really miss it.

The Faerie Court line and release details

Faerie Court dropped March 23, 2023. Late into season 13. Exia Xiaotong and West Studio handled the splash art, and they captured Ezreal looking like a legitimate fae prince rather than some generic pretty boy. The splash has him mid-cast with that crystalline gauntlet glowing, butterflies everywhere. Could be wrong here but I think its one of the better Ezreal splashes period.

The Faerie Court skinline is one of Riot’s more cohesive themes. Kalista, Katarina, Fiora, and a few others share the line. Ezreal fits naturally into the courtly knight role. Kinda feels like Riot designed the whole set around champions who already have that elegant fighter energy.

9 chromas total. Obsidian is the standout for me – goes full dark knight and the contrast against the fae VFX is chef’s kiss. Tanzanite pushes the purple deeper which reads well on Ezreal specifically. Rose Quartz leans into the pink and honestly looks better than I expected. (Random aside: the Winsome chroma with its split purple-teal might be the most slept on one in the whole set.) Not going to list every single chroma because at 9 options you just need to scroll through them yourself and pick what vibes with you.

Is Faerie Court Ezreal worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: if you main Ezreal this is an easy buy. Been running this in ranked for multiple seasons now and it still holds up. The VFX are clean without being distracting, the model looks sharp, and theres enough chroma variety to keep it fresh. For 1350 RP you’re getting solid value.

Where it sits in the Ezreal skin lineup – I’d put it behind Star Guardian for pure spectacle and maybe behind Battle Academia for the complete package, but Faerie Court competes with everything else. Top pick for Ezreal mains who want something that looks premium without dropping Legendary money. Still in the shop, grab it whenever. Spammed this in Diamond last split and nobody ever complained about the particles cluttering their screen, which is more than I can say for some of the flashier ADC skins out there. Season 13 or 14 dont remember exactly when I started defaulting to it, but Faerie Court Ezreal has been my go-to since.

Skip it if you already own three or four Ezreal skins and feel covered. But if you’re looking for one clean Epic to round out the collection, this is the one. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get.
