First time I saw Debonair Ezreal load in, I thought someone modded a dating sim character into my ranked game. Ezreal in a white tuxedo with a rose tucked into his lapel. Not what you expect from a guy spamming Q down bot lane at 2 AM. Been running this skin on and off since season 5 and honestly its got a charm that holds up even now.
What Debonair Ezreal actually changes
This is a Standard tier skin at 750 RP so keep expectations realistic. You get a full model swap and thats basically it. No new VFX on his Q or W, no updated particles on his ult. Voice lines stay base. No recall animation change either.
But the model itself? Clean. Ezreal trades his explorer gear for a fitted white suit, black dress shoes, and that signature red rose. The gauntlet on his arm gets a sleeker look that fits the formal theme. Kinda feels like Riot took the “pretty boy ADC” meme and leaned all the way into it. In teamfights you still read as Ezreal immediately, the silhouette doesn’t change enough to confuse anyone, but the color palette shift from gold-blue to white-black stands out on the Rift.
Not gonna lie, for a skin with zero VFX changes the model carries hard. The tuxedo reads well even at the zoomed-out camera angle you play at. Some older 750 RP skins look muddy in actual gameplay but Debonair Ezreal stays crisp. Played maybe 40 games with it last month in Diamond and I never felt like I was missing particles or effects. The base Ezreal VFX layer over the white suit surprisingly well.
The Debonair line and release context
Debonair Ezreal dropped August 5, 2014. Sperasoft Studio handled the artwork and they captured that suave energy perfectly. (Random aside: the splash is genuinely one of my favorite Ezreal pieces, he looks like he’s about to order a martini mid-lane phase.)
The Debonair skinline is one of Riot’s classier themes. Galio, Vi, Jayce, Malzahar, Brand, Zed, Leona, Draven all got Debonair treatments over the years. Ezreal fits it naturally since his character already leans into that confident pretty-boy archetype. The Debonair line got a massive 2.0 upgrade in 2021 with new skins at higher price points but this original 2014 version keeps its own identity.
8 chromas total for Debonair Ezreal. Obsidian goes full dark suit which honestly reads better in ranked than the white base, gives him that secret agent vibe. Amethyst swaps to a purple palette that hits the mage fantasy harder. Ruby is the standard red variant, fine but not my pick. Could be wrong here but I think the Obsidian chroma is the reason this skin stays in my rotation over some of Ezreal’s flashier options.
Should you buy Debonair Ezreal?
Real verdict: 750 RP feels fair for what you get. You’re not getting new particles or a custom recall. You’re getting a sharp model swap with a great splash and 8 chromas to play around with. For Ezreal mains climbing through ranked this season who want something clean without the visual noise of Star Guardian or Battle Academia, Debonair is the quiet pick.
Shop has it, permanent availability. If you’re an Ezreal one-trick you probably already own this from a chest or something. If you dont, it’s worth grabbing next time you have leftover RP. Skip it if you need flashy VFX to justify a purchase – been saying this in my Diamond games for years and I stand by it. Simple change, huge impact on the vibe. Not the best Ezreal skin full stop, but top three for the price range easy.
