Debonair Draven

First time I saw Debonair Draven load in, I thought Riot finally gave this man the respect he deserves. Draven already walks around the Rift like he owns the place, so putting him in a white suit with gold trim and slicked-back hair just feels right. Played maybe 30 games with this the week it dropped and honestly wasnt disappointed. The whole vibe is chef’s kiss for an ADC who wants to style on people in lane.

What Debonair Draven actually brings to the table

For an Epic skin at 1350 RP, you get the full package here. New model with the suit, new VFX on every ability, and a new recall animation. No new voice lines though. Voice stays default, which is fine because Erik Braa’s Draven VO is already iconic enough that changing it would feel wrong.

The Q spinning axes get this green crystalline effect that looks clean against basically any map backdrop. Not sure if it’s just me but the axes feel more visible in teamfights compared to base Draven. The W blood rush has a subtle green trail, and the E stand aside throws out these emerald shards. His R whirlwind axes leave a bright green wake behind them as they cross the map. Been running this in Diamond ranked and the ult VFX specifically look great when you snipe someone across bot lane from river.

The recall is where the personality shines. Draven pours himself a drink, does his thing. Short and clean. Fits the fantasy of a guy who just got a pentakill and doesnt even care. (Random aside: my duo partner refuses to play with me when I use this skin because “it makes you play more aggressively” and honestly he might be right.)

Model-wise the white and green color scheme reads really well. The suit jacket, the gloves, the styled hair. Draven looks like he walked out of a casino heist movie. The spinning axes themselves are redesigned into these elegant crystalline blades that match the Debonair aesthetic perfectly.

The Debonair line and release context

Debonair Draven dropped December 9, 2021. Late season 11. Marie Magny and West Studio handled the artwork, and they captured something special with the splash. Draven leaning back with that confident smirk, axes floating around him. Peak character energy.

The Debonair skinline got a full rework that patch cycle. Went from the old budget Debonair skins (remember Debonair Ezreal and Jayce?) to this premium villain-coded lineup. Draven fits the Debonair theme naturally because the champion already has that arrogant showman personality baked in. Kinda feels like this skinline was designed with Draven in mind first and everyone else second.

9 chromas total for this one. Obsidian is my personal favorite, goes full dark suit energy which hits different for those late night ranked sessions around 1 AM. Sapphire gives you a clean blue look that reads almost royal. Cerulean Club is the event-exclusive one and its actually worth grabbing if you can find it. Not gonna list all nine because at that point just check the shop, but Ruby and Tanzanite are solid picks too.

Is Debonair Draven worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: if you play Draven at all, this is a top three skin for him. Maybe top two. The competition is stiff because Draven has some bangers in his catalog. Fright Night goes horror, La Ilusion goes flashy, but Debonair hits this sweet spot of clean and stylish without being over the top.

1350 RP feels fair for what you get. New VFX, solid model, good recall. Standard Epic pricing. Still in the shop, no vault nonsense, grab it whenever.

Could be wrong here but I think this skin ages well too. The design isnt tied to some seasonal gimmick or event theme that’ll feel dated in two years. Its just Draven in a suit throwing fancy axes. Simple change – huge impact. Been daily driving this and Soul Reaver as my two Draven skins all of season 12 and into 13, and Debonair gets more lock-ins from me when I’m feeling confident in my lane matchup. Something about the suit energy makes you want to go for the flashy plays, catch every axe, style on their support pre-6. Worth it for Draven mains, solid pickup for anyone who plays ADC and wants to add him to the comp rotation.
