Draven Skins
14 skins availableDraven's skin catalog is one of those collections where Riot clearly knew what they were doing with the character fantasy. 14 skins spanning from 2012 to 2025, and most of them lean hard into the showman angle that makes Draven fun to play in the first place. Been maining him on and off since season 3, and I think his cosmetic lineup is stronger than most ADC players give it credit for. Not every skin is a banger, but the ratio of good to forgettable is better than you'd expect for a champion who's been around this long. The grid below has all 14 laid out, so take a look before I break down what's actually worth your RP.

How Draven's Skin Collection Shaped Up Over the Years
Soul Reaver Draven dropped alongside his release back in 2012. That skin set the bar early. Dark fantasy vibe, spinning axes that look like they're ripping through the Rift. For a launch skin it still holds up surprisingly well, and I remember locking it in during season 3 when I first picked up Draven in ranked.
From there Riot gave him a steady drip of skins across the years. The Standard tier stuff like Gladiator Draven and Beast Hunter Draven are fine for budget picks but nothing that'll make you feel different in lane. Draven Draven is a meme skin from April Fools and honestly thats the entire appeal. Giant Draven head bobbling around while you catch axes. Hilarious for normals, wouldnt bring it into a serious ranked session.
The real meat of his collection sits in the Epic tier. Eight Epics total, which is a lot for 14 skins. Mecha Kingdoms from 2020, Ruined from the Sentinels event, Fright Night, La Ilusión, and Grand Reckoning from 2025 being the newest addition. Could be wrong here but I think Draven gets more attention from the skins team than his play rate would suggest. Riot just loves designing for him because the spinning axe fantasy gives artists so much to work with on particles.
Then there's Primetime Draven. His only Legendary. Priced at 975 RP which is wild because Legendaries these days cost 1820. It was a special release, basically Draven as a sports commentator. New VO, new animations, the whole package. Season 4 era if I remember right. The price point makes it the cheapest Legendary in the game technically, and it still has unique voice lines that crack me up in the middle of a teamfight. "Welcome to the League of Draven" hits different when he's wearing a suit.
Kinda feels like the collection peaked around 2020-2022 with Mecha Kingdoms, Ruined, and Debonair all landing within a couple years of each other. Three solid Epics in quick succession. The skinline diversity is there too. Pool Party for summer vibes, Santa Draven for Snowdown, Death Sworn for the edgy players. Not a bad spread across 13 years of content.
Best Skins for Draven
Primetime Draven first. No question. Yeah the model looks dated compared to 2024 skins but the VO carries everything. Unique voice lines that reference League itself, sports commentary callouts when you kill someone, and the recall animation is genuinely funny. Played maybe 300 games with this skin across multiple seasons and the voice lines never get old. The axes have a subtle gold trim that reads clean during laning phase. For 975 RP you're getting what should cost 1820. Best value in his entire catalog.
Soul Reaver Draven still hits hard. The dark purple and black color scheme transforms his axes into these wicked looking soul blades. Q particles pop nicely, the W speed boost has a ghostly trail, and the ult (R) sends two massive dark crescents across the map that feel heavier than base. Been running this in Diamond games since forever and it still looks premium. The splash art is iconic too. (Random aside: I used the Soul Reaver splash as my Discord avatar for like two years straight.)
Mecha Kingdoms Draven is the flashiest Epic he's got. Full mecha redesign, the axes become these glowing tech weapons, and the recall has him piloting a mech. The E knockback looks especially clean with the mecha particles. Real talk though, the skin can feel a bit visually noisy during chaotic teamfights. If you're the type who needs clean readability on your axes, might not be ideal. But for style points it's S-tier.
Santa Draven. Snowdown Showdown line. Throwing candy cane axes at people in bot lane. The R sends two giant candy canes flying across the map. Ridiculous. Fun. Legacy vault skin so you cant just grab it whenever. Had this drop from a chest last season and honestly its one of my most-used Draven skins now. The holiday theme shouldnt work as well as it does but Riot nailed the particle recolors on this one.
Ruined Draven from the Sentinels of Light event deserves a mention. The corruption VFX on his axes look genuinely threatening. Green and black palette, ruined armor, spectral particles on Q catch. Not sure if it's just me but Ruined Draven's auto attack animations feel slightly smoother than base. Probably placebo but I'll take it. Solid Epic at 1350 RP that fits the edgier side of his personality.
Skinlines and Thematic Fits
Draven shows up in a bunch of skinlines and some fit him way better than others. Mecha Kingdoms is probably the strongest thematic match. Draven as this arrogant mech pilot who thinks he's the greatest warrior in the kingdom? Writes itself. The whole skinline revolves around powerful warriors and Draven's ego slots right into that fantasy without forcing anything.
Pool Party Draven works because of the humor angle. Dude's throwing beach balls or pool toys, flexing on the Rift in swim trunks. It leans into Draven's personality without trying to make him something he's not. Same energy as Draven Draven from the Definitely Not / April Fools line. These comedy skins work specifically because Draven already thinks he's the main character. The joke lands naturally.
Death Sworn is more generic. Dark spectral theme, could be any champion honestly. It's fine but doesnt capture what makes Draven unique the way Soul Reaver does with similar dark fantasy vibes. Prehistoric Hunters (Beast Hunter) is probably the weakest thematic fit. Draven as a caveman hunter throwing bone axes. Feels forced. The skin exists and that's about all I can say for it.
Snowdown Showdown through Santa Draven is surprisingly strong. The holiday line gave him personality-appropriate axes and the Legacy status actually makes it feel special when you see one in your games. Maybe three times this entire split I've seen a Santa Draven in bot lane. Might be overthinking it but the scarcity adds to the appeal. Fright Night and La Ilusión from 2022-2023 are newer additions that show Riot still experimenting with different vibes for him. Good sign for future skins.
Budget vs Premium Picks
Draven's price range runs from 500 RP up to 1350 for Epics, with the weird exception of Primetime at 975 for a Legendary. That pricing anomaly makes the budget conversation unusual for this champion specifically.
If you're climbing ranked and want bang for your buck, Primetime Draven at 975 RP is the answer. Full stop. You get Legendary-tier content (new VO, new animations, unique personality) for less than an Epic costs. No other Draven skin competes on value. Gladiator Draven at the Standard tier is decent if you literally just want something different from base without spending much. Clean design, Roman gladiator aesthetic, axes look solid.
For premium spenders the Epics are all 1350 RP. Mecha Kingdoms and Soul Reaver give you the most visual changes for that price. Spammed Mecha Kingdoms in my Diamond promos last split and the particle work alone justifies the cost. (Sidebar for Draven one-tricks: you already own five of these, dont pretend otherwise.) The newer Epics like Grand Reckoning from 2025 tend to have slightly better VFX quality just from engine improvements over the years, but the older ones like Soul Reaver have that classic charm. Honestly no bad choices at the 1350 tier for Draven.
Skip Beast Hunter and Draven Draven unless you're a collector or you think the meme is funny enough to justify the purchase. Neither changes enough to matter in actual gameplay feel.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many skins does Draven have?
14 skins total as of 2025. Mix of 5 Standards, 8 Epics, and 1 Legendary. Solid catalog for a champion released in 2012. Been getting roughly one new skin per year which is a decent pace. Grand Reckoning Draven is the most recent drop from 2025.
What is the best Draven skin?
Primetime Draven for value and personality. Unique VO, new animations, sports commentator theme. Costs 975 RP which is absurd for a Legendary. If you want pure visual impact, Soul Reaver or Mecha Kingdoms are the picks. Honestly cant go wrong with any of those three.
What is the cheapest Draven skin?
Gladiator Draven and a couple other Standards sit at the low end around 500-750 RP range. But Primetime at 975 is technically the best deal since its a full Legendary with new VO for less than Epic pricing. Budget players should start there honestly.
Does Draven have a Legendary skin?
Yeah, one. Primetime Draven. It's a weird one because it costs 975 RP instead of the usual 1820. Released during an esports event, Draven as a sportscaster. New voice lines, new animations, completely different personality from base. Been waiting for a proper 1820 Legendary for years now. Feels overdue.
What skinlines is Draven in?
Bunch of them. Mecha Kingdoms, Pool Party, Snowdown Showdown, Death Sworn, Prehistoric Hunters, Definitely Not line with Draven Draven. Also Ruined from Sentinels, Debonair, Fright Night, and La Ilusión. He gets around. Mecha Kingdoms fits him best in my opinion.
Does Draven have chromas?
Several of his Epic skins have chromas available. Mecha Kingdoms, Ruined, Debonair, Fright Night, and the newer releases all got chroma sets. If you're into color variants theres plenty to work with. I usually stick to base or Obsidian variants when they exist. Clean look.
When was Draven's last skin released?
Grand Reckoning Draven in 2025. Most recent addition to his catalog. Before that was La Ilusión Draven. Riot's been keeping a pretty consistent cadence with Draven skins, roughly one per year give or take. Not gonna lie, they rarely miss with his releases.
Is Draven worth buying skins for?
If you play him regularly, absolutely. His spinning axe mechanic means you're constantly looking at your weapon particles and good skins make that experience way better. Primetime alone justifies the investment at 975 RP. For one-tricks I'd say grab Primetime plus one Epic you like and you're set for ranked.
