Faerie Court Skins

All 12 skins in the Faerie Court skinline. Browse splash art, chromas, and detailed reviews for every Faerie Court skin in League of Legends.

Faerie Court caught me off guard when Riot first dropped the teasers. I remember scrolling through Twitter around midnight, season 13, and thinking this looked like some mobile game collab. Then I saw the splashes up close. The pastels, the wings, the whole enchanted royalty vibe. It grew on me fast. Been running Faerie Court skins in my Diamond games for over a year now and the line has this soft elegance that nothing else in League really matches. Not Coven, not Crystal Rose. Faerie Court sits in its own lane visually, and with 12 skins across two drops, Riot clearly believed in the concept enough to keep expanding it.

What Sets Faerie Court Apart on the Rift

The color palette is what hits first. Soft lavenders, mint greens, rose golds, and these translucent butterfly-wing particle effects on basically every ability. Most skinlines in League lean dark or edgy. Coven goes gothic horror. Eclipse goes celestial warrior. Faerie Court said nah, we're doing fantasy royalty with flower petals and glitter. Bold move.

Not gonna lie, the shared VFX language across the line is tight. Every Faerie Court skin gets these shimmering particle trails on movement, and abilities have this crystalline shimmer layered over them. The recall animations all involve some variation of fairy wings, thrones, or enchanted flora. There's a cohesion here that some of Riot's other skinlines lack. Compare it to something like Arcana where each champion feels like a separate concept loosely tied by tarot cards. Faerie Court actually looks like every champion exists in the same world.

The splashes deserve their own mention. Whoever art directed these went hard on the stained-glass and Art Nouveau inspiration. Every splash has this painted quality with soft lighting and intricate costume detail. (Random aside: I used Faerie Queen Karma's splash as my desktop background for like three months straight and nobody at work questioned it.) The crowns, the jewelry, the flowing fabrics. It reads like high fantasy illustration, not typical League splash work.

Where Faerie Court stumbles a bit is variety. The theme is pretty narrow. Enchanted fae royalty only stretches so far before skins start blending together. When you have Soraka and Lux and Seraphine all in pastel fairy outfits, they can blur in the loading screen. Could be wrong here but I think thats partly why Riot added champions like Fiora and Kalista in the second wave. Needed some edge to balance out the softness.

Best Faerie Court Skins to Lock In

Faerie Queen Karma takes this and its not even close. The only Legendary in the line, 1820 RP, and it earns every point. New VO, completely reworked animations, her mantra forms have this gorgeous wing-spread effect that fills your screen. The Q in mantra form leaves behind a trail of crystallized petals. Been spamming this in Diamond support games and the visual feedback on R-Q is genuinely satisfying. You feel the empowered abilities more than base Karma. The recall has her sitting on a throne that materializes from vines and honestly its one of the best recall animations in the game period.

Prestige Faerie Court Katarina is the Mythic entry and it does what prestige skins do. Golden accents over the base Faerie Court model. I've seen maybe five of these in my games all season. Rare. The golden particle effects on her daggers look clean in teamfights though, I'll give it that. If you already main Kat and had the tokens back when it dropped, solid flex.

Faerie Court Fiora surprised me the most. Fiora's design translates well to the fae aesthetic because the rapier becomes this crystalline blade with butterfly wing guards. Her vitals proc with a petal burst thats actually visible in lane without being distracting. Played maybe 40 games of Fiora with this skin in ranked last season and the auto-attack animations feel crisp. Good skin for a splitpush champion that needed something elegant.

Faerie Court Kalista deserves a shoutout too. Might be overthinking it but Kalista getting a fairy skin when she's literally a vengeful specter is peak Riot humor. The contrast works though. Her spears become these thorned vines and the rend pull has flower particles. Spooky fae energy. Real talk though, not many people play Kalista outside of pro, so you'll be the only one running this in your games guaranteed.

Faerie Court Tristana rounds out my top picks. The cannon becomes a flower-shaped mortar and her W jump leaves a ring of petals on landing. Cute without being over the top. Good ADC skin if you want something lighter than the Omega Squad military vibe.

The Champion Roster and Who Fits

Twelve skins across two releases. The 2023 wave brought Karma, Katarina, Soraka, Tristana, and Ezreal. Then 2024 added Fiora, Lux, Seraphine, Kalista, Lillia, and Milio. Solid expansion.

Lillia is the most natural fit in the entire line. She's literally a fae creature in her base design. Giving her a Faerie Court skin is almost cheating. It works perfectly but it also feels like the obvious pick. Milio fits well too since his whole kit revolves around gentle protective magic. The fairy aesthetic maps onto his personality without forcing anything.

Soraka makes sense. Healer, stars, celestial vibes that translate easily into fairy magic. Lux makes sense because Lux gets everything and she fits most themes. Not a complaint, just reality. Seraphine also slots in naturally given her sparkly pop-star energy. Kinda feels like Riot played it safe with the roster overall. Lots of enchanters and mages who already lean pretty.

The ones that add real flavor are the outliers. Katarina, Fiora, Kalista. Assassins and fighters in fairy outfits. That tension between deadly gameplay and delicate aesthetics is where the line gets interesting. Who should be next? I'd love to see Faerie Court Evelynn. The seductive fae queen angle writes itself. Faerie Court Thresh could go hard too, dark fae energy with lantern as an enchanted lantern. Maybe just my experience but the line needs more champions that contrast with the soft theme.

Price Tiers and What You're Paying For

The lineup is heavily Epic tier. Ten of the twelve skins sit at 1350 RP. One Legendary at 1820 (Faerie Queen Karma) and one Mythic prestige (Katarina). No Standard or budget options. No Ultimate.

For the Epics you're getting new models, new VFX, new recall animations, but base voice lines. Standard 1350 package. The quality is consistent across all of them. None of the Epics feel like they got less attention than the others which is worth noting because in some skinlines you can clearly tell which champion the team cared about most and which ones were filler.

The Legendary carries the line from a value perspective. Faerie Queen Karma at 1820 RP has the new VO, the evolved animations, the whole package. If you're buying one Faerie Court skin, thats the one. 1350 feels fair for the Epics individually but I wouldn't recommend buying more than two or three unless you main multiple champions in the roster. They share enough visual DNA that owning all twelve would feel redundant in your collection. Pick your mains and move on.

Fair warning, the prestige Katarina is a loot-or-event skin. You cant just buy it in the shop for RP. Either you had the event pass tokens when it was live or you're rolling Hextech chests and praying. (Sidebar: I know three people who spent obscene amounts trying to roll prestige skins from chests. Dont be that person.)

Faerie Court Skinline FAQ

How many Faerie Court skins are there?

12 Faerie Court skins total as of 2024. The line launched in 2023 with five skins including Faerie Queen Karma as the Legendary. Second wave dropped in 2024 adding seven more champions. Riot might keep expanding it since the theme has room for more picks, but nothing confirmed yet.

What is the best Faerie Court skin?

Faerie Queen Karma and it isnt close. Only Legendary in the line, full new VO, completely reworked animations, the mantra abilities look incredible on the Rift. Been running it in ranked for months and the quality gap between this and the Epics is massive. Worth 1820 RP if you play Karma at all.

Which champions have Faerie Court skins?

Karma, Katarina, Soraka, Tristana, Ezreal, Lux, Fiora, Seraphine, Kalista, Lillia, and Milio. Eleven champions total across 12 skins since Katarina has both a base Epic and a Prestige version. Mix of enchanters, mages, and a few fighters thrown in for contrast.

Does Faerie Court have Legendary skins?

One Legendary. Faerie Queen Karma at 1820 RP with full new voice lines, unique animations, and reworked ability VFX. The rest of the line is Epic tier at 1350 RP plus one Mythic prestige for Katarina. No Ultimate tier skins in Faerie Court.

When did the Faerie Court skinline release?

First wave hit in 2023 during season 13. Karma, Katarina, Soraka, Tristana, and Ezreal were the originals. Second wave came 2024 with Fiora, Lux, Seraphine, Kalista, Lillia, and Milio. Two solid drops about a year apart. Felt like Riot was testing the waters first then committed.

Are Faerie Court skins worth buying?

If you main any champion in the roster, yeah. The Epic skins are solid 1350 RP value with clean VFX and good models. Faerie Queen Karma is a must-buy for Karma players. I wouldn't grab more than two or three though unless you really love the fairy aesthetic. They share enough visual DNA that collecting all twelve feels redundant.

Do Faerie Court skins have chromas?

Most of the Epic Faerie Court skins have chroma sets available. The usual lineup with Ruby, Obsidian, and a few unique color variants per skin. Prestige Katarina is already a color variant itself so no chromas on that one. Check each skin individually since chroma counts vary between champions.

Will Riot make more Faerie Court skins?

Could be wrong here but I think so. Two waves in two years shows Riot sees value in the theme. The roster still has obvious candidates missing. Evelynn, Thresh, Morgana would all fit the dark fae angle. No official announcements but the line feels like it has legs for at least one more batch.
