Faerie Court Seraphine

Been running Faerie Court Seraphine since it dropped in March 2023 and honestly not gonna lie, it caught me off guard. Seraphine already has a stacked skin wardrobe between Ocean Song and Graceful Phoenix, so I wasnt expecting Riot to nail another one this hard. But the fae aesthetic fits her kit in a way that feels natural. Not forced. Like she belongs in that world more than half the champions actually in the Faerie Court lineup.

What Faerie Court changes on Seraphine

For 1350 RP you’re getting the standard Epic package: new model, new VFX across all abilities, and a fresh recall animation. Voice lines stay base, no new VO. The model itself is gorgeous though. Seraphine floats around in this ethereal gown with butterfly wing motifs, and the color palette leans into soft lavender and gold. Her platform transforms into something that looks like a crystallized flower.

The Q sends out these shimmering fae particles that pop nicely against the Rift. Not sure if it’s just me but the W shield visual reads cleaner than base, which actually matters in teamfights when you’re trying to peel for your ADC and need to see the shield proc clearly. E roots look like vines made of light. Pretty. The R is where the skin earns its price tag. The wave pulses out with this trail of butterflies and sparkle effects that looks way more impactful than base Seraphine ult.

(Random aside: I used this ult to engage a 4-man in dragon pit last Thursday around midnight and my duo literally said “that looked cinematic.” He wasnt wrong.)

Recall animation has Seraphine conjuring little faerie creatures around her stage. Clean execution. Nothing groundbreaking for an Epic tier skin but solid across the board.

The Faerie Court line and who made this

Faerie Court released March 23, 2023. Mid season 13. Silvia Meiliani and Caravan Studio handled the artwork, and they captured the vibe perfectly. The splash positions Seraphine in this enchanted court setting with butterflies everywhere. Strong composition.

The Faerie Court skinline is one of Riot’s better thematic drops from recent years. Seraphine shares the line with Kalista, Katarina, Fiora, and a few others. Kinda feels like Seraphine got one of the better treatments in the set though. The theme synergizes with her musical fantasy in a way that works better than, say, Faerie Court on an assassin.

9 chromas total. Tanzanite is my go-to because the deep purple gives the whole skin a darker mystical feel that reads well in lane. Obsidian goes full dark fae energy which is cool if you want that edge. Winsome has this interesting lavender and teal split that might be the most unique of the bunch. Not gonna list all nine but Ruby and Aquamarine are also decent picks depending on your mood.

Should you buy Faerie Court Seraphine?

Real verdict: this is a strong Epic skin that competes with Ocean Song for the best Seraphine cosmetic at this price point. Been maining Seraphine with this skin for maybe 40 games in Diamond this season and the VFX clarity is legit good. You can track your abilities in chaotic late-game fights without squinting.

1350 RP feels fair for what you get. Shop has it, permanent availability, grab it whenever. If you’re a Seraphine one-trick you probably already own this. If you’re picking up Seraphine as a support flex for climbing, this or Ocean Song are your two best options. Could be wrong here but I think Faerie Court edges it out on VFX quality alone. The Q and R particles just hit different. Spammed this in ranked for two weeks straight and kept coming back to it over Star Guardian. S-tier Seraphine cosmetic. Simple change from base – huge impact on how the champion feels to play.
