SKT T1 Elise

Been running Elise jungle on and off since season 5, and SKT T1 Elise is one of those skins that carries more weight from the story behind it than from raw visual flex. Bengi’s championship pick immortalized in a skin. Not gonna lie, thats enough reason for some players to lock it in every game.

What SKT T1 Elise actually changes

For a 975 RP Standard tier skin, SKT T1 Elise does more than you’d expect. The model swap puts Elise in the SKT red, white, and black color scheme. Clean jersey-inspired design in human form. Spider form gets the same treatment with the SKT logo visible on the abdomen, which is a nice touch you notice during jungle clear when you’re staring at the model for extended periods.

VFX got updated here. The cocoon on E reads slightly different with the SKT color palette, and the spiderlings carry the theme through. Recall animation is custom too. Elise does a little victory pose, very on-brand for a Worlds skin. Voice lines stay base, no new VO, but honestly for this price point nobody expects that.

Played maybe 40 games with this last season in Diamond and the ability particles feel crisp enough. Q poke in human form, the spider Q execute – all tinted to match. Could be wrong here but I think the Neurotoxin projectile has a slightly sharper read against darker Rift backgrounds compared to base Elise. Small edge in bot lane ganking when you need that cocoon to land clean.

The Worlds 2015 line and release context

SKT T1 Elise dropped August 17, 2016, part of the World Champions: 2015 skinline celebrating SKT’s dominance that year. Victor ‘3rdColossus’ Maury handled the artwork. Solid splash. The composition captures both forms well, which is tough for a transforming champion like Elise.

The World Champions 2015 set is one of the better Worlds batches Riot put out. Elise fits naturally since Bengi was running her in the jungle during that tournament run. (Random aside: I still rewatch that Worlds semifinal series when I need motivation for my own ranked grind.) Legacy vault skin, so you cant just grab it whenever. Hextech only these days or wait for a legacy shop rotation, which Riot does maybe once or twice a year if you’re lucky.

No chromas on this one. Worlds skins from this era never got the chroma treatment. Kinda feels like Riot missed an opportunity there, a gold chroma variant would have been sick for the prestige factor.

Should you pick up SKT T1 Elise?

Real verdict: if you main Elise and care about esports history, this is an easy grab when it rotates back in. 975 RP is fair for what you get. Custom VFX, custom recall, clean model. Not the flashiest Elise skin in the catalog – Bewitching and Coven both outclass it visually. But there’s something about running a Worlds skin in ranked around 1 AM on a Tuesday night that just hits different.

For Elise one-tricks specifically, this slots into rotation nicely as a “chill game” skin. I swap between this and Blood Moon depending on mood. The SKT branding gives it personality that generic fantasy skins dont have. Skip it if you’re looking for heavy VFX upgrades or new voice lines, but for the price and the legacy behind it, SKT T1 Elise earns its spot. Worth 975 RP if you main Elise, no question.
