First game I loaded this up, my duo said “why is your Ashe on fire” and honestly thats the whole pitch. Infernal Ashe dropped May 30, 2024 and I locked it in immediately. The Infernal line has always been hit or miss for me, some champions wear the fire theme naturally and others look like someone dragged them through a volcano filter in Photoshop. Ashe sits somewhere in the middle, but closer to the good side.

How Infernal Ashe actually plays

The VFX carry this skin hard. Her W volley fans out with these ember trails that look clean in lane, easy to track but visually distinct from base. Not gonna lie, the Q stacked autos have this molten glow that makes kiting feel smoother even though nothing mechanically changed. Placebo? Probably. Still feels good.

Her E hawkshot leaves a trail of sparks across the map. Minor detail but I notice it every time I scout dragon pit or check if their jungler is topside. The R arrow is where Riot put the real work in. Big flaming projectile, burns bright across the Rift, and the impact on a stunned target has this nice burst of cinders. Caught their Jinx from bot lane last week around 1 AM and the arrow looked incredible crossing mid.

New recall animation too. Ashe channels fire between her hands before the bow ignites. Standard Epic recall quality, nothing groundbreaking but it fits. Voice lines stay base, no VO refresh. At 1350 RP for an Epic skin with new VFX and recall, the package is solid if not spectacular.

The Infernal skinline and who made this

Infernal is one of Riot’s oldest thematic lines. Been around since the early seasons. Infernal Ashe came late into the roster, season 14. The line works best on champions who benefit from aggressive visual energy, and Ashe being a frost archer creates this cool contrast. Fire instead of ice on every ability. Simple concept but executed well enough.

Yuyu Wong and Kudos Productions handled the artwork. They captured the intensity without overloading the splash. Ashe stands with the bow drawn, flames wrapping around her armor, background scorched. Clean composition. (Random aside: I saved the splash as my desktop background for like two weeks before switching back.)

8 chromas total. Amethyst shifts everything purple which reads well against the default fire palette, gives it a dark mage vibe that I think works better than the base honestly. Aquamarine turns the flames into this teal energy that reminds me of Spirit Fire Brand but on an ADC. Ruby exists but feels redundant when the base skin is already red and orange. Could be wrong here but I think Emerald is the sleeper pick, green fire on Ashe just looks different from anything else she has.

Where Infernal Ashe sits in her lineup

Ashe has a deep skin pool at this point. Project Ashe still exists at Legendary. Cosmic Queen is up there. Fae Dragon has its fans. Been maining Ashe with this skin for maybe 40 games across two patches and I keep coming back to it over those options specifically because the VFX are clean without being noisy.

In teamfights that matters more than people think. When you’re kiting their Darius or peeling for yourself against a diving comp, you want ability visuals that read fast. Infernal Ashe delivers on that. The W and R are immediately recognizable, no visual clutter.

Might be overthinking it but I think this skin works best for Ashe players who focus on the ADC fundamentals. CSing, poking with W in lane, hitting cross-map arrows. The fire theme rewards those moments visually without distracting from the gameplay loop.

Shop has it. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. Not the best Ashe skin full stop, that conversation involves Project and probably Cosmic Queen depending on who you ask. But for an Epic tier option released in season 14, Infernal Ashe earns its spot in the rotation. Worth 1350 if you main Ashe and want something aggressive looking without committing to Legendary pricing. Seen maybe 5 of these in my Diamond games all season, so you wont run into mirror skin matchups either.
