First time I watched an iG LeBlanc materialize mid-lane out of fog of war, I genuinely took a half-second pause. Something about the red and gold color palette feels deliberately wrong for her – LeBlanc runs cold blues and dark purples by default, so flipping her to Invictus Gaming crimson-and-gold makes her look almost like a different champion on screen. Didn’t lose the lane over it. Almost. Pan Chengwei’s splash art on the loading screen doesn’t help you focus either. Actually one of the better splash pieces in the entire World Champions: 2018 line, and that line has some strong competition.

What iG actually changes on LeBlanc

This is an Epic at 1350 RP, so you’re getting new VFX and a new recall. The sigil particle work shifts from LeBlanc’s default blue-purple glow to a warmer crimson with gold tracing – subtle in a quiet lane phase but obvious when you’re in a five-person teamfight with effects stacking everywhere. On W specifically, when the clone pops and you land the proc, the distortion reads cleaner against most Rift backgrounds than base does. Played thirty-plus games in Diamond with this over two weeks and the E mirror image particles stood out most: easier to track mid-dive, less visual noise cluttering the engage. Thats a real reason to run this skin beyond just looking different.

The recall is the standout piece. She strikes an iG championship pose. Short, punchy. Earned. Earned because Worlds 2018 actually happened – not lore, not a fictional tournament, actual esports history. (sidebar for LeBlanc mains specifically: Rookie ran her at that Worlds and this skin exists partly because of that run. You already know.)

No new VO. Base voice lines stay throughout – same voice lines as default, which is fine. Naomi McDonald’s performance holds up, and at Epic you’re not owed a full voice swap anyway.

Worlds 2018, the iG line, and release context

World Champions: 2018 dropped April 23, 2019, roughly six months after iG dismantled Fnatic in the finals. Pan Chengwei delivered on the LeBlanc splash: controlled energy, precise composition, she looks like a champion a world-class mid would lock in at the main stage. The full World Champions: 2018 line covered LeBlanc alongside Camille, Fiora, Irelia, Kai’Sa, and Rakan – basically commemorating the whole roster that won.

The skinline is Legacy now. Vault rotation. But iG LeBlanc is loot eligible, so hextech crafting gets you there without paying 1350 RP directly. Legacy catalog, not permanent shop. Worth flagging if you’re trying to gift it – you can’t just buy it on demand.

Two chromas in the pool. Tenfold Triumph stays in the red-gold lane, leans hard into the iG esports branding, looks almost aggressive against light Rift terrain in the bot lane. Elite swaps to blue and gold – I think Elite is the stronger pick for actual ranked games, cooler tone, cleaner read on her sigils when your screen goes chaotic late-game. Only 2 total, but both feel like intentional choices rather than generic recolors.

Is iG LeBlanc worth 1350 RP?

Real talk though – part of this skin’s value is carried by the Worlds 2018 context. If esports history doesn’t move you, then Elderwood or Coven LeBlanc both do more on raw theming and visual fantasy. Harder to argue for iG on pure aesthetics alone against either of those.

But if you main LeBlanc in ranked and want championship pedigree on your lock-in screen, or you were watching when iG lifted that trophy, this one lands differently. The VFX clarity on W and E procs is a genuine gameplay reason to run it beyond cosmetics. Spammed this in Diamond long enough to say 1350 RP feels fair: new particles, sharp recall, two usable chromas, real esports legacy. Worth it for LeBlanc mains. Craft it from loot if you can, buy it direct if you care about iG.
