Pantheon Skins
13 skins availablePantheon is one of those champions where I feel like Riot finally figured out what they wanted him to be after the 2019 rework, and the skin catalog reflects that split personality. 13 skins spanning from 2010 to 2024. Some of these are pre-rework relics that got visual updates, others are post-rework designs that actually leverage his new kit animations. Been maining Pantheon on and off since season 4, and honestly the difference between his old skins and the newer ones is night and day. Not gonna lie, his collection has some hidden gems most people sleep on.

How Pantheon's Skin Catalog Shaped Up Over the Years
13 skins total. Seven Standards, four Epics, two Mythics. No Legendary. That last part stings a bit because Pantheon's reworked VO and animations deserve the full Legendary treatment, but Riot hasnt gone there yet. Maybe someday.
The earliest skins date back to 2010. Myrmidon Pantheon was one of the first, and back then "skin" meant a texture swap and maybe a different colored shield. Perseus Pantheon, Ruthless Pantheon - same era, same energy. They got cleaned up with the 2019 VGU and honestly look way better now than they did originally, but they're still fundamentally simple skins. Color swaps with personality.
The real turning point was Dragonslayer in 2012. That was his first Epic-tier skin, and it set the tone for what a premium Pantheon skin should feel like. Big dragon-themed armor, fire effects on his abilities, the whole package. Then Riot went quiet on him for a while. Zombie Slayer dropped in 2015, Baker Pantheon happened (we'll get to that one), and then the rework in 2019 basically gave every skin a facelift.
Post-rework releases picked up quality. Pulsefire in 2020, Ruined in 2021 during the Sentinels event, Prestige Ascended Pantheon in 2022, and then Ashen Conqueror and Chosen of the Wolf bringing it to 2024. Could be wrong here but I think Pantheon's catalog is underrated compared to champions with similar skin counts. The Mythic skins specifically add a layer of exclusivity that most bruisers dont have.
Feels like Riot treats Pantheon as a "quality over quantity" champion for skins. 13 across 14 years isnt crazy production, but the hit rate is solid. No real stinkers in the bunch if you ask me, just different tiers of good.
Best Pantheon Skins Worth Locking In
Dragonslayer Pantheon. Full stop. This is the skin that made me start playing Pantheon back in season 5. The dragon-scale armor, the fiery shield, the way his Grand Starfall (R) looks like a meteor crashing through dragon wings - 1350 RP and it earns every point. The Q spear throw has these flame trails that feel more impactful than base, and his W stun slam gets fire particles on landing. Spammed this in Diamond for two seasons straight and never got tired of it.
Pulsefire Pantheon is the tech-fantasy alternative. Released 2020, also 1350 RP. The blue energy effects on his E shield look incredible, and the recall animation where he calibrates his suit is clean. (Random aside: Pulsefire skins in general have this sleek UI overlay during recall that I wish more skinlines would copy.) His Q in Pulsefire gets these digital particle trails. Honestly the skin reads better in teamfights than Dragonslayer because the blue pops against most Rift terrain.
Prestige Ascended Pantheon is the crown jewel if you managed to get it. Mythic tier, special pricing, golden armor that references his lore as the Aspect of War breaking free from the celestial Pantheon. The R animation specifically - golden light raining down - might be the single best Grand Starfall visual in his entire catalog. Had a ranked game last split where I ulted into baron pit with this skin and my duo literally said "that looked cinematic." Fair point.
Ashen Conqueror Pantheon. Second Mythic, 2024 release. Darker palette, ash and ember effects. Think Dragonslayer's fire but muted and grittier. The W engage has these crumbling stone particles and his E shield wall gets the ashen treatment. Kinda feels like Riot designed this for the Pantheon mains who wanted something less flashy than Prestige but still exclusive. Works.
Ruined Pantheon deserves a mention too. 1350 RP, came out during the Ruination event in 2021. The corruption effects on his kit look genuinely menacing - his Q tap has these black-green mist trails and the empowered Q throw leaves a shadow trail. Not my personal favorite aesthetically but in terms of VFX completeness for 1350 RP its hard to beat. Been running this one in ranked whenever I want to feel like a villain.
Skinlines and Where Pantheon Fits
Pantheon shows up across eight different skinlines and honestly some of these make zero sense while others are perfect fits. Dragon World with Dragonslayer is the obvious winner. A warrior with a spear and shield fighting dragons? Writes itself. The fantasy alignment is so strong that Dragonslayer still feels like his "true" alternate identity even 12 years later.
Pulsefire works surprisingly well. You'd think a Spartan warrior in a sci-fi suit would be goofy but Riot nailed the execution. The spear becomes an energy lance, the shield becomes a hard-light barrier. Makes sense mechanically even if thematically it's a stretch.
Now. Baker Pantheon. Culinary Masters skinline. He's wearing a chef hat and throwing a baguette instead of a spear. His shield is a pot lid. Not gonna lie, I love this skin unironically. It's a 975 RP meme that hits different at 2 AM in a normal game. The sound effects when you proc his empowered W are genuinely funny. (Sidebar for Pantheon one-tricks: you already know why this skin stays in rotation.)
Zombies VS Slayers gave us Zombie Slayer Pantheon which is fine. Wonders of the World covers Perseus, Road Warrior covers Full Metal, Fables has Chosen of the Wolf from 2024. Heavy Metal ties to Glaive Warrior. The spread is wide enough that there's a Pantheon skin for basically every mood. Want serious ranked energy? Dragonslayer or Ashen Conqueror. Want to tilt the enemy laner? Baker. Want flex? Pulsefire or Prestige.
Might be overthinking it but I think Pantheon's thematic flexibility comes from his kit being visually simple. Spear, shield, jump. You can reskin those three elements into almost any theme and it works because the silhouette stays readable.
Budget vs Premium Picks for Pantheon
Seven Standard skins ranging from 520 to 975 RP. Four Epics at 1350 RP each. Two Mythics at special pricing. No Legendaries.
Best budget pick is Perseus Pantheon if you can find it. The post-rework update gave it clean armor lines and a distinct Greek mythology vibe that fits his base fantasy. 520 RP back in the day, and the model holds up. Ruthless Pantheon at 520 RP is also solid - just a stripped-down gladiator look. Simple change - huge impact on how aggressive the champion feels.
Baker Pantheon at 975 RP is the best "cheap" skin that punches above its weight. Unique sound effects, funny animations, and it genuinely gets reactions in chat. Worth more than some 1350 skins on other champions honestly.
For premium, Dragonslayer at 1350 is the value king. Full VFX overhaul, thematic cohesion, animations that feel impactful. If you're only buying one Pantheon skin and you want it to feel like an upgrade in ranked, Dragonslayer is the answer. 1350 RP well spent for mains.
The Mythics are great but you cant just buy them off the shelf. Prestige Ascended and Ashen Conqueror require either the Mythic Essence shop rotation or getting lucky with rerolls. Real talk though, if Prestige Ascended shows up in the Mythic shop rotation and you play Pantheon regularly? Don't skip it. Top pick for Pantheon mains and the golden R alone justifies the grind.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many skins does Pantheon have?
Pantheon has 13 skins total as of 2024. Seven Standard tier, four Epics at 1350 RP each, and two Mythic skins (Prestige Ascended and Ashen Conqueror). Decent collection for a champion whos been around since 2010. Not the biggest roster but the quality is there, especially post-rework skins.
What is the best Pantheon skin?
Dragonslayer Pantheon for most players. 1350 RP, full VFX overhaul, fire effects on every ability. Feels incredible in ranked. If you have access to Mythic skins, Prestige Ascended Pantheon edges it out with that golden Grand Starfall animation. Been spamming Dragonslayer since season 5 personally. Still holds up.
What is the cheapest Pantheon skin?
Perseus Pantheon and Ruthless Pantheon sit at 520 RP, making them the cheapest options. Both got visual updates with the 2019 rework so they look way better than you'd expect for 520. Perseus especially gives strong Greek mythology vibes that fit his lore perfectly. Solid budget picks.
Does Pantheon have a Legendary skin?
No. Pantheon doesn't have a Legendary skin yet. His highest tier skins are the two Mythics: Prestige Ascended and Ashen Conqueror. Honestly feels like a missed opportunity because his reworked kit and VO would benefit from a full Legendary with new voice lines. Maybe someday. Riot please.
What skinlines is Pantheon in?
Pantheon appears in eight skinlines: Dragon World (Dragonslayer), Pulsefire, Zombies VS Slayers, Culinary Masters (Baker), Wonders of the World (Perseus), Road Warrior (Full Metal), Fables (Chosen of the Wolf), and Heavy Metal (Glaive Warrior). Wide spread. Dragon World fits him best in my opinion.
Does Pantheon have chromas?
Several of his skins have chromas available. Dragonslayer, Pulsefire, and Ruined Pantheon all got chroma sets. The Dragonslayer chromas are particularly good - Obsidian gives it a black dragon vibe thats cleaner than base. Check the individual skin pages for full chroma breakdowns and color options.
When was Pantheon's last skin released?
Chosen of the Wolf Pantheon dropped in 2024 as part of the Fables skinline. Before that it was Ashen Conqueror also in 2024. Two skins in one year is solid output for Pantheon. He's clearly on Riot's radar for regular skin releases now, which wasnt always the case pre-rework.
Is Pantheon worth buying skins for?
Absolutely. His reworked animations make skins feel impactful, especially the Grand Starfall R and Shield Vault W. Even cheap skins like Perseus look good post-rework. If you're climbing with Pantheon in ranked or spamming him in solo queue, Dragonslayer at 1350 RP is the one to grab first. Cant go wrong.
