Zenith Games Blitzcrank

First game I played with Zenith Games Blitzcrank I landed a hook through the dragon pit wall and my whole team started pinging the skin like it was the reason. It wasnt, obviously, but something about the VFX on Q just reads cleaner than base. Might be overthinking it but the grab animation has this sharp energy trail that makes you feel like every hook is a highlight clip. Been running this in Diamond support games since it dropped in September 2022 and honestly it holds up.

What Zenith Games Blitzcrank actually brings

So this is an Epic tier skin at 1350 RP, which means new VFX and a new recall but voice lines stay base. No VO refresh. Standard for the price point.

The model itself goes full esports arena robot. Blitzcrank looks like he belongs in some futuristic competitive gaming colosseum, metallic plating with neon accents that pulse during ability casts. The Q hook has this bright energy tether that I think reads better than most of his other skins. In lane when you’re zoning their ADC off cs, the threat of that glowing grab coming through minions just feels more intimidating. Could be wrong here but I swear people sidestep later against this skin compared to base.

W speed boost lights up the whole chassis. Clean effect. E uppercut has a satisfying burst particle on contact, nothing crazy but noticeable when you’re peeling for your backline in teamfights. The R static field detonation is where it gets good. Big radial pulse with the Zenith Games color scheme. Popped it in a five-man teamfight last Tuesday around midnight and it genuinely looked like a tournament play. The recall animation ties the whole sports theme together, Blitzcrank doing this victory celebration that fits the competitive vibe perfectly.

(Random aside: the recall animation made my duo partner start calling me “MVP Bot” for like three weeks straight and I still dont know if it was sarcasm.)

The Zenith Games line and release details

Zenith Games Blitzcrank released September 9, 2022. Late into season 12. Augusto Quirino and West Studio handled the artwork, and they nailed the splash. Blitzcrank standing center stage in this arena setting, fist raised. Looks like a championship poster.

The Zenith Games skinline is one of Riot’s sports-themed sets. Lee Sin got one in the same batch. Not gonna lie, I think Blitzcrank fits the concept better than most of the roster. A giant boxing robot in a competitive arena? That’s the most natural pairing Riot could have picked. The whole line leans into this futuristic Olympics energy and Blitzcrank’s kit with the grab, the knockup, the burst – it reads like a combat sport moveset.

8 chromas total. Obsidian is my personal pick, the dark plating with minimal glow gives off this serious competitor look. Sapphire goes hard too if you want that classic blue esports jersey vibe. Pearl exists for the clean minimalist crowd but I keep coming back to Obsidian in my ranked games. Shop has it permanently, no vault rotation to worry about.

Should you buy Zenith Games Blitzcrank?

Real verdict: 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. The VFX upgrade on Q alone makes it worth considering for anyone who plays Blitzcrank regularly. Not sure if it’s just me but the hook particles genuinely help me track the grab hitbox better, which matters when you’re trying to engage through a wave pre-6.

Best Blitzcrank skin? That’s between this and iBlitzcrank for me, and honestly they serve different moods. Zenith Games Blitzcrank is the tryhard ranked skin, the one you lock in when you want to climb. iBlitzcrank is the flex pick. Been spamming this in Diamond for maybe 40 games this season and I think it’s the most polished Epic in his catalog. Voice pack is base only which is fine, Blitzcrank’s default lines still hit.

Skip it if you already own Lancer Paragon and feel satisfied. But if you main Blitzcrank and want something that looks like it belongs in pro play, this is the one. Worth 1350 if you main Blitz. Simple choice – huge payoff for support mains who live and die by the hook.
