Panda Annie turns Tibbers into a giant panda. February 8, 2013 release for Lunar Revel at 975 RP. Michelle Hoefener painted the splash and it shows Annie in traditional Chinese-inspired clothing with a panda Tibbers looming behind her. The skin launched during one of the earlier Lunar Revel events when Riot was still figuring out their annual holiday skin cadence. Grabbed it because panda Tibbers. Thats the whole reasoning. Sometimes a skin sells itself on one visual.

Panda bear chaos

The model puts Annie in a red and gold Lunar-inspired outfit. Cute design that matches the holiday theme. VFX get mild updates with fire effects taking on warmer tones. Q and W have slightly different coloring. But the star of the show is R. Summoning a giant panda bear that chases enemies through a teamfight is inherently funny. Pandas look cuddly. This one is doing damage. The cognitive dissonance between “adorable panda” and “dealing 400 AOE damage per tick” is part of the charm.

Not the strongest Annie skin by modern metrics but panda Tibbers is panda Tibbers. That alone has kept this skin relevant for over a decade. Seen it in my games more often than I expected honestly, usually from Annie support players who want something cute in bot lane. Fair enough. Cannot argue with a giant flaming panda.
