Goth Annie is one of those skins that tells you how long someone has been playing League. October 27, 2009. The game was barely a month old. Originally came bundled with the digital collector’s pack or something along those lines, cant remember the exact deal anymore. Julia Yurtsev handled the splash and it shows Annie in full goth attire with dark makeup and a recolored Tibbers that matches the aesthetic. Seeing this skin in a ranked lobby is rare enough that people ask about it in chat. Happened to me twice this season.

What goth treatment looks like on Annie

The model swaps Annie’s standard red dress for a black and purple goth outfit. Dark stockings, darker color palette across the whole design. Tibbers gets a matching dark makeover. The VFX have some updates thanks to the goth skinline getting a minor refresh at some point but dont expect full particle overhaul territory. Q and W fire with slightly darkened effects. R drops a goth Tibbers who looks menacing in that early-League way where the model is simple but the color shift does enough work.

Special pricing means this wasnt a standard RP purchase. No chromas. Voice stays default. Cristina Milizia’s Annie voice applies. Shop availability is permanent now I believe though the original acquisition method was different. Part of the Goth skinline.

Worth tracking down for Annie players

Annie has Fright Night at Epic which is objectively better in every visual category. Hextech at Mythic has the exclusive factor. But Goth Annie carries the weight of being a day-one skin from 2009. Not gonna lie, the loading screen flex of showing a skin thats older than most current League players is its own reward. If you have it, use it occasionally for the reactions. If you dont have it, Fright Night is the better investment for actual gameplay visuals. Goth Annie is history. Good history though.
