Foreseen Yasuo

First game I loaded this skin into was a late night ranked session, maybe 1 AM on a Thursday. The loading screen hit and I just sat there staring at the splash for a second. Foreseen Yasuo looks like he walked out of some alternate timeline where Yasuo became a monk instead of a wanderer. Not sure if it’s just me but the whole vibe feels heavier than most Yasuo skins, more grounded. Less flashy samurai, more quiet prophet energy.

What Foreseen Yasuo actually changes

So this is an Epic tier skin at 1350 RP, which means new VFX and a new recall animation. Voice lines stay base, no VO refresh. The Q tornado has this deep blue-white energy trail that reads way cleaner in teamfights than base Yasuo. Honestly thats one of the biggest selling points for me. When you’re dashing through a packed fight trying to land that knockup, the visual clarity on Q3 matters more than people think.

The W wind wall got a visual update too. It has this translucent barrier look with faint rune-like patterns running through it. Subtle change but it makes the wall feel more intentional, like you’re placing a ward of protection rather than just throwing up a random gust. E dashes leave a short trail that fades quickly. Nothing crazy but it helps track your movement path.

R is where the skin delivers. Last Steel Tempest into ult and the whole screen gets this brief flash of prophetic energy. Played maybe 30 games with this skin the first week it dropped and the ult animation never got old. The recall is solid too. Yasuo meditates with his blade floating, some fortune-telling imagery. Clean stuff.

The model itself goes for a robed, oracle aesthetic. White and blue tones with gold accents. His sword design changed to match the Otherroads theme. Been running this in Diamond and I get compliments on it more than I expected. People notice it in champ select.

The Otherroads line and release context

Foreseen Yasuo released January 24, 2024. Early season 14. Su Fu and Kudos Productions handled the splash, and they captured something special with it. The composition puts Yasuo in this meditative pose with visions swirling around him. Check their portfolio if you get a chance.

The Otherroads skinline explores alternate paths champions could have taken. Kinda feels like Riot’s version of “what if” stories. Yasuo as a seer who chose wisdom over the blade fits naturally. The line isnt massive but the concept carries weight.

8 chromas total for Foreseen Yasuo. Obsidian is my go-to, the dark tones make the prophetic VFX pop harder against the contrast. Sapphire hits a cold mage fantasy that works surprisingly well on Yasuo. Pearl is the sleeper pick though, the white-on-white gives this ethereal look that most people scroll past. (Random aside: I set the Obsidian chroma splash as my Discord avatar for like two months and nobody questioned it.)

Worth the 1350 RP?

Real verdict: Yasuo has so many skins at this point that any new release has to compete with Nightbringer, Spirit Blossom, Truth Dragon. Heavy competition. Foreseen holds its own though. The VFX clarity alone makes it a legitimate ranked skin. Been maining Yasuo with this since it dropped and I keep coming back to it over flashier options.

Could be wrong here but I think this is underrated in the Yasuo catalog. It doesnt have the spectacle of a Legendary but the execution is tight for what it is. The Q tornado readability gives you a genuine gameplay edge when you’re trying to track your nado in a messy engage. That matters when you’re climbing.

1350 RP feels fair for what you get. New VFX across all abilities, clean recall, strong model. Shop has it, permanent availability. If you one-trick Yasuo and you’re tired of cycling between Spirit Blossom and Nightbringer, Foreseen is a legitimate third option. Maybe just my experience but the skin feels lighter in terms of visual noise, which helps with cs-ing in lane. Could be placebo. Probably is. Still keeping it in rotation.

Skip it if you only play Yasuo occasionally. But for mains? Top pick for Yasuo mains who want something clean over something loud. That ranked game where my Kayn inted three kills pre-6 and I still carried the teamfight at dragon pit, I was wearing this skin. Correlation isnt causation but I’m not switching.
