Cheddar Chief Twitch

First game I played with Cheddar Chief Twitch, my duo asked me why I was throwing cheese wheels at people. Honest answer: because Riot finally gave Twitch mains something stupid enough to match the champion’s energy. This skin dropped April 3, 2024 and I locked it in immediately. No regrets.

What Cheddar Chief Twitch actually brings

So this is an Epic skin at 1350 RP, and for that price you get new VFX across the board plus a fresh recall animation. Voice lines stay base, which is fine because Doug Boyd’s original Twitch VO already has that unhinged rat energy that fits the cheese theme better than any new lines could. Not gonna lie, the base voice saying disgusting things while you’re dressed as a cheese chef just works.

The Q stealth shimmer has this golden haze to it now. Subtle change but it reads well against the Rift. Your W Venom Cask is the standout here, it splashes down with what I can only describe as molten cheese VFX. Kinda feels like Riot’s particle team had way too much fun with this one. The E Contaminate proc pops with these yellow-orange bursts that tie the whole food theme together.

Recall animation is where the skin peaks though. Twitch pulls out a massive cheese wheel, carves it up chef-style, then presents it like he’s on a cooking show. Been spamming this in Diamond after getting a pick in bot lane specifically to flex the recall. Worth it every time.

(Random aside: my girlfriend saw the splash art and thought it was a custom skin someone modded in. She wasnt wrong to question it honestly.)

The R Spray and Pray bolts have this cheesy trail effect. In late-game teamfights when you pop ult from stealth and shred the backline, the visual is genuinely hilarious. Could be wrong here but I think the auto attack particles are slightly different too, more of a warm yellow compared to base Twitch’s green.

Food Fight and the cheese empire

Cheddar Chief Twitch belongs to the Food Fight skinline, which is one of Riot’s goofier themes. Fits Twitch perfectly. The rat who lives in sewers and throws poison now throws artisanal cheese instead. Rudy Siswanto nailed the splash, capturing that manic chef energy with Twitch wielding a cheese grater like a weapon.

8 chromas total for this one. Berry Cake goes full purple and honestly looks cleaner than it should on a cheese-themed skin. Matcha Cake gives you a green colorway that almost loops back around to looking like default Twitch if you squint. Chocolate Pie is my go-to, the dark brown palette makes Twitch look like he’s been cooking in a serious kitchen, not a cartoon one. Skip Rainbow Cake unless you want to blind your lane opponent with pastel overload.

Released deep into season 14. The Food Fight batch came out around the same time I was grinding through Diamond 3, so I associate this skin with a pretty brutal loss streak on a Thursday night around midnight. Not the skin’s fault. Probably.

Should you buy Cheddar Chief Twitch?

Real verdict: 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. The VFX overhaul is solid, the recall is entertaining, and the thematic commitment is there. No new VO but thats standard for Epic tier and the base voice carries the concept anyway.

If you’re an ADC main who plays Twitch in ranked, this competes directly with Dragonslayer and High Noon for best modern Twitch skin. Dragonslayer has the edge on “cool factor” but Cheddar Chief wins on personality. For Twitch one-tricks who already own everything, this is an easy add to the rotation. Shop has it, permanent availability, no vault anxiety.

For people who dont play Twitch: skip it. This skin is for mains who want to tilt the enemy bot lane with cheese puns in all chat while they scale into a late-game hypercarry. Played maybe 200 games with this across two splits and it still makes me smile when the recall animation plays. S-tier Twitch cosmetic for the vibe alone.
