Archduke Nasus

First time I saw Archduke Nasus in a loading screen I thought someone modded the game. Nasus in a top hat and monocle looking like he’s about to attend a Victorian dinner party instead of stacking Q in top lane. Been running this skin on and off since season 5 and honestly its one of those skins that gets a reaction in chat every single time. Not a flashy reaction. More like a “lol nice skin” from the enemy Darius right before you bonk him at 400 stacks.

What Archduke Nasus actually looks like

So this is a Standard tier skin at 750 RP. That means you’re getting a model change and a new splash, but no new VFX, no new animations, no recall change. Voice lines stay base. Kinda feels like you already know what to expect at this price point.

The model itself though? Clean. Nasus wears a full suit with a waistcoat, cravat, and that ridiculous top hat. He’s got a cane instead of his usual staff. The monocle is the cherry on top. The whole High Society fantasy works because Nasus already carries himself like royalty in his base skin. Giving him an actual aristocrat outfit just fits. Hard to explain but when you’re slow-pushing a wave and walking up to Q a cannon minion, the cane bonk animation with the suit just hits different.

No new particles on Q, W, E, or ult. Spirit Fire is still the same circle, Wither still looks the same. When you pop ult you’re still the same giant dog but in a suit, which is honestly funnier than any custom VFX could be. Picture a massive suited jackal chasing down the enemy ADC. Comedy gold.

The High Society line and some context

Archduke Nasus dropped March 31, 2015. Part of the High Society skinline alongside a few other champions who got the fancy treatment. The line never got huge but the concept is solid. Nasus fits it better than most.

750 RP for a texture and model swap. No chromas available for this one. Shop has it permanently so you can grab it whenever. Not gonna lie, for the price I think this is one of the better value picks in the Nasus catalog. You’re not competing with Infernal Nasus or the Legendary stuff here. Different vibe entirely. (Random aside: I use this skin specifically when I want to tilt the enemy laner because nothing is more disrespectful than getting stat-checked by a dog in a tuxedo.)

Should you buy Archduke Nasus?

Real verdict: if you main Nasus and you want something goofy that still looks polished, Archduke Nasus is the pick. 750 RP feels fair for what you get. It’s not going to blow your mind with effects or new voice lines. Thats not the point. The point is walking into a teamfight at 35 minutes with 600 stacks looking like you’re headed to the opera.

Played maybe 80 games with this last season in Diamond. Could be wrong here but I think the cane reads slightly faster on Q than the default staff animation, probably just placebo though. Late-game scaling Nasus with the monocle just radiates confidence. Had a game last Thursday where our jungle Kayn kept pinging my skin in champ select like it was a bad omen. We won that game at 28 minutes after I two-shot their backline.

Skip this if you want spectacle. Lock it in if you appreciate the meme. Top pick for Nasus mains who dont take themselves too seriously but still want to climb. Simple change – huge impact on the fun factor.
