Warrior Princess Sivir

Been running Warrior Princess Sivir on and off since like season 3 or 4, honestly dont remember exactly when I first picked it up. What I do remember is loading into a ranked game last Thursday around midnight and realizing this skin still holds up way better than it has any right to for something from 2010. Not flashy. Not trying to impress anyone. Just a clean reskin that changes the vibe of Sivir enough to feel different without screaming “look at my cosmetics” in the bot lane.

What Warrior Princess Sivir actually gives you

Real talk though, this is a Standard tier skin at 520 RP so temper expectations. No new VFX on Q or W. No fancy recall animation. Voice lines stay base. What you get is a full model swap that leans into this ancient warrior aesthetic, think Xena vibes but on the Rift. Sivir trades her usual outfit for armor plating and a redesigned boomerang blade that looks heavier, more like an actual weapon.

The color palette shifts toward bronze and dark leather tones. Subtle change but it reads well in teamfights when you’re trying to poke from the backline. Could be wrong here but I think the auto attack animations feel slightly different with the new model proportions, even though Riot didnt change them. Placebo for sure. Still feels good.

No new particles on her E spell shield either. Same blue bubble. Her ult activation looks identical to base Sivir. For 520 RP though? Nobody expects Legendary treatment. The model work does the heavy lifting and thats enough.

Legacy line and release context

Warrior Princess Sivir dropped April 27, 2010. Early League. Season one territory. Part of the Legacy skinline, which is basically Riot’s catch-all for older skins that dont fit neatly into a thematic universe. Shop has it for 520 RP, permanent availability.

No chromas exist for this one. Zero. Not surprising given the age and price point. Riot wasnt doing chromas back then and never went back to add them for most of these older Standard skins. No splash artist credited in the data either, which tracks for that era of League development. (Random aside: the original splash art has this painted quality that reminds me of old fantasy book covers my dad had on his shelf growing up.)

Sivir mains from that era had like three skin options total. Warrior Princess was the pick if you wanted something that felt more serious than base Sivir. Played maybe 200 games with it across multiple seasons before I eventually rotated to other Sivir skins.

Should you buy Warrior Princess Sivir?

Verdict time. 520 RP feels fair for what you get. Not gonna lie, if you’re a Sivir one-trick looking to collect every skin she has, this is an easy pickup. The model change is clean, the warrior fantasy works for Sivir’s kit identity as this battle-hardened ADC who wants to engage and disengage on her own terms. Spamming W in a wave and watching that redesigned blade bounce around is satisfying in a small way.

But if you can only own one Sivir skin? Skip this. Pizz Delivery exists. Odyssey exists. There’s better options at higher price points that give you actual VFX and recall changes. Warrior Princess Sivir is for completionists and players who appreciate the old-school League aesthetic before every skin needed to have fifteen particle effects and a unique death animation. I keep it in rotation for those games where I want something simple. Not every cs session needs to be a light show.
