First game I played with Pool Party Fiora was a top lane mirror against another Fiora running the PROJECT skin. Loaded in, saw the pool noodle, and honestly could not stop grinning for the first three minutes. Not gonna lie, there’s something about beating someone in a 1v1 duel while your character is wearing a swimsuit and holding a foam toy that just hits different. Been running this in Diamond ranked since season 8 or 9 dont remember exactly, and the skin still feels fresh.

What Pool Party Fiora actually changes

The big thing here is Fiora’s rapier gets swapped for a pool noodle. Red and blue striped. Sounds goofy and it is, but the animations are clean. Riot kept her fluid fencing style intact. Q lunge splashes water particles on contact. Looks crisp in lane when you’re poking and trading short.

W riposte has this water burst effect instead of the standard gold flash. Kinda feels like she’s deflecting a wave. The passive vitals still read clearly against the new VFX, which matters a lot for Fiora mains who rely on proc-ing those marks in teamfights. E auto resets feel the same, maybe slightly more satisfying with the wet slap sound on hit. Could be wrong here but I think the second E strike has a bigger splash particle than the first.

Her ult is where the skin shines. Grand Challenge vitals pop with water splashes when you proc each one, and the healing zone has this pool water effect on the ground. Played maybe 150 games with this skin and the ult zone is consistently easier to spot than base Fiora’s. Helpful for your team too when they need to stand in it during a dive.

The recall animation is great. She does this elegant diving board routine, very in character for Fiora. Lands in an inflatable pool. Short and sweet. (Random aside: my duo partner calls this skin “noodle lady” and refuses to use her real name in comms.)

Voice lines stay base. No new VO. Karen Strassman’s original performance carries through fine, the French accent works surprisingly well with the summer theme.

Pool Party line and release context

Pool Party Fiora dropped July 13, 2016. Mid-season 6. The Pool Party skinline is one of Riot’s most popular summer batches. Fiora fits the theme naturally because her fencing stance translates perfectly to holding a pool noodle. Pan Chengwei nailed the splash, the composition with Fiora mid-lunge over the pool is dynamic without being cluttered.

This Epic tier skin sits at 1350 RP. Standard pricing for what you get: new model, new VFX on abilities, new recall animation. No voice filter or transforming elements but thats expected at this price point.

8 chromas available for this one. Tanzanite goes deep purple which reads really well against the Rift’s green, probably my favorite. Rose Quartz gives her this soft pink vibe that looks clean in game. Pearl is the white-teal combo that’s popular across Pool Party skins. The rest are solid but those three stood out to me after cycling through them last Tuesday in practice tool.

Should you pick up Pool Party Fiora?

Real verdict: this is a top three Fiora skin. Maybe top two. The competition is stiff with PROJECT Fiora and iG Fiora existing, but Pool Party has something neither of those has. Personality. PROJECT is sleek and serious. iG is clean but minimal. Pool Party Fiora has actual character and humor while still looking premium in ranked.

If you splitpush on Fiora regularly and want something that stands out in the top lane, this is the pick. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. The VFX are clear, the model is fun, the chromas give you options. Permanent shop availability so no rush.

Real talk though, if you’re a Fiora one-trick who already owns PROJECT, this is still worth grabbing as a rotation skin. Been daily driving Pool Party Fiora for two seasons now and I swap between this and iG depending on mood. Some ranked games around 1 AM you just want the pool noodle energy. Skip this only if you genuinely hate fun skins on serious champions, but even then the VFX quality might change your mind. Best summer skin for any top laner, and I will die on that hill.
