T1 Orianna

First game I loaded this skin into, my duo asked if I was trolling with a “red Orianna.” Took about 30 seconds of laning before he shut up. T1 Orianna hits clean. The whole package just feels like Riot actually cared about the Worlds skin this time around, which honestly isnt always a given with esports skins.

VFX and what actually changes on the Rift

So the Ball. Thats the whole champion, right? T1 Orianna redesigns the Ball into this sleek red and white orb with the T1 logo styling baked into the geometry. Not subtle at all. In a teamfight you can track it way easier than base Orianna, which I think is lowkey a gameplay advantage if your team actually pays attention to Shockwave setups.

The Q sends the Ball out with new red-tinted trail particles. Nothing crazy but the color contrast against Summoner’s Rift green is sharp. W activation pulses out in T1 red. Could be wrong here but the W zone feels visually larger than base, even though the hitbox is identical. E shield wraps your ally in this clean white barrier effect with red accents. Looks premium on a diving Jarvan or Hecarim.

Recall animation is the highlight for me. Orianna does this choreographed routine with the Ball that references T1’s championship run. Been spamming this in Diamond mid lane and I hit the recall after every successful roam just to flex it. The model itself wears this red and white outfit that matches the T1 jersey aesthetic. Voice lines stay base, no new VO, but the VFX carry the skin hard enough.

(Random aside: I have like four Orianna skins and this is the only one where the Ball color actually helps me track positioning in late-game fights around Baron pit.)

The Worlds 2023 line and release context

T1 Orianna dropped August 14, 2024 as part of the World Champions: 2023 skinline celebrating T1’s run. Alsie Lau, Kelvin Law, and Mo Yan collaborated on the splash art. Three artists on one splash and it shows. The composition captures Orianna mid-cast with the Ball floating in this dramatic red atmosphere.

The World Champions line always hits different for me because these skins carry actual history. Faker’s team. The dynasty. Orianna is a fitting pick for the set given how many times she’s shown up in pro play metas over the years. Kinda feels like every Worlds winner should have an Orianna skin at this point.

One Elite chroma available. Deep red and orange tones, pushes the T1 branding even harder. Honestly the base skin already commits to the red aesthetic so the Elite chroma is more of a collector’s grab than a visual upgrade. Legacy vault skin so you cant just walk into the shop and buy it whenever. Gotta wait for vault rotations or get lucky with Hextech crafting.

Is T1 Orianna worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: for Orianna mains who follow esports, this is a no-brainer. 1350 RP is standard Epic pricing and you get new VFX across all abilities plus a solid recall. Not gonna lie, I think it competes with Dark Star Orianna for best overall feel in game, and Dark Star has been my go-to for like three seasons.

The Ball tracking advantage alone made me lock in T1 Orianna for maybe 40 ranked games last September. Went on a nice climb through Diamond 2 with it. Simple change – huge impact on how my team responded to Shockwave calls in comms.

Skip this if you dont care about esports skins or T1 specifically. But if you’re an Orianna one-trick who wants every skin in the collection, the Legacy availability means grab it when it rotates back. Worth 1350 RP for mains, and the Elite chroma is a nice bonus if you want the full set. Not the flashiest Orianna skin ever made but the cleanest esports skin she’s gotten. Top pick for Orianna mains who value clarity over spectacle.
