Faker wins Worlds again and Lee Sin gets the honor. Feels right. Been waiting for this one since T1 took the trophy in November 2023, and when the skin finally dropped August 14, 2024 I locked it in immediately. The red and white T1 color scheme on Lee Sin just works, and there’s something about playing a Worlds skin for a champion that defined so many highlight reels over the years.
What the T1 treatment actually changes
This is an Epic tier skin at 1350 RP so you get the standard package: new model, new VFX, new recall animation. Voice lines stay base. The model itself puts Lee Sin in the T1 jersey aesthetic with the signature red and white palette, clean lines, and the org’s branding worked into the design without looking like a billboard. Solid execution.
The VFX are where this skin earns its price. Q connects with this sharp red energy trail that reads really well in teamfights. Not gonna lie, it actually helped me track my Q2 follow-up better in a couple of Diamond games last week. The W shield has a subtle T1 logo flash on activation, and the E ripple carries that same red tone. R kicks with a burst effect thats clean and satisfying. Nothing over the top, nothing distracting.
Recall animation is the highlight for me. Lee Sin does a victory pose with the Summoner’s Cup, which is exactly what you want from a Worlds skin. Played maybe 40 games with this skin since it came out and I still watch the full recall sometimes instead of canceling it. (Random aside: my duo partner bought every T1 skin in the set and uses them exclusively in flex queue like some kind of fanboy shrine.)
The Worlds 2023 line and context
Part of the World Champions: 2023 skinline celebrating T1’s victory. Alsie Lau, Kelvin Law, and Mo Yan handled the splash art, and they captured the energy perfectly. Lee Sin standing confident in the T1 colors with that competitive edge in his stance. Banger splash.
There’s 1 chroma available, the Elite variant. It swaps the palette to a deeper red with orange accents. Kinda feels like it leans into a more aggressive look compared to the cleaner base version. I prefer the original white and red personally but the Elite chroma has its fans in my friend group.
This is a Legacy vault skin so you cant just grab it any time. Hextech only these days unless Riot brings it back for a Worlds event rotation. Seen maybe 5 of these in my ranked games all season, which honestly makes it feel more special when you lock it in during champ select.
Is T1 Lee Sin worth 1350 RP?
Real verdict: if you’re a Lee Sin main who watched T1 take it all in 2023, this is an easy buy. The VFX are clean, the model looks sharp, and the recall is a nice touch. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. Could be wrong here but I think this sits comfortably in the upper half of Lee Sin’s skin catalog.
It doesnt compete with God Fist for pure spectacle or Storm Dragon for flashiness. Different lane entirely. This one is about the competitive legacy, the esports connection, the pride of repping T1 while you’re invading the enemy jungle at level 3 on a Tuesday night. For Lee Sin one-tricks who follow pro play, top pick. For everyone else, maybe wait until it rotates back into availability during a Worlds event. Worth it for the right player.
