K/DA ALL OUT Kai'Sa - Splash, Price & Chromas

First game I played with this skin, my duo asked me if I bought a prestige version by accident. The glow-up from the original K/DA Kai’Sa is real. K/DA ALL OUT Kai’Sa dropped October 29, 2020, right when the whole ALL OUT event had the community losing it over pop star skins again. Been running this as my default Kai’Sa skin in ranked for a while now and I think it earns its spot.

How K/DA ALL OUT Kai’Sa plays on the Rift

The VFX overhaul is clean. Q missiles have this purple-pink trail that reads well in teamfights without cluttering the screen. Honestly not gonna lie, some Epic skins go overboard with the particle effects and you lose track of what’s happening in a 5v5, but this one keeps it tight. W fires off with a sharper visual cue compared to base, and the isolation proc on passive has a satisfying pop to it.

E stealth shimmer looks different here. Subtle change but you notice it after maybe 30 games. The evolved wings have this sleek K/DA aesthetic that fits the idol fantasy without looking goofy on the Rift. R shield dash keeps the purple theme going. Nothing groundbreaking on individual abilities for a 1350 RP skin but the package works together.

Recall animation is where Riot put the extra effort. Kai’Sa hits a full dance routine, very on brand for the K/DA line. I’ve seen ADC players just recall in fountain to show it off pre-6. Worth it? Kinda feels like they knew the recall would sell this skin more than anything else. (Random aside: I had this recall as my phone notification sound for like two months before my girlfriend made me change it.)

Voice lines stay base, no new VO. Standard for this tier. The base Kai’Sa voice works fine here though, doesnt clash with the pop star look the way it might on some other champion skin combos.

The K/DA line and where ALL OUT fits

K/DA as a skinline is one of Riot’s biggest commercial hits. Period. The original set from 2018 blew up, and ALL OUT in 2020 was the follow-up collection tied to the actual music releases. Bo ‘chenbowow’ Chen handled the splash art and they captured the vibe perfectly. The pose, the outfit, the confidence – it reads like a concert poster more than a game splash.

This Epic tier skin sits at 1350 RP. Shop has it permanently so no vault anxiety. There’s 1 chroma available, the BADDEST edition, which shifts the color palette darker with deep navy and black tones. Honestly the BADDEST chroma might edge out the base version for me. The darker color scheme reads cleaner against most Rift backgrounds, especially in bot lane during laning phase where the green contrast pops.

Season 10 release if I remember right, or maybe early season 11 timeline. Late 2020 either way. Been spamming this in Diamond games since around that time and the skin has aged well. Some 2020 skins look dated already but this one holds up. Might be the clean silhouette.

Should you lock in K/DA ALL OUT Kai’Sa?

Real verdict: if you play Kai’Sa at all, this is a strong pickup. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. New VFX across the kit, a top tier recall, and the K/DA brand recognition that makes the loading screen hit different. I’ve had games where three people on my team were running ALL OUT skins. That ranked game around 2 AM last Tuesday where my support locked Sona and we were both in K/DA gear – comp looked like a concert lineup.

Competition is stiff though. Kai’Sa has a loaded skin catalog. Bullet Angel is solid for the mecha crowd, Star Guardian exists for that audience, and the Prestige K/DA ALL OUT version obviously one-ups this if you have it. But for pure value at the Epic price point? K/DA ALL OUT Kai’Sa is top pick for Kai’Sa mains who want style without dropping Legendary money. The BADDEST chroma is worth grabbing too if you’re already committing. Skip it only if you already own three Kai’Sa skins and your cs is suffering from too much time in the shop.
