Prestige K/DA ALL OUT Kai'Sa - Splash, Price & Chromas

First time I saw Prestige K/DA ALL OUT Kai’Sa in the loading screen I thought someone modded the game. The white and gold color scheme on Kai’Sa hits so different from the standard ALL OUT version. Not gonna lie, I stared at the splash for a solid minute before the game loaded. That was back in October 2020 and I still remember it clearly.

The gold treatment on Kai’Sa

So the whole point of a Prestige skin is taking an existing concept and dipping it in gold. Simple idea. But the execution here actually works because Kai’Sa’s second skin suit translates well into that white-gold palette. The shoulder pieces, the geometric patterns running down her legs, the way the gold accents catch light on the Rift. Clean.

VFX got reworked for the Prestige version. Her Q missiles trail golden particles instead of the purple from base ALL OUT. Feels like watching fireworks scatter across the lane when you fire into a minion wave. The W beam reads crisper too, that bright gold line cutting through a teamfight is actually easier to track than the standard version. Could be wrong here but I think the hitbox visual reads better on this one.

E evolution is where mains will notice the biggest shift. The wings that deploy when you evolve E swap to this pearlescent gold that spreads wider than you’d expect. Been running this in Diamond for multiple seasons now and the evolved form still catches my eye mid-fight. The recall animation keeps the K/DA dance theme but with golden stage effects. Sparkles everywhere. Voice lines stay base, no new VO, which is standard for Prestige skins at this tier.

(Random aside: my duo partner thought this was a Legendary the first time he saw the recall animation. Had to explain Prestige tiers to him for like ten minutes.)

K/DA ALL OUT and the Prestige chase

Released October 29, 2020. Right in the middle of the K/DA ALL OUT event that dropped alongside the EP. Season 10 was winding down. Bo ‘chenbowow’ Chen handled the artwork and honestly they captured the idol fantasy without making it look gaudy. The gold reads as luxurious not tacky, which is harder to pull off than people think.

The K/DA line is one of Riot’s biggest crossover successes. Kai’Sa being the face of K/DA means she gets the Prestige treatment basically every cycle. This Mythic tier skin was originally earned through event tokens during the 2020 Worlds pass if I remember right. Grinding those tokens at 3 AM on a Tuesday night wasnt my proudest moment but here we are.

No chromas on this one. Makes sense for a Prestige, the whole identity is the white-gold colorway. Adding chromas would defeat the purpose. Available now through the Prestige shop rotation, so if you missed the original event grind you can still pick it up. Special pricing applies since its a Mythic skin, not your standard RP purchase.

Kinda feels like Riot knew exactly what they were doing releasing this during Worlds season. Every Kai’Sa main I knew was spamming games to earn enough tokens. The FOMO was real. Seen maybe 5 of these in my ranked games this whole season, which keeps it feeling exclusive even though its technically available again.

How it stacks against other Kai’Sa skins

Kai’Sa has a stacked skin catalog. Bullet Angel for the sci-fi crowd. Star Guardian for the weeb vote. Lagoon Dragon if you want something more fantasy. But Prestige K/DA ALL OUT Kai’Sa occupies this specific niche where you want to flex without going full Legendary price.

Real talk though. The base K/DA ALL OUT already looks good. Purple and black, sharper silhouette, solid VFX. This Prestige version is for people who want the premium version of that concept. The gold particles on Q feel smoother to me, might be placebo but after playing maybe 150 games with both versions I keep coming back to Prestige.

Compared to the original Prestige K/DA Kai’Sa from 2018, this one is a clear upgrade. Better model quality, better VFX integration, better splash. Two years of skin pipeline improvements show. The 2018 version looks dated now, the gold was more yellow than white-gold and the model felt rushed.

Should you chase Prestige K/DA ALL OUT Kai’Sa?

Verdict time. If you main Kai’Sa and you care about cosmetics at all, this is top three for her easily. The Mythic pricing means you’re either spending Mythic Essence or grinding an event, not dropping standard RP. That barrier to entry is part of the appeal.

Best Kai’Sa skin for players who want something that reads as premium in the loading screen and on the Rift without the Legendary price tag commitment. The white-gold is distinctive enough that teammates and enemies both notice it. Took this into a ranked game last Thursday and my support immediately commented on the skin in champ select. That kind of reaction is what Prestige skins are supposed to deliver.

Skip it if you already own Star Guardian or Lagoon Dragon and dont play Kai’Sa enough to justify the Mythic Essence. But for one-tricks and ADC mains who have Kai’Sa in heavy rotation, this is the flex pick. S-tier Kai’Sa cosmetic, no question.
