High Noon Samira

First game I played with High Noon Samira was around 2 AM on a Thursday, and I remember thinking Riot finally gave this champion a skin that matches the energy she brings to teamfights. The western gunslinger fantasy fits Samira so naturally it almost feels like it should have been her base design. Not gonna lie, the moment I saw the splash I knew this was going straight into my rotation.

What High Noon Samira actually brings to the table

New VFX across the board. The Q has this dusty amber trail that reads clean against the Rift, and the passive style meter gets a western-themed redesign that looks way better than default. Her W blade barrier picks up these sandy particle effects that pop hard in lane. Feels like playing a different champion sometimes.

The recall animation is where Riot cooked. Samira does this whole dramatic coin-flip gunslinger pose and it just fits. Been spamming this in Diamond for a while now and the recall alone makes it worth locking in over her other options. Voice lines stay base, no new VO, but the sound effects on her abilities have enough crunch to sell the western theme.

Could be wrong here but I think the auto attack animations feel slightly snappier with this skin. Placebo probably. The melee Q slash has a golden edge to it that helps you track the hitbox in chaotic teamfights, which is actually useful when you’re trying to dive the backline and stack your passive. One thing that bothered me initially – the ult VFX are good but not as dramatic as I expected. It’s a dust tornado with golden highlights. Clean, sure, but PsyOps still has the more satisfying ult visually.

(Random aside: my duo partner is a Samira one-trick and he refuses to use anything except this skin since it dropped. Thats his entire personality now.)

The High Noon line and where Samira fits

The High Noon skinline is one of Riot’s most consistent. High Noon has been putting out quality since the early Yasuo days, and Samira slots right in. She joined alongside High Noon Katarina, Leona, Mordekaiser, and Viktor in that batch. Solid company. The thematic just works for ADCs who want to feel like gunslingers, and Samira’s kit with the style rating system translates perfectly into a Wild West showdown fantasy.

10 chromas total. Obsidian is the standout for me, turns the whole palette dark and gritty which suits the bounty hunter vibe better than base. Nomad has this cool icy blue and red split that reads uniquely in game. Tanzanite goes purple which kinda feels like it belongs in a different skinline entirely but some people dig it. Not sure if it’s just me but the Paragon chroma looks cleaner than half the other options combined.

Is High Noon Samira worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: this is a strong Epic tier skin. 1350 RP feels fair for what you get. New VFX, solid recall, good splash, and 10 chromas if you want variety. Shop has it permanently so no rush.

Where it falls compared to her other skins – Space Groove is flashier, PsyOps has the edge on ult satisfaction. But High Noon Samira hits a sweet spot between style and readability that I keep coming back to. Played maybe 40 games with it last season in Diamond and the VFX never got old. If you main Samira and you like the western aesthetic, this is a no-brainer. Skip it if you already own Space Groove and dont feel like spending more on the same champion. But for Samira mains specifically, been running this as my go-to since season 12 and I have zero regrets. Top pick for Samira mains who want something grounded instead of flashy. The High Noon fantasy just works here.
