Samira

Samira Skins

6 skins available

Samira has one of the leanest skin catalogs in League and honestly thats part of the appeal. Six skins total since her 2020 release, but the quality per skin ratio is nuts. Been maining her on and off since season 11 and I've watched her collection grow from just PsyOps to a legitimate lineup that includes an Ultimate tier entry. Not every champion gets that treatment four years into their lifecycle. Could be wrong here but I think Samira might have the highest floor of any ADC skin roster in the game right now. No filler. No throwaway 520 RP recolor collecting dust. Every skin here does something.

How Samira's Skin Collection Shaped Up

Six skins across five years. That's a slower pace than most ADCs get, but Riot clearly went quality over quantity with Samira. She launched in September 2020 bundled with PsyOps as her release skin, which already set a high bar at 1350 RP. Epic tier out the gate. Most champions get a basic 975 RP skin at launch and call it a day.

The tier breakdown tells the story pretty well. Four Epics, one Standard, one Ultimate. No Legendary sitting in the middle which feels like a missed opportunity honestly. But having Soul Fighter at 3250 RP as the crown jewel means Riot went straight to the top instead of stopping at 1820. Kinda feels like they knew Samira's kit was built for flashy premium skins. The combo system, the style grades, the ult spinning around her - all of it screams "give me particle effects."

From 2020 to 2025, she picked up a skin roughly once a year. PsyOps at launch, Space Groove dropped during that whole disco era Riot was pushing, High Noon slotted her into one of the biggest skinlines in the game, Soul Fighter gave her the Ultimate treatment, and then Masque of the Black Rose and Battle Professor rounded things out more recently. Not a single Legacy vault skin in the bunch. Everything's accessible which is nice for newer Samira players trying to build a collection.

Real talk though. Six skins might sound small next to someone like Lux or Ezreal, but when four of them are Epic and one is Ultimate, you're not hurting for options. The price floor is 1350 RP for most of her catalog. Budget options are limited to that one Standard tier skin but I'll get into that later.

Best Skins for Samira

Soul Fighter Samira. Full stop. This is the skin. 3250 RP Ultimate tier and it earns every point. Been spamming this in Diamond since it dropped in season 13 and the evolving model alone justifies the price. Her Q changes feel different at each stage, the W windwall gets progressively more detailed particle work, and by the time you're popping R in a late-game teamfight the screen just lights up. The style grade system already built into her kit meshes perfectly with the Soul Fighter evolving mechanic. It's like Riot designed the skinline specifically around her gameplay loop.

Not gonna lie, I keep coming back to PsyOps Samira more than I expected. Release skin bias is real but this one holds up. The military-tech aesthetic on her blade and guns reads clean in lane, the R spin has that purple-black energy field that doesn't clutter your screen during teamfights. At 1350 RP its a safe pick for anyone who wants something different from base without going full premium. (Random aside: I still think PsyOps as a skinline peaked with Samira and Sona.)

High Noon Samira fits her fantasy better than maybe any other skin in her catalog. Gunslinger champion gets a Western skin. Obvious choice but Riot executed it well. The Q pistol shots have that dusty trail effect, E dash leaves a smoke puff, and the ult sounds like a saloon shootout. Played maybe 40 games with this one last split and the auto attack sounds alone make it worth considering. Crisp. Satisfying.

Space Groove Samira is the wildcard pick. Polarizing. The disco aesthetic either clicks for you or it doesnt. Personally I rotate it in when I'm not taking ranked too seriously. The recall animation is S-tier, might be the best recall in her entire collection. But the in-game particles are busy. Like really busy. In a chaotic teamfight around dragon pit I've lost track of my own abilities because everything is neon pink and teal. Fair warning - if you play on lower graphics settings some of the effects get muddy.

Battle Professor Samira from the Battle Academia line is her newest addition. Fits the anime-inspired theme well enough. Could be wrong here but I think this one's going to age nicely once people get past the initial reaction. The school uniform aesthetic on a champion who dual-wields weapons is funny in concept but Riot made it work visually.

Skinlines and Where Samira Fits

Six skins, six different vibes. Samira touches High Noon, Space Groove, Soul Fighter, PsyOps, Black Rose, and Battle Academia. That's solid diversity for a champion with a relatively small catalog. No repeat skinlines which means every purchase feels distinct.

High Noon is the natural fit. Been saying this since season 12. Samira's entire kit revolves around guns and a blade and she has a literal style rating system built in. Western gunslinger fantasy was a no-brainer and Riot delivered. The skinline is also one of the most popular in League so she's in good company alongside High Noon Lucian, Yasuo, and the rest of that crew.

Soul Fighter is where she really shines though. The fighting game aesthetic, the evolving model, the tournament bracket theme. It all works because Samira already plays like a fighting game character. Combo into S rank, press R, win the round. Might be overthinking it but I genuinely believe Soul Fighter was designed with Samira as the anchor champion. She got the Ultimate tier entry while everyone else in the line got Epic or Legendary. That says something.

PsyOps gave her the tactical military look which contrasts nicely with her flashy personality. Space Groove went full retro disco. Black Rose brought the Noxian intrigue angle which makes sense lore-wise since Samira is literally from Noxus. Battle Academia rounds it out with the anime school fighter vibe. No two skins occupy the same space. (Sidebar for Samira mains specifically: you probably already own three of these minimum.)

Budget vs Premium Picks

Here's where Samira's catalog gets tricky. Her price floor is basically 1350 RP for most options. Four Epic skins at that price point and then Soul Fighter jumping to 3250 RP. The one Standard tier skin exists but options at the budget end are thin.

If you're climbing ranked and want one skin, PsyOps at 1350 is the value pick. Clean particles, good sound design, no visual clutter to mess with your gameplay. High Noon at the same price is equally solid if the Western theme hits harder for you. Both punch at their weight class.

Soul Fighter at 3250 RP is expensive. Obviously. But Ultimate skins are rare and Samira's is genuinely one of the better ones in the game. The evolving mechanic tied to her passive style grades means you're seeing the skin transform every single game in a way that feels earned. Not just a form swap you toggle in fountain. If you one-trick Samira and play her 300 games a season, the cost per game math works out. Locked in this skin for most of last season in my Diamond games and dont regret the purchase.

Real talk though - if you can only buy one Samira skin ever, go Soul Fighter if budget allows, PsyOps if it doesn't. Simple choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Samira have?

Samira has 6 skins total as of 2025. Not the biggest collection for an ADC but the quality is there. Four Epics, one Ultimate, one Standard. No Legendary yet which I think is a matter of time. Every skin is available in the shop or through crafting so nothing's locked behind legacy vaults.

What is the best Samira skin?

Soul Fighter Samira. Not close. The Ultimate tier treatment with evolving model states tied to her passive grade system is perfectly designed. Been running this in ranked since release and the visual progression every game feels rewarding. If budget is tight, PsyOps Samira at 1350 RP is the best Epic option. Clean effects, no clutter.

What is the cheapest Samira skin?

The Standard tier skin is her cheapest option. Most of Samira's catalog sits at 1350 RP Epic tier though, so the budget floor is higher than average. Honestly not a bad thing since even her cheapest options have solid particle work. No 520 RP recolors in this lineup.

Does Samira have a Legendary skin?

No Legendary at 1820 RP yet. She skipped straight to Ultimate with Soul Fighter at 3250 RP. Kinda unusual honestly. Most champions get a Legendary before an Ultimate but Riot went big. I think a Legendary is coming eventually though. Feels like a gap in her catalog that needs filling.

What skinlines is Samira in?

Six different skinlines: PsyOps, Space Groove, High Noon, Soul Fighter, Black Rose, and Battle Academia. No repeats which keeps every skin feeling fresh. High Noon and Soul Fighter are the standouts. Black Rose ties into her Noxian lore which is a nice touch for players who care about that stuff.

Does Samira have chromas?

Several of her Epic skins have chroma options. The usual spread of Ruby, Obsidian, and the rest. Space Groove chromas go especially hard if you want to lean into specific color palettes for the disco vibe. Worth checking in the shop if you already own the base skin and want variety without buying a whole new one.

When was Samira's last skin released?

Masque of the Black Rose Samira dropped in 2025. Her newest skin as of now. The Black Rose theme ties into Noxian lore which fits since Samira operates out of Noxus. Before that it was Battle Professor Samira from the Battle Academia line. She's been getting roughly one skin per year since launch.

Is Samira worth buying skins for?

If you main her, absolutely. Her kit is one of the most visually dynamic in League. The combo system and R spin mean you actually see your skin's particle effects constantly. Not like some champions where the ult fires once every teamfight. Samira shows off skin work every engage. Soul Fighter especially makes the purchase feel justified game after game.
