Risen Legend Vayne

First game I loaded into with Risen Legend Vayne, my support pinged the skin three times in fountain. Not sure if it’s just me but there’s something about how Vayne looks in this one that just commands attention before minions even spawn. The Risen Legends line hit different for Vayne specifically. She already has this cold, calculated hunter vibe and the celestial ascended theme layers on top of that perfectly.

How Risen Legend Vayne actually looks in game

So this is a Mythic tier skin, and it delivers about what you’d expect from that bracket. The model rework is clean. Vayne’s silhouette keeps that recognizable crossbow-forward stance but everything gets the divine treatment. Gold and white armor plating, ethereal glow effects on the cape, the whole ascended warrior package. Looks expensive on the Rift.

Voice lines stay base, no VO refresh here. Thats fair for the tier honestly. The auto attacks have a satisfying weight to them visually even without a full VFX overhaul. Her Tumble (Q) animation reads well in lane, you can track the roll clearly which matters more than people think when you’re kiting back from a Darius running at you with Ghost.

The W proc rings still pop but with the Risen Legends color palette they blend into the skin’s aesthetic better than base Vayne’s silver bolts. Been running this in Diamond for about three weeks now and the E (Condemn) stun feels visually cleaner against walls. Could be placebo. Probably is. But I’ll take it.

No new recall animation which is a mild disappointment. For a Mythic skin I think most people expect at least a custom recall, but Riot’s been inconsistent with what Mythic actually guarantees. The splash art carries weight though. Vayne standing atop what looks like a celestial ruins backdrop, crossbow aimed downward like she’s already decided you’re dead. Strong composition.

Risen Legends and where this skin fits

The Risen Legends skinline is one of those thematic lines that Riot drops without a ton of fanfare. Not like Spirit Blossom or Star Guardian where there’s a whole event. Risen Legends just shows up, looks gorgeous, and sits in the shop. Kinda feels like the line deserves more love than it gets.

No confirmed release date in the data I have, which happens sometimes with Mythic tier drops. Similarly no listed RP price, which tracks because Mythic skins often sit in the Mythic Essence shop or come through special acquisition paths. Available now though. Shop has it.

(Random aside: I’ve been collecting Vayne skins since season 9 I think or 10 dont remember, and this one immediately went into my top 3 rotation alongside Spirit Blossom and PROJECT.)

Two chromas come with Risen Legend Vayne. Paragon shifts the palette into icy blue and deep purple territory. Honestly the Paragon chroma reads almost like an entirely different skin at certain angles, the blue tones against the Rift’s green just pop in a way base Risen Legend doesn’t. Mythclimber goes pink and gold which feels more regal, more “I’m ascending and I know it” energy. Both worth picking up if you commit to the skin.

Where Risen Legend ranks in the Vayne collection

Vayne has a massive skin catalog at this point. Dragonslayer, PROJECT, Spirit Blossom, Soulstealer, Dawnbringer, Dragonmancer. The list goes on. Real talk though, Risen Legend Vayne holds its own in that lineup. It occupies a specific fantasy niche that none of the others really touch.

PROJECT is your cyberpunk option. Spirit Blossom is the elegant pick. Soulstealer if you want flex value since its rare. Risen Legend Vayne fills the “divine warrior” slot and it does it well. Played maybe 40 games with it across two weeks and it hasnt gotten stale yet. Last Thursday around 2 AM I was in a ranked game where my Kayn kept invading their jungle and I got three solo kills bot lane. The skin just felt right. Condemn into wall, three W procs, dead. Clean.

For Vayne mains specifically, you already know whether you want this. The Mythic tier means it’s not a casual impulse buy. You’re either investing in the champion or you’re not. Been maining Vayne on and off since like season 6 and I rotate between four skins depending on mood. Risen Legend earned a permanent spot.

Straight talk: if you one-trick Vayne or she’s in your top 3 ADC picks, Risen Legend Vayne is worth the Mythic investment. The Risen Legends thematic suits her kit identity perfectly. Paragon chroma specifically elevates it beyond the base version. Skip it if Vayne is just someone you lock in when your main gets banned. But for mains? S-tier Vayne cosmetic. The two chromas give you enough variety to keep it fresh across a full season of climbing, and the base model holds up in teamfights where visual clarity actually matters for your backline positioning.
