Yuumi Skins
10 skins availableYuumi's skin catalog is one of those collections where every single option sits at the same price point and I'm not sure if thats a blessing or a curse. Ten skins deep since 2019, all Epic tier except one Mythic Prestige, and honestly the quality variance between them is way bigger than you'd expect from a champion who literally sits on another champion. Been playing Yuumi on and off since her release, mostly as a pocket pick when my duo wants to play Lucian or Draven, and I've cycled through most of these skins in ranked. Some hit different. Some feel like Riot phoned it in. Here's the full breakdown from someone who has actually attached to enough ADCs to have opinions.

How Yuumi's Skin Collection Shaped Up
Ten skins in five years. For a champion released in 2019, that's a solid pace. Not Lux-level oversaturation but Riot clearly knows the enchanter audience opens wallets. Battle Principal Yuumi dropped the same year she launched, which tells you Riot had plans for this cat from day one. Could be wrong here but I think they already had the skin in development before she even hit live servers.
The tier breakdown is interesting because it's almost entirely uniform. Nine Epics at 1350 RP each, one Mythic Prestige. No Legendary. No Ultimate. No budget 975 or 520 option either. Every Yuumi skin costs the same, which means your decision is purely about aesthetics and not about how much you want to spend. Kinda feels like Riot boxed themselves in with that pricing strategy.
The timeline runs from Battle Principal in 2019 all the way to Cyber Cat in 2024. Roughly two skins per year if you average it out. Season 9 through season 14 coverage. Not gonna lie, the 2021-2022 stretch was peak Yuumi skin output. Heartseeker, EDG Worlds skin, Yuubee, Bewitching all dropped in that window. Then things slowed down a bit.
What stands out is the thematic range. You've got a cat in a school uniform, a cat covered in bees, a cat in a witch hat, a cat as a Shiba Inu. Riot really leaned into the "cute creature in costume" angle for every release. Makes sense. Yuumi's design is basically a canvas for adorable concepts. The one exception might be Nightbringer Yuumi which goes darker, but even that one stays pretty tame compared to what Nightbringer did to champions like Yasuo or Kayn.
Best Yuumi Skins Worth Locking In
Prestige Cyber Cat Yuumi sits at the top for me. Full stop. The Mythic version takes the cyberpunk cat theme and coats it in that signature gold and white Prestige palette. Her Q tracking missile gets this clean neon trail, the W attach animation has visible circuit patterns, and the recall is genuinely one of the better Prestige recalls I've seen on an enchanter. (Random aside: my support duo changed her summoner icon to match this skin the day it dropped.) The downside is accessibility. You needed Mythic Essence or the event pass grind, so most players dont have it.
Battle Principal Yuumi holds up surprisingly well for a 2019 skin. The Battle Academia line gave her this school uniform with a floating book that replaces her normal one, and the ability VFX swap to these sharp blue and gold particles. Her E heal has this starburst effect that reads clean in teamfights. Been running this in my Diamond games when I want something classic. Five years old and it still competes with newer releases.
Heartseeker Yuumi is the Valentine's pick and honestly it's better than it has any right to be. Pink and red palette, heart-shaped Q projectile, the W attach shows little hearts floating between you and your ADC. Played maybe 30 games with this one last February during the event and it just fits the champion fantasy perfectly. Yuumi is already about love and attachment, literally. The theme writes itself.
Yuubee. The bee skin. Look, I know the Bees skinline is polarizing but Yuumi as a bee works on every level. The buzzing sound effects on her abilities, the hexagonal honey patterns on her E shield, the recall where she produces honey. Might be overthinking it but I think this is the most creative Yuumi skin from a concept standpoint. Not the flashiest but the most committed to its bit.
Bewitching Yuumi rounds out my top five. Halloween 2022 release, witch hat on a cat, her book becomes a spellbook with cobwebs. The W trail leaves little ghost particles when you hop between allies. Solid execution. Nothing groundbreaking but the seasonal theming carries it. I usually swap to this every October in my ranked games and keep it there through November.
Skinlines and Where Yuumi Fits
Eight different skinlines across ten skins. That's a lot of thematic variety for a relatively young champion. Battle Academia was first, and it set the tone for Yuumi skins going forward: take the cat, put her in a themed outfit, adjust the book and particles accordingly. Simple formula. Works every time.
The Heartbreakers line (Heartseeker specifically) is probably the most natural fit. Yuumi's entire kit revolves around bonding with an ally. A Valentine's theme for a champion whose gameplay identity is literally "I love you so much I'm sitting on you" is about as on-the-nose as Riot gets. Real talk though, the execution matched the concept here which doesnt always happen.
Cats Versus Dogs gave us Shiba Yuumi which is the funniest conceptual choice. A cat dressed as a dog. The irony sells it. Nightbringer Yuumi goes edgy but I think it clashes with the champion's personality. Yuumi's voice lines are playful and cute. Slapping a dark corrupted aesthetic on that feels like it's fighting against the champion's core identity. Could just be my preference but the lighter themes work better on her.
World Champions EDG Yuumi exists as a competitive commemoration from 2021 Worlds. It's fine for what it is. Esports skins serve a different purpose than regular cosmetics. If you watched EDG win Worlds and Meiko's Yuumi was part of that memory for you, the skin has value beyond visuals. For everyone else it's a pass. The Anima Squad connection through Cyber Cat brought Yuumi into the mecha-military universe late in 2024, which was an unexpected but welcome direction.
Budget vs Premium Picks for Yuumi
Here's the thing with Yuumi. There is no budget option. Every skin is 1350 RP except Prestige Cyber Cat which you cant buy directly anyway. So the question isn't "should I spend 520 or 1350" because Riot never gave Yuumi a cheap skin. Your floor is 1350.
Given that reality, the best value depends on what you care about. If you want the most unique VFX per RP spent, Yuubee or Bewitching give you the most visual distinction from base Yuumi. If you want something clean and competitive-looking, Battle Principal still holds up. Not sure if it's just me but Battle Principal's particles actually feel easier to track in chaotic teamfights than some of the newer skins with busier effects.
For premium hunters, Prestige Cyber Cat is the only option above Epic tier. Worth chasing if you're a Yuumi one-trick. For everyone else who plays her occasionally in ranked when the comp needs an enchanter, any 1350 skin will do. Pick the aesthetic you like. 1350 feels fair for what you get on most of these. The quality floor is high even if no single skin reaches Legendary heights.
Honestly my recommendation for someone buying their first Yuumi skin in season 14: Bewitching or Heartseeker. Both have clean particles, strong thematic identity, and look great in the loading screen splash. (Sidebar for enchanter mains specifically: the splash arts on Yuumi skins are consistently some of the cutest in the game, which matters when you're staring at that loading screen every game.)
Frequently Asked Questions
How many skins does Yuumi have?
Yuumi has 10 skins total as of 2024. Nine Epic tier at 1350 RP each plus one Mythic Prestige. Solid collection for a champion who's only been out since 2019. Roughly two skins per year on average. No Legendary yet which is kinda surprising given how popular she is with the enchanter crowd in ranked.
What is the best Yuumi skin?
Prestige Cyber Cat Yuumi if you have access to it. Best particles, best recall, cleanest overall package. For shop-available skins, I'd say Bewitching Yuumi or Battle Principal depending on your vibe. Bewitching has the seasonal charm, Battle Principal has aged like fine wine since 2019. Both solid picks for climbing with.
What is the cheapest Yuumi skin?
Every purchasable Yuumi skin costs 1350 RP. There's no budget 520 or 750 option. Riot never made a cheap Yuumi skin which is honestly annoying if you just want something different from base without dropping full Epic price. Your best bet for a deal is waiting for the Your Shop discount rotation or getting lucky with Hextech crafting.
Does Yuumi have a Legendary skin?
No Legendary skin for Yuumi yet. Her highest tier is Mythic with Prestige Cyber Cat Yuumi. Feels like a missed opportunity honestly. A Legendary with new voice lines and completely reworked animations would sell well given how many Yuumi mains exist. Maybe season 15. No announcements that I know of though.
What skinlines is Yuumi in?
Yuumi appears in eight skinlines: Battle Academia, Heartbreakers, Bees!, Bewitching, World Champions 2021, Cats Versus Dogs, Anima Squad, and Nightbringer/Dawnbringer. Huge thematic range. The lighter cute-themed lines like Bees and Heartbreakers fit her best in my opinion. Nightbringer feels a bit forced on a champion this cuddly but it exists.
Does Yuumi have chromas?
Several Yuumi skins have chroma sets available. Most of her Epic skins launched with chromas. The chroma options give you color palette swaps on the cat, book, and particle effects. Some chromas genuinely change the vibe of the skin. Worth checking if you find a skin you like but want a different color scheme for your ranked games.
When was Yuumi's last skin released?
Cyber Cat Yuumi and its Prestige variant dropped in 2024 as part of the Anima Squad event. That was the most recent addition to her collection. Before that there was a bit of a gap. Wouldn't be surprised if another skin shows up in 2025 given Riot's pace with enchanter cosmetics. They know the audience buys.
Is Yuumi worth buying skins for?
Depends on how much you play her. If she's your main enchanter for ranked then absolutely, the skins add visual flavor to a champion you spend a lot of time on. If you only pick her once every 20 games when someone dodges your main, probably skip it. One skin is enough for occasional play. Mains and one-tricks should grab two or three to rotate.
