Nami Skins
14 skins availableNami is one of those champions where the skin catalog actually matters more than you'd expect. Been playing her on and off since season 3, mostly as a secondary pick when my main support gets banned, and I've cycled through probably ten of her skins at this point. Fourteen total in the collection now. Some are genuine standouts that change how the champion feels in lane, and a couple are honestly forgettable recolors that exist because Riot needed to fill a patch cycle. Not gonna lie, the highs here are really high though.

3 skinsHow Nami's Skin Collection Grew Over the Years
Koi Nami dropped back in 2012 alongside her release. Standard stuff for that era. Riot was still figuring out what "premium" meant for skins, so those early ones are basically texture swaps with maybe a color shift on her W. Three Standards in the catalog from that period and they show their age hard.
The real glow-up started around season 6 or 7. Deep Sea Nami was the first skin where I thought okay, Riot actually cares about this champion's cosmetics. Eight Epics in the lineup now, which is the bulk of what you're choosing from. Some hit harder than others. Program Nami exists and thats about the nicest thing I can say about it. Cosmic Destiny though? Different story entirely.
Two Mythics in the roster feels generous for an enchanter support. Prestige Space Groove and Sunken Shadows both carry that exclusive weight. Had to grind event tokens for the Prestige version back when it dropped and honestly the gold accents make it worth the effort. Could be wrong here but I think Nami has one of the better Mythic selections among supports.
Then there's Coven. One Legendary at 1820 RP and it absolutely earns that price tag. From 2012's basic recolors to 2025's Mythmaker Nami, the progression tells a clear story. Riot learned what works on water-based champions and leaned into it. Thirteen years of skins. Wild to think about.
The tier breakdown across all fourteen reads like this: three Standards for the budget players, eight Epics that form the core selection, two Mythics for collectors, one Legendary for mains who want the best. Decent spread honestly. Not every champion gets that kind of range (looking at you, Rell).
Best Nami Skins to Lock In
Coven Nami. Full stop. This Legendary does everything right and I've been spamming it in ranked since it came out. The entire water theme gets replaced with dark magic energy on every ability. Her Q bubble becomes this swirling vortex of purple and black, the W bounce reads so clean between allies and enemies, and the ult? Massive tidal wave of coven energy rolling down lane. New voice lines carry the skin hard. Been running this exclusively for months in my Diamond games and the recall animation alone is worth the 1820 RP.
Prestige Space Groove Nami sits at number two for me. The gold and white color scheme on an enchanter just works. Might be overthinking it but the auto attack particles feel smoother than base Space Groove. E buff on your ADC looks clean with the gold sparkles. Exclusive skin obviously so you either have it or you dont at this point.
Deep Sea Nami is the sleeper pick nobody talks about. 1350 RP, dark underwater aesthetic, and her abilities get this bioluminescent glow that pops on Summoner's Rift. Played maybe 150 games with this one back in season 9 I think. The Q especially looks menacing, like an anglerfish lure pulling enemies in. Great value Epic.
(Random sidebar: Deep Sea Nami's splash was my desktop background for an embarrassingly long time during college.)
Cosmic Destiny Nami deserves a mention. Part of the Cosmic skinline and the star-themed particles on her W bounce are genuinely beautiful. The E shimmer effect when you buff your lane partner gives this celestial trail that reads well in teamfights. Not quite Coven tier but it's close for less RP.
SKT T1 Nami rounds out my top five. Worlds skins carry sentimental value if you watched the 2016 season and honestly the blue and gold palette fits Nami's silhouette well. Kinda feels like it gets overlooked because esports skins aren't flashy, but in game the ability effects have this subtle championship gold tint. Solid Epic for the price.
Skinlines and Where Nami Fits
Eight different skinlines across fourteen skins. That's variety. The Forgotten Depths line (Deep Sea) fits Nami's ocean fantasy perfectly. She's literally a water mage. Putting her in an abyssal horror theme is the most natural choice Riot could make and they executed it well.
Cosmic line is another strong fit. Nami's flowing animations translate beautifully into celestial particle effects. Cosmic Destiny feels like it was designed for her specifically even though the line includes a bunch of other champions. The healing bounce on W with star trails? Chef's kiss situation.
Program Nami though. Real talk though, the tech/digital skinline on an organic water champion feels forced. Played three games with it last season around midnight after buying it on sale and immediately went back to Coven. The digital water effects look like someone ran her kit through a Tron filter and called it done. Not every skinline works for every champion and this is proof.
Space Groove fits surprisingly well. The retro funk aesthetic gives Nami this playful energy that matches her personality in lore. Groovy water effects, disco-ball particles on the ult. Fun skin for normals when you're not sweating in ranked. The Urf the Manatee line gave us Urf the Nami-tee which is obviously a meme skin but it lands if you're into that humor.
Immortal Journey (Splendid Staff) and Fables (Mythmaker) both lean into Eastern fantasy themes. They work fine on Nami. Nothing groundbreaking but nothing offensive either. Middle of the pack thematically.
Budget vs Premium Picks for Nami
The three Standard skins (750 RP range) are Koi, River Spirit, and Urf the Nami-tee. Koi and River Spirit are genuinely just texture changes. No new particles, no new sounds. Voice lines stay base. If you're climbing on a budget these are fine but you're not getting much beyond a different color Nami.
Urf the Nami-tee at least has the comedy factor. It's a joke skin and it commits to the bit.
For best value? Deep Sea at 1350 RP punches way above its weight class. New particles on every ability, dark atmospheric theme, solid splash art. Been telling every support player in my friend group to grab this one during sales. 675 RP on a 50% off is a steal for what you get.
If budget isn't an issue, Coven at 1820 RP is the definitive Nami experience. New VO, new animations, transformed ability effects. The gap between Coven and the next best option is noticable. Fair warning, once you play Coven Nami for a week straight everything else feels like a downgrade. That's the Legendary tax. Worth it for mains, skip it if Nami is your fourth support pick.
Epic tier (1350 RP) is where most of your good options live. Eight skins at that price point means you have choices. Cosmic Destiny and Bewitching are both strong if Coven's dark aesthetic isn't your style.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many skins does Nami have?
Fourteen skins total as of 2025. Three Standards, eight Epics, two Mythics, and one Legendary. Pretty solid collection for an enchanter support. Been building up since her 2012 release and Riot drops a new one roughly every year now. Not a bad spot to be in compared to some champions still sitting at six or seven.
What is the best Nami skin?
Coven Nami. The only Legendary in her catalog and it earns every RP. New voice lines, completely transformed ability VFX, dark magic aesthetic. Been my go-to Nami skin since it dropped. Deep Sea and Cosmic Destiny are solid runners-up if you want something cheaper at 1350 RP each.
What is the cheapest Nami skin?
Koi Nami at 750 RP is the cheapest you can buy in the shop. It's basically a texture swap from her release year. River Spirit sits at the same price. Honestly for the cost difference between 750 and 1350 you're better off saving for Deep Sea. The particle upgrades alone justify the extra RP.
Does Nami have a Legendary skin?
Yeah, one Legendary. Coven Nami at 1820 RP. Full package deal: new VO, new animations, transformed particles on every ability. The dark coven aesthetic replaces her water theme with shadowy magic energy. Best skin in her collection by a wide margin honestly. Worth the premium if you play her regularly in ranked.
What skinlines is Nami in?
Eight different skinlines. Forgotten Depths, Cosmic, Space Groove, Program, Immortal Journey, World Champions 2016, Urf the Manatee, and Fables. Forgotten Depths and Cosmic fit her best thematically. Program is the weakest fit in my experience, digital water effects just feel off on a champion thats literally an ocean spirit.
Does Nami have chromas?
Several of her Epic skins have chroma sets. Cosmic Destiny, Bewitching, Space Groove, and Mythmaker all got chromas. If you grab one of those skins on sale, the chroma bundles add solid variety. Obsidian chromas tend to look cleanest on Nami since the dark tones contrast her fluid animations well.
When was Nami's last skin released?
Mythmaker Nami in 2025. Part of the Fables skinline with the Eastern fantasy aesthetic. Before that was Sunken Shadows which was also relatively recent. Riot's been keeping Nami's catalog fresh, which makes sense given her consistent pick rate in support. She's not getting forgotten any time soon.
Is Nami worth buying skins for?
If you play support regularly, absolutely. Nami's water-based abilities translate beautifully into different skin themes. The particle effects on her W bounce and R tidal wave look noticeably better on skins like Coven and Deep Sea. Even budget options at 750 RP change the vibe. She's a champion where skins genuinely improve the visual experience in lane.
