FAQ
Where is the Roblox Avatar Shop?
roblox.com/catalog from a browser, or the Avatar Shop tab inside the mobile app and console client. Direct URL: roblox.com/catalog.
Are all items real Roblox?
Items with “By Roblox” as the creator are official Roblox cosmetics. Everything else is UGC (user-generated content) through the UGC program. Both are legitimate purchases on the platform.
How do I get free items?
Filter Avatar Shop → Price → Free. Also watch the Roblox news blog for event drops. Legitimate free items are 0 Robux and claim directly from Roblox — never from third-party sites promising “free Robux”.
What’s a Limited item?
Items with fixed total stock. Once sold out, you can only buy from the Trade market where current owners list resale prices. Limited items can gain or lose value over time.
What’s the difference between Limited and Limited U?
Limited U (Unique) items are serialized — each individual copy has a unique number stamped on it. Low-serial copies (#1, #10) are prized by collectors and resell for premiums.
Why won’t my item equip?
Avatar type mismatch. Switch between R6 and R15 in your Avatar settings. Some items require R15 (newer body rig); others only fit R6 (classic). Head items can also conflict with bundle head shapes.
Can I sell items I bought?
Only Limited / Limited U items can be resold via the Trade system. Regular Robux-priced items cannot be resold or refunded unless within the 72-hour standard refund window.
