Roblox Premium per Month 2026: What Changed and What’s Left

Updated November 6, 2026
Roblox stopped selling new Premium memberships on April 30, 2026, and reduced the benefits of existing memberships on May 30, 2026. Players who had an active Premium subscription on those dates keep their monthly Robux stipend and trading access, but Roblox closed new signups. The 10% bonus on Robux purchases disappeared from every active subscription, and Roblox removed the Premium logo as well. The source for every claim below is Roblox’s own Premium Membership support article, verified on 6 November 2026.

The two dates that changed Premium in 2026
Roblox’s own notice, quoted verbatim:
- April 30, 2026: “Roblox Premium membership will no longer be available for purchase. Existing Roblox Premium subscribers may retain their existing subscription. However, should they cancel, the option to resubscribe will no longer be available.”
- May 30, 2026: benefits changed. Roblox lists what stayed and what left.
What stayed, in Roblox’s own words:
- “You will continue to receive a monthly Robux stipend based on your plan.”
- “You will be able to trade and resell items.”
- “You will be able to publish avatar items and keep them on sale (Only if subscribed to Premium 1000/2200).”
What changed, quoted:
- “The 10% bonus on Robux purchases will end.”
- “The Premium logo will be removed.”
What Premium per month gives you now (if you still have it)
The monthly Robux stipend is the core Premium benefit that survived. The three tiers that existed before April 30 and kept their stipends:
| Tier | Monthly Robux stipend | Trading & reselling | Publish avatar items for sale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium 450 | 450 R$ / month | Yes | No |
| Premium 1000 | 1,000 R$ / month | Yes | Yes |
| Premium 2200 | 2,200 R$ / month | Yes | Yes |
The stipend arrives the day the membership renews each month. Roblox’s own line: “Renewals completed successfully will receive monthly Robux by the end of the renewal day.” To confirm the stipend hit the account, open My Transactions in the Robux dashboard and filter the type to Premium Stipends; the entry for that month lists the credited amount and the renewal date.
What is gone from Premium after May 30, 2026
Two historical Premium perks disappeared in the May 2026 rework:
- The 10% bonus on Robux purchases. Previously, buying 1,000 Robux as a Premium member credited the account with 1,100 R$. After May 30, 2026, Premium members pay the same price as non-Premium players for the same Robux package.
- The Premium logo on your profile. The small premium icon that appeared next to usernames in-game and on the website was removed.
Developer Exchange rates and the 70/30 marketplace split were never Premium benefits; they sit on the Creator Monetization side and nothing in 2026 changed that.
Cancellation — think twice before pressing it
Roblox’s rule for existing subscribers is one of the single most consequential sentences on the support page: “should they cancel, the option to resubscribe will no longer be available.” If you cancel an active Premium subscription after April 30, 2026, you cannot reactivate it later. Roblox permanently closed the offer.
Where to cancel, if you intend to proceed:
Desktop App or Web Browser: Log into the account that holds the membership → gear icon → Settings → Subscriptions → Cancel Renewal → confirm.
iOS: Device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Roblox → follow Apple’s cancellation steps.
Google Play (Android): Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → cancel the Roblox entry.
Roblox’s cancellation grace note: “If you cancel, you will continue to receive benefits for the remainder of the time you have already paid for.”
Why the Cancel button might be missing
Roblox lists four reasons that hide or grey out the Cancel button:
- The membership is already canceled or set to expire.
- The membership is currently renewing and cannot be canceled at this instant.
- You purchased a one-time membership via Windows or Amazon, which does not renew.
- You purchased via the mobile app. Roblox is explicit: “Premium Memberships purchased via a mobile app cannot be canceled inside Roblox itself; they must be managed through your device’s app store.”
Mobile-purchased Premium cancellation lives entirely in Apple’s or Google’s subscription management screens. Roblox cannot cancel it from its side.
Managing an active Premium membership
Roblox’s own Settings path: Settings → Subscriptions. On this page you can:
- View the renewal date.
- View the expiration date.
- Update the payment method, but only if the membership is processed via Stripe. Roblox’s note: “you can see if your purchase was processed via Stripe by checking your recurring membership receipt.”
Stripe is the payment processor for direct web subscriptions. Mobile-purchased memberships route through Apple or Google billing and cannot change payment inside Roblox.
Recurring versus one-time memberships
Roblox’s own rule: “Memberships purchased via the Roblox mobile app, desktop app, or Roblox website are recurring by default. They will automatically renew at the end of their term unless canceled. Roblox Premium memberships purchased through the Windows and Amazon app stores are not recurring.”
If you bought Premium through the Microsoft Store or Amazon, the subscription ends at the expiration date on its own. Everything else renews until canceled.
Renewal failures
Roblox’s failure handling, verbatim: “Most membership renewals are completed within 24 hours of the renewal date. In the event that the membership is unable to be renewed for any reason, further renewal attempts will be made over the next 72 hours. If we still cannot renew your membership, your Premium membership will be cancelled and you will not be able to re-subscribe.”
The 72-hour retry window matters now more than before. Prior to April 30, 2026, a failed renewal was a mild inconvenience — you could resubscribe anytime. After April 30, 2026, a failed renewal that is not resolved within 72 hours becomes a permanent membership loss. Update the payment method before the renewal date if there is any chance the card on file could decline.
Refunds — not available
Roblox is unambiguous: “No. Memberships are non-refundable. To prevent future charges, be sure to cancel your membership before the renewal date.” If you forget to cancel before renewal, the charge stands. This has not changed in 2026.
Price history before the April 30 closure
Before Roblox closed new Premium signups, the three tiers each had a public monthly price alongside the stipend. These prices were publicly listed on roblox.com/upgrades and do not apply to new purchases now, but existing subscribers still pay the price they signed up at. Historical tier pricing (USD, pre-closure):
- Premium 450 — about $4.99 per month, gave 450 Robux monthly and trading access.
- Premium 1000 — about $9.99 per month, gave 1,000 Robux monthly, trading, and avatar-item sale rights.
- Premium 2200 — about $19.99 per month, gave 2,200 Robux monthly with the same trading and avatar-item rights.
The prices above are historical and marked for reference only; Roblox does not offer any of them to new subscribers in 2026.
What to do if you still have Premium
Three practical habits for remaining Premium subscribers under the 2026 rules:
- Keep the payment method current. A card that expires or declines once could survive the 72-hour retry; a second failure ends the subscription permanently. Update the card at least a month before expiry.
- Collect the stipend on renewal day. Spend the monthly 450 / 1,000 / 2,200 Robux stipend inside Roblox or stockpile it for a future purchase. Unused stipend sits in your account balance until you use it.
- Do not cancel unless you are certain. The one-way rule applies: once canceled, Roblox will not let you resubscribe at any price. Pause-equivalents do not exist in the Premium settings.
What replaces Premium for new players
Roblox has not published a direct replacement for Premium. New players obtain Robux through four remaining paths:
- Direct purchase on roblox.com/upgrades/robux or through the mobile app in-app purchase catalog.
- Robux gift cards sold at major retailers.
- Developer Exchange (DevEx) for eligible creators who earn Robux through Marketplace sales or Premium Payouts.
- In-experience purchases that credit Robux-equivalent perks inside a specific game.
None of these replicate the Premium monthly stipend. Creators who earn consistently through DevEx may approximate the stipend in effect; players who only play do not have an equivalent monthly-Robux subscription product.
FAQ
Can I still buy Roblox Premium in 2026?
No. Roblox stopped selling Premium on April 30, 2026. Only players who had an active subscription before that date can still receive Premium benefits. New signups are not available.
If I had Premium and canceled, can I subscribe again?
No. Roblox’s rule is explicit: should existing subscribers cancel, the option to resubscribe will no longer be available. The decision to cancel after April 30, 2026 is permanent.
What happened to the 10% Robux bonus?
It ended with the May 30, 2026 benefit change. Premium members now pay the same price as non-Premium players for Robux packages. The monthly stipend is unchanged, but the discount on additional purchases is gone.
Do I still get my monthly Robux stipend?
Yes, if you still have an active Premium subscription that renews. Premium 450 gets 450 R$ per month, Premium 1000 gets 1,000 R$, and Premium 2200 gets 2,200 R$. The stipend arrives on the renewal day.
Can I transfer my Premium to another account?
No. Roblox’s rule: “Roblox Premium memberships are non-transferable.” The subscription is tied to the account that bought it.
What if my Premium renewal fails?
Roblox retries for 72 hours. If every retry fails, the subscription is cancelled and cannot be resubscribed under the 2026 rule. Update payment methods before the renewal date to avoid this outcome.
Is there a Premium-equivalent for new players?
Not within Roblox’s own subscription catalog as of November 2026. New players get Robux only through direct purchase, DevEx conversion, or gift cards. The Premium stipend path is closed to anyone who did not subscribe before April 30, 2026.
