Cafe Cuties Vladimir Skin - Splash, Price & Chromas

A blood mage in a barista apron was not what I had on my bingo card for late 2021, but here we are. Cafe Cuties Vladimir dropped December 2, 2021 and my first reaction was skepticism – thats too cute for Vladimir’s kit, gonna look wrong in actual fights. Loaded it up in a practice game that same evening and changed my mind inside the first three abilities. The concept works.

What actually changes with Cafe Cuties Vladimir

For an Epic this skin delivers solid VFX work across the full kit. The blood pool aesthetic gets recoated in warm browns and creamy off-whites – Q puddle, W pool, the whole thing reads like spilled espresso instead of crimson. Not sure if it’s just me but the W actually looks cleaner on screen here than base Vladimir, tracking your sustain in mid-lane poke is easier when the visual is warm caramel instead of deep burgundy clashing with terrain.

E hits feel lighter too. The blood surge animation carries soft coffee-cream tones through the charge stacks. Proc-ing the empowered E in a teamfight has this satisfying pastel burst that reads well even in chaotic multi-person dives. Been running this in Diamond since shortly after it dropped and there’s zero complaints about visual clarity from teammates – the effects are distinct without being distracting.

New recall is a proper highlight. Vladimir sits at a little cafe table, does something charming with a cup (sidebar: I screenshotted this recall and sent it to my duo partner who mains Diana, she actually said it was cute, which means a lot coming from her). Voice lines stay base – Kevin M. Connolly’s VO holds up fine, no new lines needed here. Base voice, no changes.

The Cafe Cuties skinline launched December 2021 alongside Bard, Gwen, Jinx, Lulu, Poppy, Soraka, and Rumble. Whole batch hit that same patch, pretty big rollout that season. Francis Tneh and West Studio handled the Vladimir splash. Good splash. The composition puts him in an apron over dark clothing with a coffee setup in the foreground, and somehow the vampire-mage energy still bleeds through the pastel framing. That contrast between horror archetype and cozy aesthetic is exactly what makes Cafe Cuties work on Vladimir.

Obsidian goes near-black and honestly looks sharper than the base skin in certain map areas. Rose Quartz stays soft, sticks closest to the original Cafe Cuties aesthetic. Is Cafe Cuties Vladimir worth 1350 RP?

Real verdict: yes, for Vladimir mains. The VFX refresh makes the kit feel different enough to matter when you’re spamming Vladimir through Diamond climb and need something that doesn’t feel like homework after 200 games. The recall is one of the better ones in the Cafe Cuties batch. Chroma options give you range from soft-pastel to near-gothic with the Obsidian. Shop has it permanently – no vault, no event gating, just sitting there when you want it.

1350 RP feels fair for the package. If you one-trick Vladimir, lock it in without much debate. If you pull Vladimir out occasionally for specific teamfight comps, maybe wait for a sale. But for anyone who considers Vladimir a main? Worth it.
