Crime City Skins
All 7 skins in the Crime City skinline. Browse splash art, chromas, and detailed reviews for every Crime City skin in League of Legends.
Crime City is one of those skinlines that feels like Riot sat down and said "what if League champions ran a 1920s speakeasy." Not gonna lie, the concept hits harder than it has any right to. Seven skins deep, spanning from 2010 all the way to 2018, and the whole line carries this noir gangster aesthetic that you either love immediately or forget exists. Been rocking Crime City skins on and off since season 3, mostly on Graves and Twitch, and there's something about loading into a ranked game looking like you just walked out of a Scorsese film. The vibe is pinstripes, Tommy guns, and cigar smoke. Clean.

What Sets Crime City Apart on the Rift
Kinda feels like Crime City occupies this weird middle ground in League's skin catalog. It's not flashy like Star Guardian. Not edgy like Dark Star. It's just... stylish? The whole line leans into a Prohibition-era gangster fantasy with muted color palettes, dark suits, fedoras, and weapon reskins that swap magical abilities for something that looks like it belongs in a mob warehouse. Think deep purples, blacks, and golds across the board.
The splash arts tie the line together better than the in-game models honestly. Every Crime City splash has this smoky, dimly-lit atmosphere. Back alley deals. Neon signs reflected in rain puddles. That kind of thing. The artists went hard on establishing a consistent world even if the skins themselves are mostly texture swaps at the Standard tier.
Could be wrong here but I think Crime City works because it doesn't try to be more than it is. Compare it to something like Odyssey or PROJECT where you've got lore dumps, animated shorts, and event passes. Crime City just says "here's your champion in a suit" and lets you lock in. No event. No prestige grind. Just skins.
What ties the champions together thematically is the criminal underworld angle. Every champ in the lineup feels like they belong in some kind of heist crew or mob operation. MF is the boss. Twitch is the rat informant (literally). Lee Sin is the enforcer. Graves runs muscle. Braum is the muscle who's secretly nice. Jinx is the loose cannon. Gragas is the guy who owns the bar. It writes itself.
One thing that bugs me though. The line never got a proper event or cinematic. (Random aside: imagine a Crime City animated short in the style of Arcane. Riot please.) Seven skins across eight years and no real narrative push. Feels like a missed opportunity when you look at what they did with Crime City Nightmare later, which is basically the dark supernatural spinoff of this same concept.
Best Crime City Skins Worth Your RP
Real talk though, Knockout Lee Sin carries this entire skinline on his back. Easily the standout. It's one of the two Epics in the line at 1350 RP and you can tell where the budget went. Lee Sin in boxing wraps and a sleeveless vest, throwing hands like hes in an underground fighting ring. The Q animation has this satisfying impact feel to it. Been spamming this in Diamond jungle games and the auto-attack cancels just feel crisp with the skin. Something about the sound design on the punches. Could be placebo but I swear my combos land cleaner.
Crime City Braum is the other Epic and honestly its underrated. 1350 RP for Braum in a pinstripe suit holding a vault door as his shield. The W dash looks clean, the E shield wall has this metallic sheen to it. Played maybe 40 games of Braum support last season with this skin specifically because it made the peel feel more satisfying. Your ADC might not notice but you will.
Crime City Miss Fortune at 975 RP. Standard tier but a solid pickup for MF mains. She's got the femme fatale look down perfectly. Dark dress, dual pistols that actually look like pistols instead of magical whatever. No new VFX or anything, its a Standard skin, but the model swap alone sells the fantasy. Locked this in plenty of times in bot lane.
Crime City Twitch surprised me. Not sure if it's just me but Twitch in a trench coat with a crossbow that looks like a silenced weapon just works. The sneaky rat assassin angle fits his kit so well. 975 RP, Standard tier, base voice lines, but the thematic fit carries it. Played this one back in season 6 I think when I was climbing through Plat and it felt right for the late-game flanks.
Gragas, Esq. might have the best skin name in the entire game. Period. Gragas in a business suit. That's it. That's the skin. 975 RP for a fat man in formal wear throwing barrels. The comedy factor alone makes it worth owning. Not the best skin mechanically but every time I see one in my games it gets a laugh out of me. Seen maybe 5 total in ranked this whole year.
The Crime City Champion Roster
Seven champions. Not a huge roster but honestly the selection makes sense. Miss Fortune as the crime boss is the obvious anchor. She's got the look, the attitude, the dual-wielding pistols. Natural fit. Graves is another easy pick for a gangster line. The man already looks like he robs banks in his base skin so putting him in Crime City is basically just making it official.
Twitch as the informant rat is inspired casting. His whole sneaky assassin playstyle maps perfectly onto a noir criminal. The invisibility, the ambush from stealth, the poison that slowly kills you. Might be overthinking it but Twitch might be the most thematically coherent pick in the whole line even if his skin is just Standard tier.
Lee Sin as a bare-knuckle boxer type. Fits the enforcer role. Braum as the gentle giant bodyguard with a vault door. Gragas as the bar owner who launders money on the side. Jinx as the unhinged demolitions expert. Every single one maps onto a mob archetype without feeling forced.
Who's missing though? (Sidebar: I've been thinking about this since like 2019 and nobody at Riot seems to care.) Jhin would be perfect. An artistic hitman in a Crime City suit? Come on. Twisted Fate is literally a card shark gambler, how does he not have a Crime City skin. Caitlyn as the detective trying to bring the whole operation down. There's so much design space here that Riot just left on the table.
Maybe just my experience but I feel like the roster stopped growing because Riot pivoted to Crime City Nightmare in 2021 which took the concept supernatural. Akali, Twisted Fate, and Shaco got the Nightmare treatment instead. Different aesthetic entirely. The original Crime City line hasnt gotten a new skin since Jinx in 2018. Four years of nothing before Nightmare showed up. That tells me the original concept is probably done.
Tier and Price Breakdown
Five Standards and two Epics. That's the whole line. No Legendaries. No Mythics. No Ultimate. Crime City is a budget-friendly skinline which honestly works in its favor. You're looking at 975 RP for the Standards and 1350 RP for Knockout Lee Sin and Crime City Braum.
The Epics do the heavy lifting quality-wise. Both Lee Sin and Braum got new VFX, recall animations, and model work that justifies the 1350 price tag. The Standards are pure model swaps with maybe minor particle tinting. Fair for 975 but don't expect the world.
Not gonna lie, I wish at least one Crime City skin had gone Legendary. 1820 RP Crime City Miss Fortune with a full gangster VO, new voice lines about running the Rift like a business, unique interactions with Graves and Jinx. That would've been an instant buy. Instead the line stays affordable but never really reaches its ceiling. The two Epics carry the whole thing while the five Standards are decent costume changes and nothing more.
Price range of 975 to 1350 means you can grab the entire collection for less than some single Ultimate skins cost. Not a bad deal if you play multiple Crime City champs. Last Tuesday I was looking at my skin collection and realized I owned five of the seven without even trying. They're cheap enough that you pick them up on sale and forget about it.
Crime City Skins FAQ
How many Crime City skins are there?
Seven Crime City skins total as of 2024. The line started back in 2010 and the last addition was Crime City Jinx in 2018. Not a huge roster but every champion in it fits the gangster theme pretty well. Don't confuse these with Crime City Nightmare which is a separate supernatural spinoff line that launched in 2021.
What is the best Crime City skin?
Knockout Lee Sin. Not even close. It's the highest quality skin in the line at Epic tier with proper VFX updates, a solid model, and clean animations. Crime City Braum is second. The five Standard skins are decent but Knockout Lee Sin is the one worth going out of your way for. Been my go-to Lee Sin skin for ranked since I got it.
Which champions have Crime City skins?
Miss Fortune, Twitch, Lee Sin, Gragas, Graves, Braum, and Jinx. Seven champs total. Each one maps onto a mob archetype. MF runs the operation, Twitch is the informant, Lee Sin is the enforcer, Graves is muscle, Braum is the bodyguard, Gragas owns the bar, and Jinx handles demolitions. Solid crew.
Does Crime City have Legendary skins?
No Legendaries in the original Crime City line. The highest tier is Epic at 1350 RP, which covers Knockout Lee Sin and Crime City Braum. The other five are all Standard at 975 RP. Could be wrong here but I dont think Riot has plans to add a Legendary to this particular line since they shifted focus to Crime City Nightmare.
When did the Crime City skinline release?
The first Crime City skins dropped in 2010 with Miss Fortune and Twitch. The line got additions over the years through 2018 when Crime City Jinx was the last one added. Eight-year span for seven skins. Riot took their time with this one. The Nightmare spinoff came later in 2021 as a separate thing entirely.
Are Crime City skins worth buying?
Depends on the specific skin. Knockout Lee Sin at 1350 RP is absolutely worth it for Lee mains. Crime City Braum is solid too. The Standards at 975 are fine if you like the aesthetic but they're just model swaps, no new effects. Grab them on sale if the gangster fantasy appeals to you. Not must-haves but good value for the price.
Do Crime City skins have chromas?
Most of the original Crime City skins launched before chromas were standard practice at Riot. The older Standards from 2010-2015 generally don't have chromas. Some of the newer additions picked up chroma sets. Check the individual skin pages for exact counts. The line overall isn't known for chroma variety compared to newer skinlines.
Will Riot make more Crime City skins?
Honestly doubt it. The last original Crime City skin was 2018 and Riot pivoted to Crime City Nightmare in 2021 which is a supernatural horror take on the same concept. Fair warning, if you're hoping for more classic mobster skins you might be waiting forever. The Nightmare branch seems to be where Riot takes this theme going forward. Would love to be wrong though.
