Roblox Linked Accounts let you sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Xbox instead of a Roblox username and password — link at Settings → Linked Accounts, use any linked service to sign in instantly on new devices, and keep your original Roblox credentials as a backup (Roblox recommends you keep them). Verified on 7 November 2026.

How to link
- roblox.com → Settings (gear) → Account Info → Linked Accounts section.
- Click Link beside the provider you want.
- Browser redirects to the provider’s sign-in (Google / Apple / Microsoft).
- Authorize Roblox to see your email + name.
- You’re returned to Roblox with the link established.
Signing in after linking
- Roblox login page → click “Sign in with Google” (or Apple / Microsoft).
- Sign in to that provider → you’re logged into Roblox instantly, no username needed.
- If the provider account is already signed in on the device, Roblox login is one tap.
- You can still use your Roblox username + password at any time.
- 2SV on Roblox applies either way — linked login doesn’t bypass 2SV.
Keep your Roblox password
Roblox explicitly recommends keeping your original Roblox credentials even after linking:
- If the linked provider is compromised or deleted, you can still sign in with Roblox credentials.
- Password recovery requires email on file; verify your Roblox email is working.
- Enable 2SV on Roblox itself, not just on the linked provider.
- Some actions (DevEx cash out) require Roblox-side verification regardless of link.
Unlinking
- Settings → Linked Accounts.
- Click Unlink beside the provider.
- Confirm with Roblox password.
- Link is removed. Your Roblox account is unchanged.
- You can re-link later if you want.
If linked login isn’t working
- “Account already linked”? → the Google/Apple/MS account is linked to another Roblox account. Sign in to that other Roblox account first (via its Roblox username + password) and unlink there.
- Google sign-in loops? → sign out of Google in the browser, then try again fresh.
- Apple sign-in on macOS fails? → check Safari → Settings → Websites → Sign in with Apple ID is enabled.
- Microsoft sign-in on Xbox doesn’t work? → make sure the Xbox is signed into the same MS account you linked.

What is a linked Roblox account?
Your Roblox account connected to Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Xbox so you can sign in with that provider instead of your Roblox username and password.
Do I lose my Roblox password if I link?
No. Linking is additive — your Roblox username and password still work. Roblox recommends keeping those as a backup in case your linked provider becomes unreachable.
