How to redeem
- Go to roblox.com/redeem in a web browser.
- Sign in to your Roblox account.
- Enter the PIN from the back of the gift card (scratch off the covering panel).
- Click Redeem.
- Roblox confirms the balance added to your account (either Credit or Robux based on card type).
How to spend Roblox Credit
Credit is web-browser-only. Three spending paths:
- Visit roblox.com/upgrades/robux.
- Select a Robux package your Credit covers.
- Pay with Credit (not credit card) at checkout.
Credit cannot be used in Roblox mobile or desktop apps — must use a web browser.
How to spend Robux
Robux (from Amazon/Party Packs cards or direct purchase) spends anywhere:
- In-experience purchases (passes, developer products, items).
- Marketplace avatar items.
- Roblox Premium subscription.
- Gift-giving to other players (within Marketplace limits).
Common redemption failures
Four frequent issues:
- Invalid PIN. Re-check for scratched-off digits or confusion between similar characters (0 vs O, 1 vs I). Contact retailer if damaged at point of sale.
- Already redeemed. Someone else redeemed the card first (common with resold cards). Contact the retailer.
- Region mismatch. Gift cards from one country may not redeem on accounts in another. Match card and account region.
- Account issues. Suspended or terminated accounts can’t redeem cards.
If the card is damaged
If the PIN panel is damaged beyond reading:
- Keep the receipt from where you bought the card.
- Take the damaged card and receipt back to the retailer.
- Retailer may exchange for a working card.
- Roblox cannot validate damaged PINs — the retailer owns damage disputes.
Gift card expiration
Roblox gift cards do NOT expire. Once purchased, the PIN remains valid indefinitely until redeemed. Credit on the account also does not expire.
However, some retailer-specific terms may differ — check the fine print on the card packaging.
Gift-giving best practices
If buying a gift card for someone:
- Match the recipient’s region — a US card doesn’t work on an EU account.
