Quinn ARAM Build and Guide

Updated for patch 26.21. Ability details come from Riot’s official game data for this patch; ARAM balance numbers come from the League of Legends Wiki’s champion data.

A Quinn ARAM build is a marksman build with Critical Strike and extra range, so she can mark targets and hit them from safety. The Howling Abyss helps. In ARAM Quinn deals 110% damage, takes 90% damage, attacks at 102.5% Attack Speed and has 120% tenacity in ARAM. Vault and Harrier don’t change, but the numbers behind them do.

Every item below was chosen by matching it to something her patch 26.21 abilities actually do, and we left win-rate pages out of it entirely.

How is Quinn changed in ARAM?

ARAM modifier Quinn
Damage dealt 110%
Damage taken 90%
Attack Speed 102.5%
Tenacity 120%

Four buffs, which is a lot (count the table again if you like). Her damage climbs 10%, the damage she takes drops 10%, her attacks come a touch faster, and crowd control on her ends sooner. Why the generosity? Quinn’s real strength on the Rift is roaming with Behind Enemy Lines, and roaming means nothing on a single lane. Without that, she’s a marksman with a short-ish range for her class (it’s 525), so the modifiers bring her up to par with the rest of the pool.

Why does Quinn work on the Howling Abyss?

Because Vault gives her a way to peel divers off herself, and Harrier keeps marking new targets in a fight full of them. Riot’s patch 26.21 text:

  • Harrier (passive): Valor marks enemies every so often, and her first attack on a marked target deals bonus physical damage.
  • Blinding Assault (Q): Valor marks a target, hinders its vision, then damages the area around it. Cooldown 11/10.5/10/9.5/9.
  • Heightened Senses (W): bonus Attack Speed and Move Speed after hitting a Harrier target; activate to reveal a large area. Cooldown 50/45/40/35/30.
  • Vault (E): dashes to an enemy for physical damage and a slow, then bounces back off, briefly interrupting them, landing near max attack range. Cooldown 12/11/10/9/8.
  • Behind Enemy Lines (R): she flies at great speed with Valor, casting Skystrike when it ends to damage nearby enemies and mark champions with Harrier. Cooldown 3.

Look, Vault is the star. When a diver reaches her, she dashes to them, slows them, briefly interrupts them and lands back at max range, which is exactly what a marksman wants in a mode full of assassins and bruisers. Harrier keeps the damage flowing, since Valor marks a new target periodically and each mark is a bonus hit. Behind Enemy Lines? Mostly a way to get back from the fountain fast (handy after every death), and Skystrike marks everyone it hits on landing.

What should a Quinn ARAM build focus on?

Attack Speed, Critical Strike and range. Honestly, range matters more than usual here, because her base attack range is short for a marksman and the Abyss is a long corridor of poke.

Kraken Slayer goes first. Its Bring It Down passive adds bonus physical damage to every third attack, scaling with how much Health the target is missing, and her early fights mostly happen against targets already chipped by the team’s poke. It brings 40% Attack Speed, 45 Attack Damage and a bit of Move Speed.

Rapid Firecannon is second, for range. Every Energized shot gets Sharpshooter’s treatment, 35% more Attack Range plus 40 bonus magic damage. On a 525 range marksman, that one long shot is a free hit before the enemy can close in.

Third, Infinity Edge, with 75 Attack Damage and 30% Critical Strike Damage. Simple. Put simply, it’s what turns two Critical Strike items into real damage.

Lord Dominik’s Regards closes the four. Giant Slayer adds up to 15% bonus damage against champions based on their bonus Health, peaking at 1500 bonus Health, and 35% Armor Penetration handles the tanks that random teams love to stack. Berserker’s Greaves round out the feet, 30% Attack Speed for a champion who lives on autoattacks.

How do you play Quinn on the Howling Abyss?

  • Save Vault for divers. It dashes to them, slows and briefly interrupts them, then puts you back at max range.
  • Hit Harrier targets first. The first attack on a marked enemy deals bonus damage and triggers Heightened Senses.
  • Open fights with Blinding Assault. It hinders the target’s vision before damaging the area.
  • Use Behind Enemy Lines to return to the fight after respawning; Skystrike marks everyone it hits.
  • Stay behind your frontline. Her range is short for a marksman, so positioning matters more than for most.

How do no-recall shopping and Mark change Quinn’s game?

There’s no recall here. Items come from the fountain, at the start and after a death, with lane relics as the only healing in between. Quinn has no self-heal, so a few rounds of poke leave her low. That’s the reason to rush Kraken Slayer and keep fights short (a long fight with no sustain rarely ends well for a marksman).

Mark puts a snowball in a summoner slot; landing it lets you dash to the target. You pick summoners before loading and keep them. Quinn already has Vault, so Mark is mostly a chase tool for finishing a fleeing target. To be fair, Flash is often the better pick on a marksman. In practice, Behind Enemy Lines covers most of her mobility needs anyway.

Is Quinn good in ARAM?

Yes. The 110% damage dealt, 90% damage taken, 102.5% Attack Speed and 120% tenacity modifiers all work in her favour, and Vault is one of the better self-peel tools a marksman can have. Her limits are range and sustain: 525 range is short for her class, and nothing in her kit heals.

The top laners who give her trouble are listed in our Quinn counters article. Top? That’s her usual Rift home, explained in our guide to the five roles. Every item’s numbers are in the LoL items database, and her cosmetics fill the Quinn skins page.

That makes the Quinn ARAM build Kraken Slayer, Rapid Firecannon, Infinity Edge and Lord Dominik’s Regards on Berserker’s Greaves, with Vault held for the first diver.

What items should Quinn build in ARAM?

Kraken Slayer, Rapid Firecannon, Infinity Edge and Lord Dominik’s Regards, with Berserker’s Greaves.

Why Rapid Firecannon on Quinn?

Quinn dashes to an enemy, dealing physical damage and slowing them, then leaps off, briefly interrupting the target, and lands near her maximum attack range away.

How was this Quinn build chosen?

Every item matches part of her patch 26.21 kit. We didn’t use win rates to pick any of them.
