Naafiri ARAM Build and Guide
Updated for patch 26.21. Ability details come from Riot’s official game data for this patch; ARAM balance numbers come from the League of Legends Wiki’s champion data.
Naafiri gets two ARAM buffs: 110% damage dealt and 10 ability haste. The haste is a modest bonus, nothing dramatic. Her kit sends a pack of darkin hounds at one target, and on the Howling Abyss, where fights are constant and nobody recalls, every bit of haste gets used.
Naafiri’s pack gets items picked for their effect text this patch. We don’t use win-rate data.

How is Naafiri changed in ARAM?
| ARAM modifier | Naafiri |
|---|---|
| Damage dealt | 110% |
| Ability haste | 10 |
10% bonus damage helps her all-ins land harder, and honestly, the 10 ability haste is a small bonus on top, bringing Darkin Daggers and Eviscerate back slightly sooner in a long teamfight.
Why does Naafiri’s kit work on one lane?
Five enemies, one lane, nowhere to hide.
That’s her setup. She wants a target she can see and reach, and ARAM hands her both for free.
- We Are More (passive): packmates spawn and attack the targets of her attacks and abilities. In grouped fights the pack always has someone to bite.
- Darkin Daggers (Q): up to two daggers that inflict bleed. If the target is already bleeding, each dagger deals bonus damage instead. Packmates leap to the first champion hit, which in a packed lane is almost every cast.
- Eviscerate (E): a dash that damages enemies in an area and fully heals her packmates. Mid-fight, this keeps the pack alive through poke.
- The Call of the Pack (W): Naafiri becomes untargetable, spawns extra packmates, and gains Move Speed and Attack Damage. More dogs and more AD on top of your lethality make the next all-in hit significantly harder.
- Hounds’ Pursuit (R): she and the pack dash at a champion. On takedown she reveals nearby enemies and can recast once for a shield. Nowhere to run on this map.
What holds her back? 125 attack range. Every skillshot the enemy throws down that lane will find her on the walk up, and she has no ranged waveclear to farm safely from behind her team.
What should a Naafiri ARAM build focus on?
Lethality and enough defense to survive the dive. The mode adds 10 ability haste on top of whatever you buy, so haste from items still stacks with it. Spend gold on damage first, then a way to stay alive after going in. Profane Hydra (55 Attack Damage, 18 Lethality, 10 Ability Haste) has a Cleave passive that splashes physical damage around her attack target, plus an active, Heretical Cleave, that bursts an area around her. When she dashes into a group with E or R, that AoE layers on top of what the packmates are already doing, and it doubles as her best waveclear option on this map.
Edge of Night (50 Attack Damage, 15 Lethality, 250 Health) also carries a spell shield, so the first enemy ability thrown at Naafiri bounces off. For what it’s worth, one blocked stun can save an entire all-in (people underestimate how much one spell shield matters when you’re the one running at five). The 250 Health helps too.
Death’s Dance (60 Attack Damage, 50 Armor, 15 Ability Haste) spreads a percentage of damage taken over 3 seconds instead of hitting all at once. When a champion she damaged within 3 seconds dies, Defy cleanses the stored damage and restores health over 2 seconds. Her R chains into takedowns by design, and Death’s Dance rewards exactly that pattern.
For the fourth slot, look at Hubris (55 Attack Damage, 18 Lethality, 10 Ability Haste). When a champion she damaged within 3 seconds dies, she gains 90 Attack Damage plus 3 per champion killed for {{item:6697:fx:Eminence:4}} seconds. Feast or famine, sure, but on an assassin whose cooldowns are already near zero the snowball gets out of hand. Every item’s full stats are in the LoL items database.
How do you play Naafiri on the Howling Abyss?
- Poke with Q before you go in. Darkin Daggers applies bleed at range and sends packmates at the first champion hit. In practice, two or three Qs soften a target enough for the all-in.
- W before R, always. The Call of the Pack adds packmates, Attack Damage, and Move Speed. Pop it right before Hounds’ Pursuit for maximum burst.
- Don’t R five healthy enemies. Hounds’ Pursuit is a finisher. Wait for your team’s poke to bring someone low, then jump.
- E heals the pack. Eviscerate fully heals packmates on cast, so use it mid-fight to keep the dogs alive, not only for the gap close.
- Pick up health relics when you can. Melee champions burn through HP just walking up, and there’s no recall to heal.
How do shopping and Mark change the plan?
You can’t recall to buy in ARAM.
You buy at the fountain on spawn and after each death, so queue up your next purchase before you go down. Between deaths, Naafiri tops up from lane health relics and nothing else.
Mark throws a snowball. Hit an enemy, then recast to dash to them. For Naafiri, it’s a third gap closer on top of R and E. Thing is, she already has two dashes built in (E and R), so Mark is less critical for closing gaps. Still take it, you’re locked into summoner spells once the game starts.
Is Naafiri good in ARAM?
With 10 ability haste and 110% damage dealt? She’s well-suited to ARAM with those buffs.
The constant ability cycling turns her into something closer to a bruiser in extended fights, throwing Q after Q while the pack tears through targets.
Heavy CC comps shut her down. Three or four stuns and she can’t reach anyone even with Edge of Night up, but if they only drafted one or two stuns she runs the game without much resistance. Rift is a different animal, the Naafiri counters guide covers that side. Check the Naafiri champion page for skins, or browse our champion guides for other ARAM picks.
FAQ
Is Naafiri buffed in ARAM?
Yes. She deals 110% damage and gets 10 ability haste, according to the League of Legends Wiki’s ARAM data.
What does Naafiri’s passive do?
We Are More spawns packmates that attack the targets of her attacks and abilities. The passive works the same as on Summoner’s Rift, but the ARAM ability haste buff means abilities that interact with packmates come off cooldown much faster.
What items should Naafiri build in ARAM?
AD and lethality items like Profane Hydra, Edge of Night, Death’s Dance, and Hubris. ARAM gives her 10 ability haste for free, so the build focuses on damage and survival first.
Does The Call of the Pack make Naafiri untargetable?
Yes. When she casts W, Naafiri becomes untargetable, spawns additional packmates, and gains Move Speed and Attack Damage.
Is this build based on win rates?
No. Patch 26.21 item and ability text is all this Naafiri build uses.
