Soraka Skins

17 skins available

Soraka has one of the most slept-on skin catalogs in the entire game. Seriously. Three Legendaries on a support champion? Riot clearly knows who keeps the lights on in solo queue. Been a Soraka player since season 4 and watched this collection grow from budget recolors to some genuinely impressive stuff. Not every skin hits, but when Riot gets Soraka right, they get her right. The range here is wild - 520 RP throwbacks sitting next to 1820 RP productions that completely transform how she feels on the Rift.

How Soraka's Skin Collection Grew Over the Years

Seventeen skins total spanning 2010 to 2024. That's fourteen years of cosmetic history on one champion. Divine Soraka kicked things off back in 2010 when skin design basically meant "here's a different color palette, enjoy." Not complaining though. Those early skins have a charm to them that newer releases cant quite replicate.

The tier breakdown tells an interesting story. Four Standards from the early days, nine Epics making up the bulk of her modern catalog, three Legendaries, and one Mythic. Could be wrong here but I think Soraka might have the highest Legendary count of any enchanter support. Three full Legendary skins is insane for a champion that most people associate with pressing W and hoping their ADC stops taking bad trades.

The real turning point was around season 8 or 9. Before that, Soraka skins were fine. Functional. Nothing to write home about. Then Riot started putting actual budget into her releases and the quality jumped hard. Star Guardian came first as an Epic and set the tone. Dawnbringer followed as a full Legendary and basically proved that Soraka could carry a premium skin line.

Faerie Court Soraka landed in 2024 as the newest addition. Good skin. The collection feels complete in a way that not every champion can claim - she has budget options, midrange picks, and premium showpieces. Whether you dropped ten bucks or fifty on Soraka cosmetics over the years, there's something in here worth using.

Best Skins for Soraka

Dawnbringer Soraka is the one. Full stop. Locked this skin in for maybe 300 ranked games across two seasons and never got tired of it. The W heal has this golden radiance effect that actually makes your teammates feel like they're being saved by something divine. Q drops a sunburst on the ground that reads cleanly in teamfights. The ult? Massive golden wings spread across the map indicator. Been spamming this in Diamond and honestly the skin just makes you play better because the visual feedback is so crisp.

(Random aside: my duo partner who mains Lucian refuses to play bot lane with me unless I have Dawnbringer equipped. Says the other skins "don't give the same energy." Whatever that means.)

Nightbringer Soraka sits right next to Dawnbringer and its basically the edgy mirror version. Same Legendary quality, completely different vibe. Dark purple and crimson VFX replace the golden warmth. The Q feels more aggressive somehow, like you're actually trying to hurt people instead of just proccing your passive heal. Might be overthinking it but the darker color palette makes her E silence zone way more intimidating in lane. Real talk though - if you already own Dawnbringer, Nightbringer can feel redundant. They're two sides of the same coin and you'll gravitate toward one.

Immortal Journey Soraka is the third Legendary and the most recent premium release. East Asian fantasy aesthetic with flowing robes and ink-wash ability effects. The W animation has these calligraphy brush strokes that spread across your ally. Gorgeous skin. The recall animation alone is worth the 1820 RP for some people. Played maybe 50 games with it last split and the only complaint is that the Q ground indicator can be slightly harder to read against certain terrain. Minor issue.

Prestige Star Guardian Soraka. Mythic tier. Not something you can just grab from the shop. Had to grind the event pass back when it dropped or get lucky with Mythic Essence later. The white and gold version of Star Guardian hits different from the base purple. Cleaner. More refined. If you have it, you flex it. Simple as that.

Reaper Soraka deserves a mention even though she's "just" an Epic at 1350 RP. Dark hooded aesthetic that turns the healer fantasy completely on its head. Kinda feels like playing a different champion entirely. The contrast between her kit - literally a healer - and the death reaper visual is what makes it work. S-tier concept for the price point.

Skinlines and Themes That Fit Soraka

Soraka shows up across a bunch of skinlines but not all of them suit her equally. Star Guardian is the obvious fit. Magical girl healer archetype? Thats literally her entire identity translated into an anime lens. The base Star Guardian skin and the Pajama Guardian variant both live in this space, plus the Prestige version. Three skins in one skinline. Riot knew what they were doing.

The Dawnbringer/Nightbringer cosmic duality line is where she arguably shines brightest though. Soraka's lore already deals with celestial themes and sacrifice. Putting her into a literal angel vs demon framework just works on every level. Not sure if it's just me but these two skins feel more "canon Soraka" than her actual base skin does at this point.

Program Soraka exists and its... fine. Tech-themed skinlines on magical champions always feel forced to me. The hexagonal ability effects look clean enough but nothing about Soraka screams "robot." Played it for a week in season 10 I think and went right back to Dawnbringer.

Winter Wonder is cute. Legitimately cute. The candy cane staff and snowflake particles work for ARAM or normals with friends. Wouldn't bring it into ranked personally but thats a vibe thing not a quality thing. (Sidebar for support mains specifically: holiday skins in ranked always get question mark pinged by your jungler. Every time.)

Elderwood and Spirit Blossom both tap into the nature fantasy angle. Spirit Blossom Soraka released with strong VFX and a cohesive theme that fits her healer identity well. Cafe Cuties went the opposite direction - playful, lighthearted, completely detached from her celestial roots. Sometimes thats exactly what you want though. Variety matters in a 17-skin catalog.

Budget vs Premium - Getting the Most for Your RP

The price range here runs from 520 RP up to 1820 RP on the Legendary end. Big spread. Not gonna lie, the budget options on Soraka are weaker than average compared to other champions. Dryad and Divine are ancient skins from 2010 that basically just swap her outfit colors. Order of the Banana is a meme skin at 750 RP and honestly it holds up better than it should. The banana staff never stops being funny even after hundreds of games.

For the best value pick, Reaper Soraka at 1350 RP punches way above its weight class. New model, solid VFX, completely different thematic direction. Hard to argue against 1350 RP for that package. If you're climbing ranked on a budget and want one Soraka skin that feels premium without the Legendary price tag, Reaper is it.

Now if you're a Soraka one-trick and money isnt the concern - Dawnbringer at 1820 RP is the move. New VO, new animations, ability VFX that make your heals feel impactful. Full Legendary price, earns it. The three Legendaries combined would run you 5460 RP which is steep, but spread across years of playing her it averages out. Been daily driving Dawnbringer since it released and the cost per game at this point is basically zero. Fair warning - once you go Legendary on Soraka, the Epic skins start feeling like downgrades. That's the trap.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Soraka have?

Soraka has 17 skins as of 2024. Solid collection for a support champion. The catalog spans from 2010 to 2024 with everything from budget 520 RP recolors to three full Legendary releases at 1820 RP each. Plus a Mythic Prestige. Not bad for a healer that half the playerbase forgets exists until she's in their game.

What is the best Soraka skin?

Dawnbringer Soraka. First choice for mains, no question. The golden VFX on her W and ult feel incredible and the new voice lines actually add personality. Nightbringer is the edgy alternative if you prefer dark aesthetics. Both are Legendary tier at 1820 RP. Spammed Dawnbringer for two seasons straight and never switched off.

What is the cheapest Soraka skin?

Dryad Soraka and Divine Soraka both sit at 520 RP. They're old skins from 2010 though, basically texture swaps with no new particles or animations. Order of the Banana at 750 RP is a better budget pick honestly. The meme value alone carries it. Wouldnt recommend the 520 options unless you're collecting everything.

Does Soraka have a Legendary skin?

Three of them. Dawnbringer, Nightbringer, and Immortal Journey - all 1820 RP with new voice lines, animations, and completely reworked VFX. Three Legendaries on an enchanter support is kind of crazy when you think about it. Most champions are lucky to get one. Soraka mains eat well.

What skinlines is Soraka in?

A bunch. Star Guardian (plus Pajama variant and Prestige), Dawnbringer/Nightbringer, Elderwood, Program, Death Sworn (Reaper), Winter Wonder, Cafe Cuties, Spirit Blossom, Immortal Journey, and Faerie Court. The Star Guardian and cosmic duality lines fit her best in my opinion. Program feels forced but the rest work.

Does Soraka have chromas?

Several of her Epic skins have chroma sets available. Star Guardian, Cafe Cuties, Spirit Blossom, and Faerie Court all got chromas on release. The chroma counts vary but most sets have 6-8 options. Obsidian and Pearl tend to be the standout picks across the board. Worth grabbing if you already own the base skin.

When was Soraka's last skin released?

Faerie Court Soraka dropped in 2024. Epic tier at 1350 RP. Fairy aesthetic with floral VFX on her abilities. Solid release that fits her enchanter identity well. Before that was Flora Fatalis, so Riot's been keeping Soraka in the rotation pretty consistently. No drought complaints from Soraka mains lately.

Is Soraka worth buying skins for?

If you play support regularly, absolutely. Soraka's kit is visually driven - heals, ground zones, global ult - so skin VFX actually matter more than on most champions. The Legendaries transform how she feels in game. Even at the Epic tier, skins like Reaper completely change her vibe. Worth it for mains, maybe grab one Epic if you play her casually.
