Lissandra Skins

9 skins available

Lissandra's skin catalog is one of those collections that feels underrated until you actually sit down and look through it. Nine skins total across a decade of releases, and honestly most of them hit. Been maining her on and off since season 3, locked her in during my Diamond promos last split, and I keep coming back because the champion just works. The ice witch fantasy translates well into different themes, and Riot figured that out early. Not every skin is a winner but the hit rate here is surprisingly high for a champion who doesn't sell like Lux or Ahri.

How Lissandra's Skin Collection Shaped Up Over the Years

Bloodstone Lissandra dropped alongside her champion release back in 2013. That was the only Standard tier skin she got, priced at 975 RP. Everything after went Epic at 1350 RP or higher. Kinda feels like Riot realized early that Lissandra's kit translates beautifully into different visual themes because the ability animations give artists a lot to work with. Ice pillars, ring of frost, that massive ult - plenty of surface area for VFX changes.

The collection spans from 2013 all the way to 2023 with Prestige Porcelain Lissandra closing things out. Nine skins in ten years. Not exactly getting a new one every patch, but she's not forgotten either. Seven Epics, one Standard, one Mythic. No Legendary which honestly surprises me. (sidebar for Lissandra mains: we been asking for years and Riot just pretends we dont exist)

What stands out is how different each skin feels. You go from Bloodstone's dark crystal vibe to Program's digital matrix aesthetic to Coven's gothic witch energy. Real variety. Season 9 I think is when her catalog really started looking solid with Dark Cosmic dropping. Before that you had three skins and two of them were decent. After 2019 every release was strong.

The Mythic tier entry with Prestige Porcelain gave collectors something to chase in 2023. Special pricing, loot-based acquisition. Not everyone has it. Seen maybe four of these in my games since it came out. Rare enough to turn heads in champ select.

Best Lissandra Skins Right Now

Coven Lissandra is the one. Full stop. The dark witchy aesthetic fits her base fantasy so naturally that it almost feels like what Riot originally intended. The W ring of frost animation becomes this thorny vine circle that reads clean in teamfights. Her R entombs targets in dark energy instead of ice, and the ult self-cast looks incredible. Q fires off with trailing dark particles. Could be wrong here but I think the Coven skinline might be the single best thematic match for Lissandra in the entire catalog.

Dark Cosmic comes in close second. The cosmic horror angle works because Lissandra's lore already has those Void-adjacent Watcher connections. Her E claw animation through terrain looks like a tear in spacetime. Played maybe 150 games with this one in ranked and the VFX never got old. The recall animation where she opens a portal is clean. Purple and dark blue color palette reads well against Summoner's Rift.

Blade Queen Lissandra deserves more respect than it gets. Released back in 2015, Omen of the Dark skinline. The metallic armor design gives her a completely different silhouette. Her passive ice shard proc looks like dark metal fragments. Not gonna lie, this was my go-to for like three seasons straight before Coven came out and replaced it.

Program Lissandra is polarizing. You either love the digital matrix look or you think it clashes with her character. I lean toward liking it. The W animation becomes a digital grid circle and the R creates a data sphere around the target. Cool concept. Execution is solid for a 1350 skin. The green-on-black color scheme stands out in lane.

Prestige Porcelain rounds out the top five. Mythic tier, special acquisition. White and gold color scheme with porcelain textures on all abilities. Her Q ice shard becomes this elegant ceramic projectile. The E through walls leaves porcelain crack patterns. Premium feel throughout. If you managed to grab it during the event window, its one of the more distinctive Lissandra options.

Skinline Themes and How They Fit Lissandra

Eight different skinlines across nine skins. That's solid variety. Coven and Dark Star are probably the two that fit Lissandra's base identity most naturally. She's already a dark ice witch with ancient power connections - gothic horror and cosmic horror both play into that.

Program is the odd one out thematically. Digital Lissandra feels like a stretch, but honestly the execution carries it. Not sure if it's just me but the tech skins always look better on mages than on fighters. Something about spell VFX translating well into digital particles.

Porcelain was a surprise pick for her. The elegant Chinese ceramics theme seemed like it would go to someone like Lux or Karma, but Lissandra's abilities actually work well with the cracking porcelain visuals. Her W freeze in particular looks gorgeous with the ceramic shatter effect. Real talk though, the base Porcelain skin and the Prestige version are close enough in quality that the grind for Prestige felt questionable.

Space Groove Lissandra brought the disco energy. Bright colors, funky particles, groovy recall animation. Complete tonal shift from her usual dark themes. Been running this one in normals when I want something lighter. The Q fires off with these psychedelic trails and the R drops a disco ball on people. Fun skin. Wouldn't take it into ranked personally because the VFX can be distracting during teamfights, but thats a me problem.

Flora Fatalis is the newest non-Prestige addition. Plant-themed dark aesthetic. Her abilities get overgrown with thorns and vines. Fits better than you'd expect because the entangling ice theme just becomes entangling plant life. Similar control mage fantasy, different coat of paint.

Budget Picks vs Premium Options for Lissandra

Here's the thing with Lissandra's catalog. The price range is tight. 975 to 1350 RP for everything purchasable, with Prestige being the only outlier through crafting. No Legendary at 1820. No Ultimate. So the "budget vs premium" conversation is really just Bloodstone at 975 versus everything else at 1350.

Bloodstone at 975 is fine for what it is. New model, dark crystal theme, no new VFX or animations beyond what the texture changes give you. If you're climbing ranked and just want something other than base Lissandra, it does the job. Played this one back in season 4 before alternatives existed and it felt good enough.

At 1350 every Epic brings new VFX, new recall, sometimes new SFX. The jump from 975 to 1350 on Lissandra is worth it. Best value Epic is probably Coven or Dark Cosmic. Both change enough visually to feel like a different champion without costing more than any other Epic. 1350 feels fair for what you get on either of those.

Might be overthinking it but if I had to recommend exactly one skin to a new Lissandra player on a budget, it'd be Coven at 1350. Best thematic fit, clean VFX that don't obscure gameplay information, looks premium despite Epic pricing. (random aside: I've convinced three people in my friend group to buy Coven Lissandra and none of them regret it)

For collectors who want the rare flex, Prestige Porcelain is the chase piece. Special acquisition means most players won't have it. Whether the white-gold aesthetic beats Coven's dark witch look is personal preference. Think Coven wins on thematic coherence but Prestige wins on exclusivity.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins does Lissandra have?

Nine skins total as of 2023. One Standard tier at 975 RP, seven Epics at 1350, and one Mythic with Prestige Porcelain. Decent catalog for a champion who isn't one of Riot's top sellers. Been collecting them since season 3 and the quality stays consistent across the board.

What is the best Lissandra skin?

Coven Lissandra for me. No contest. The dark witch aesthetic fits her base fantasy perfectly and the VFX changes on W and R are the cleanest in her catalog. Dark Cosmic is a close second if you prefer the cosmic horror angle. Both are 1350 RP so pick whichever theme you vibe with more.

What is the cheapest Lissandra skin?

Bloodstone Lissandra at 975 RP. Her only Standard tier skin. Released alongside the champion back in 2013. No new VFX or animations, just a model and texture swap. Solid dark crystal look though. Gets the job done if you dont want to spend 1350 on an Epic.

Does Lissandra have a Legendary skin?

Nope. No Legendary at 1820 RP. Feels like a missed opportunity honestly. Her kit has enough going on with new VO, unique animations, and ability reworks to justify the tier. Maybe someday. The Mythic Prestige Porcelain is the highest tier she's reached so far. Mains been waiting though.

What skinlines is Lissandra in?

Eight skinlines across nine skins. Bloodstone, Omen of the Dark, Program, Coven, Dark Star, Porcelain, Space Groove, and Flora Fatalis. Real variety. Coven and Dark Star fit her best thematically. Space Groove is the wildcard fun pick. Program is the love-it-or-hate-it tech option.

Does Lissandra have chromas?

Several of her Epic skins come with chroma options. Coven, Porcelain, and Space Groove all have chroma sets available. If you're grabbing Coven I'd check the chromas because some of the color variants hit different. Obsidian on Coven Lissandra specifically goes hard. Worth the extra RP if you like variety.

When was Lissandra's last skin released?

Prestige Porcelain Lissandra in 2023. Mythic tier, special acquisition through the Porcelain event. Before that Flora Fatalis and Space Groove both dropped relatively close together. She's not getting a skin every year but Riot hasn't forgotten about her either. Hoping for something new soon.

Is Lissandra worth buying skins for?

If you play her regularly, absolutely. Her abilities translate well into different themes so the VFX changes on Epics actually feel worth 1350. She's a strong pick for climbing in ranked too, good engage and peel in teamfights. Grab Coven at minimum. One skin is all you really need but the catalog rewards collecting more than most champions.
