How to Reduce Valorant Size
There is no way to selectively uninstall maps or agents. Valorant does not support that. But you can:
- Delete old Riot Client logs: Navigate to
%LOCALAPPDATA%Riot GamesRiot ClientLogsand delete old log files. This can free a few hundred MB. - Reinstall cleanly if the install has grown much larger than 28 GB after many patches. A fresh install starts smaller.
- Move to a different drive using the Riot Client settings (Settings → Valorant → Change Install Location).
Download Speed
On a 100 Mbps connection, the initial 18 GB download takes about 25 minutes. The Riot Client does not throttle download speed by default, but you can set a limit in Riot Client settings if you need bandwidth for other tasks.
