WoW Midnight Player Housing: Neighborhoods Guide

Verified November 6, 2026 · Status: released
WoW Midnight introduced player housing on March 2, 2026 with instanced Neighborhoods — Founder’s Point for Alliance, Razorwind Shores for Horde — where players claim plots, decorate homes, and join monthly Endeavors. Blizzard: “When World of Warcraft: Midnight launches on March 2, it will bring with it an enormous new feature: player housing.” This page covers the Neighborhoods, plot system, Endeavors, and what launched vs what’s on the roadmap. Verified on 6 November 2026.

Neighborhoods — the two launch zones
- Founder’s Point. The Alliance Neighborhood zone.
- Razorwind Shores. The Horde Neighborhood zone.
- Each Neighborhood instance holds 50 plots.
- All housing content is instanced (not open-world), so there’s no plot-scarcity race.
How to get a house
- Install Midnight (any edition) or the pre-launch “The Warning” Prologue update.
- Travel to your faction’s Neighborhood zone (Founder’s Point or Razorwind Shores).
- Join a Neighborhood instance.
- Claim a plot — one per character to start.
- Start decorating with furniture, Class Hall replicas, and plushies.
Three ownership paths
- Solo. Earn your own house and plot in a public Neighborhood.
- With other players. Move into a shared Neighborhood with friends.
- Guild-run Neighborhood. Establish a Neighborhood instance tied to a guild.
Endeavors — monthly group activities
Blizzard: “Any player who lives in a Neighborhood will have the chance to participate in Endeavors held roughly once a month. An Endeavor is a Neighborhood-wide activity where players have to fulfill a group of tasks. The number of tasks scales with Neighborhood size.”
Endeavor mechanics:
- Monthly cadence (roughly).
- Tasks scale with Neighborhood population — larger groups get more.
- Rewards tie to community cooperation, not solo play.
Decor and personalization
- Furniture — chairs, tables, beds, decor from vendors and world drops.
- Class Hall replicas — small-scale models of the class Order Halls from Legion.
- Plushies — collectible stuffed-animal decor.
- Housing decor from WoW Forever Collection — Forsaken and Human Figurine decor for modern WoW housing.
Early access before March 2
Blizzard launched player housing via “The Warning” Midnight Prologue content update before March 2. Players who pre-purchased any Midnight edition could join a Neighborhood, claim a house, and customize it before the main expansion launch.
Roadmap — what’s planned but not shipped
- Guild Halls. Blizzard mentioned Guild Halls in post-launch housing plans.
- Alliance-themed Neighborhood. An additional Neighborhood is on the roadmap.
- Co-decorating. Blizzard leadership: “Co-ownership is something that we are looking at.” Not shipped at launch.
- Status for all three: announced in interviews, not shipped as of November 6, 2026.
